Hello, So I was looking around the new and it seems like the Homebrew scene seems to require a lot of different cIOS changes for things. I was wondering if this is normal or if I am reading it all wrong? Let me give an example. Keep in mind I am running 3.2U firmware. For HBC 1.0.3 to run I need IOS60 as posted here (http://forum.wiibrew.org/read.php?24,21966) but if I want my Rockband 2by Pandemonium1x - The Junkyard
Success! As you said I downloaded WiiSCU (http://wiibrew.org/wiki/WiiSCU) and used the Twilight Hack to install IOS60 (-Trucha if you are wondering) and then deleted my HomeBrew Channel. I got the HackMii multi installer for HBC 1.0.3 (http://bootmii.org/download/) and renamed the installer.elf to boot.elf and ran the Twilight Hack again to re-install HBC 1.0.3 and there it is!! Sweet. Will give it a try when I get home from work and let you know how it goes.by Pandemonium1x - Getting Started
I know this is probably a re-hashed issue but I got a pop up to update my HBC from 1.0.1 to 1.0.3 which gave you a HackMii combined nstaller for HBC 1.0.3, DVDX and BootMii. So I installed it (btw I am running 3.2U) and now the HBC will not load from BootMii or from the Wii system menu. On BootMii it just does nothing and from system menu it just goes black. I have heard a lot of talk of IOS uby Pandemonium1x - Getting Started
Success!!!! I used a SaveMii and Animal Crossing: City Folk and my system updated from 3.2(USA) to 3.3 (USA) and I am back up and running. Thanks so much for all the help!by Pandemonium1x - FixMii
I want 3.4 to upgrade my 3.2 so that should work then right? even though it is the US version and not the PAL or JAP version of the game?by Pandemonium1x - FixMii
Animal Crossing: Lets go to the city seems to be the same as the US Animal Crossing: city folk. Would the US (NTSC) version also contain the correct update?by Pandemonium1x - FixMii
I will give that one a try. Thanks.by Pandemonium1x - FixMii
I can turn it on with the wiimote. The issue happened when I tried to install Healthii and did it wrong. Just went to black and hasn't recovered.by Pandemonium1x - FixMii
I bought a savemii for a black screen brick and it works to the extent that I see a 3.2(USA) at the bottom of my screen. Now what? I tried looking for a way to burn a boot disc or something but I havn't been able to find any resources on this. What can I do to get this baby running again? EDIT: It's getting a little quiet in here. I did more research and I think I may need a legitby Pandemonium1x - FixMii
Got it to work from tutorial n: Thanks to those who....um....read my post ;-)by Pandemonium1x - FixMii
Hold up a tick......just tried it multiple times and now it seems to load video and at least homebrew. May not be an issue after all EDIT: Ok so the Pre Loader does now seem to load the video but will only boot to the HBC.....If I try to access the PreLoader from the SD Card to change any settings it just reboots to the video. Any Ideas on how to restore the System Menu?by Pandemonium1x - FixMii
Hey guys, I was trying to play an intro video on my Wii Startup by following this tutorial: I followed his instructions but when the Wii re-loaded it went to a black screen and that's it I have tried to remove the SD card. Tried to remove the movie file but nothing happens. Just stays black. Any suggestions on how I can fix this? Thanks Note: I did use PreLoader 0.29 and not 0.28 aby Pandemonium1x - FixMii
Understanding that it takes time for HBC to mirror some functions I am asking if it is possible to run my VC games from an SD card using the HBC or another 3rd party HBC app similar to the update in the new 4.0 Wii Menu functionality. I am not speaking about warez or anything of the like I just wanted to use the functionality without upgrading my Wii using the official update.by Pandemonium1x - Homebrew General
Since the system menu now has that ability does anybody know of anything as of yet that will allow Home Brew users to launch VC titles from an SD card?by Pandemonium1x - Homebrew General
