Oh, it's quite all right to be redundant. lol But anyways, I'm positive I'm hitting the Power button. Actually, I pressed the Reset button while in Super Mario Sunshine, and it reset the game, so resetting still appears to work.by Sonicdude41 - BootMii Beta
I believe I'm using beta 4. And I'm absolutely positive I'm not hitting it twice. I tested it again to make sure that wasn't the case. I can't power off with the Wii Remote in GC Mode, so I know that it's only the Power button on the front of the Wii that does this.by Sonicdude41 - BootMii Beta
Perhaps I should also mention that I usually leave the SD Card inserted. But anway... Yeah, it just did the same thing with Super Mario Sunshine. I'm guessing it's not supposed to do this, is it?by Sonicdude41 - BootMii Beta
So, I was playing a GameCube game (Sonic Mega Collection to be exact), and got bored of it. So I get and go turn off the Wii. Well, instead of it powering off like it's supposed to, it instead loads BootMii and then commences to launching the System Menu. Would anyone know happen to why it does this with GC games? I'm curious.by Sonicdude41 - BootMii Beta
BootMii reports that NAND FS Usage is at 60.4%. Is this bad? I ask because I haven't a clue as to what purpose this report serves.by Sonicdude41 - BootMii Beta
Woohoo, I get it! Thanks a lot, guys! =Dby Sonicdude41 - Offtopic
So, to check that I understand correctly: F8C16 = (15*256) + (8*16) + (12*1) = 398010 ?by Sonicdude41 - Offtopic
So I recently got into binary code. So far I've been able to teach myself to find the value of a binary number. One example: 01101010 is 106 in base 10 (correct me if I'm wrong). I would think that if I can understand this, I can understand hex. But my mind seems to be having a problem wrapping around it (probably due to the six arbitrary characters: A, B, C, D, E, F). I'm on 4.1. I want to be able to use the Shop Channel again. Would I only need to update the Channel and NOT touch the IOS updates in this app? Just wondering.by Sonicdude41 - Homebrew Applications
Quotecalvinss4Hey there Sonicdude41. Dunno if you're still following this thread, but here's a pre-alpha prototype: And here's a video: Btw, does the Sonic in your name stand for Sonic the Hedgehog? I sure hope so, 'cause that guy's awesome. Yes, I'm still following the thread. You have no idea how happy you have just made me. =D Also, yes, that'by Sonicdude41 - Ideas, requests
While I don't know enough programming to do all of that, it would be nice to see this implemented, would it not? The only reason I've thought of this, actually, is that Tetris has been the same for quite some time (20 years?). While there have been games that implement Tetris in 3D all over the internet, they don't have the same concept that I'm thinking of for 3D. Youby Sonicdude41 - Ideas, requests
Yes, while there are Tetris clones available, I would LOVE to see one of them implement the idea of Tetris on a 3D cylindrical plane. It would look similar to the picture below, except instead of using the Tetris Attack format, it would encompass Tetris's original gameplay.by Sonicdude41 - Ideas, requests
Okay, I just did it, and it worked. Thanks, Arikado! =)by Sonicdude41 - Getting Started
I have the HBC v1.0.1 (the one with the HAXX ticket). It is possible to update (from inside the HBC) to the new version that has the new ticket, right? Are there any risks in doing so?by Sonicdude41 - Getting Started
I was looking through the HackMii Installer, and I noticed that somehow, BootMii/IOS was installed. The funny thing is, I don't remember ever installing it. I went to look in the .log file that the installer created, and I saw one IOS that I've NEVER seen installed in my Wii: IOS254. Is that BootMii's IOS #?by Sonicdude41 - BootMii Beta
Actually, no. Using the banner from the HBC's website, I copied the words, and moved them around so that they were arranged in a way that would match the HBC's channel banner.by Sonicdude41 - Offtopic
QuoteJellycoronaQuoteSonicdude41No, I didn't use Photoshop. I used Paint. It was really simple, actually. Um, how? I've never really figured out paint... I just grabbed a shirt template off of Google. Then, I pasted that into Paint, used the banner from the HBC website as a base for what I wanted to create. Again, I thought it turned out nicely.by Sonicdude41 - Offtopic
I thought the shirt would look funny if the waves didn't connect with the sleeves.by Sonicdude41 - Offtopic

I finished it the other day. Original, isn't it? lolby Sonicdude41 - Offtopic
Yes, it's knockoff from the other thread, but without all the fail of GBAfail. =D Anyways, what if there was an HBC T-Shirt? That would be freakin' awesome.by Sonicdude41 - Offtopic
Well, I got my Wii back today! It turns out they just replaced the disc drive (that's a given). It's a LOT less noisier than before, so that's a plus. Also, they did NOT update the Wii to 4.0 or 4.1, so that's an even bigger plus, which means I can reinstall the HBC! Originally, I sent my Wii in without the GC cover (the hinges had broken off). Guess what? Nintendo waby Sonicdude41 - Offtopic
Okay, I just finished with AnyTitle Deleter, but I found no signs of the HAXX ticket. I noticed that when loading AnyTitle, after it was informing the Wii it was God (lol), it began to try and delete a ticket (it failed, btw). What was it that it was trying to delete?by Sonicdude41 - Offtopic
Okay, the label has come in. I'm preparing everything that's needed to get ready for shipping. Anyone know what the ticket is for DVDx and the HBC? I will be sure to delete them through AnyTitle Deleter before I ship it off.by Sonicdude41 - Offtopic
Quotepinball WizardQuoteninjafish1990Again, my friend sent his in with homebrew channel still installed and it came back still on there. I have heard of people with chipped wiis coming back and they took the chip out and sent it back with the wii... Okay, I've called Nintendo, and they said it's likely a problem with my Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. My Wii has no warranty left, and surprisingly, they said they would repair it for free! I just uninstalled DVDx and deleted the HBC. I'm concerned that they'll find the ticket to the HBC, since I deleted via the Wii System Settings Menu. Is there anything I should dby Sonicdude41 - Offtopic
I was considering trying Gecko OS and LibWiiGameLoad. I haven't done it yet, and I will attempt those options later. If those don't work, I will try uninstalling DVDx and see if that does anything.by Sonicdude41 - Offtopic
Here's the story. My little brother was playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl when all of a sudden, the "An error has occurred" screen popped up. I thought nothing of it, and did as it told me to do. So I restart the Wii, and everything seems fine and dandy. I went to the Disc Channel and inserted the SSBB disc. I listened carefully to the disc drive's noises. After inserting the disby Sonicdude41 - Offtopic

Maybe there is an exploit lying somewhere in the DSi's Web Browser. It could work almost like the exploit that was available on the iPhone. I'd just thought I'd throw that out as a possibility...by Sonicdude41 - Offtopic
