To finish up this topic, I have now fixed my disc channel issue thanks to you guys, I went through and installed all IOS's unpatched, and somehow that fixed my problem, do not know which one fixed it, but I am happy now, I get to play my disc games. Thanks for keeping with me and getting this fixed.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
jbc007, WaxyPumpkin72, WikiFSX, It is now working like it should!! The disc channel will now load a game, I checked it 3 times to make sure, 3 different ways it loaded the games. I do not know what it was, I went and installed all IOS's that I could unpatched, and weren't stubs, had a couple of them tcp timeout, so had keep trying, but end result, its now fixed. Thank you guys very veryby dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
I am working on trying to install all IOS's I tried to run mplayer ce 0.76 to see if dvd would work but it wouldn't load, said files are needed on sd card to work didn't understand that, tried mplayer, it had kinda worked before, but froze up no matter what I wanted it do, so that kinda points to the disc channel, there has to be something wrong with it.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
Quotedavidcalman_32It's because you forgot to update BootMii. Thats kinda hard to because 1. I don't have bootmii installed, 2. I can't install bootmii on my wii it will only install as a IOS and does no good, 3. I don't see what bootmii would have anything to do with the problem I am having.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
What IOS to run and install with?by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
oh don't think tried that method yet, I don't think, have tried a bunch of stuff and none of it worked. What unpatched IOS's should be installed and how to go about doing it, will see what it does.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
tried to use trucha bug restorer to patch 36 under 15 but it wouldn't do it. I could try again and see what happens.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
I will give that a try and see if it will read a dvd, and for giggles, I went google and typed in wii disc channel not working, and found some people haveing problems with there disc channel after any 4.0 updates. One said he had to rerun his update and the disc channel worked again. Wonder if I shoudl rerun my update if it will, and what it would hurt?by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
I tried gecko but it wouldn't as it says no cheats found on sd card, and then I have to power down to reset the wii.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
It can't be the game disc cause it was just working before all the updates, and have tried another game is same thing it won't load. I don't understand why after doing updates the disc drive would just quit. I give it this all a shot tomorrow and see what happens.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
I have been thinking since have tried to fix my disc channel problem, to refresh, updated to latest HBC, then updated from 3.4 to 4.2, then I had lost HBC but fixed that, and disc channel will not load a game. Now I have been thinking, What if, the 4.2 system menu was reinstalled? Would that maybe fix my disc channel problem? But would anything be lost? I have some game channels I discovered wereby dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
Well My question would be, what specific files are you needing? If its bannerbomb, and hackmii installer, how are you going to delete them from the sd card once you have used the files? There has to be a good reason or this is just some kind of scam, or maybe a troll.by dirtrider73068 - Offtopic
So you open up the fceugx folder and drop the game genie rom in there? From that point where do you find the gg.rom file to enter the codes for the games?by dirtrider73068 - Homebrew Applications
You should have a folder named "fceugx" on the root of your Wii SD card. If not create one. In this folder are three other folders; "cheats","saves" and "roms". Into this folder, along side the other three folders, you need to place a file called "gg.rom". This is as the name states the Game Genie Rom("Game Genie (Unl).nes"). Just rename it to "gg.rom" and copy it to "/fceugx/". I understand tby dirtrider73068 - Homebrew Applications
I have looked all over even searched here, and haven't found much on useing the game genie in fce ultra gx. I have update fce to the latest vrsion and saw it had game genie support, from what I have found is you have to get the game genie rom file which I have and rename it to gg.rom. I have done that. But still no luck there has been talk that you have to use .cht files, and not the game geby dirtrider73068 - Homebrew Applications
Can't tell you how to get the rom, but you can google it. I haven't had tried searching for sega cd games for gen plus emulators. Most all the features should be on the rom, I would think, since they are on all other roms for other systems, but being a cd could be different. The graphics in a cd are far more better than what was on a cartridge back in the days.by dirtrider73068 - Homebrew Applications
You may try getting the rom for that cd game to load in gen plus and see if it works. I had kinda the same question about sega's 32x games in gen plus, most all sega games, to run in gen plus are in bin format that I have found.by dirtrider73068 - Homebrew Applications
There is a trick to get to the saves games, after you start the game hit the home button, then chose load game and your save should be there. I have also found it will not save a save, you have to pick state for some reason. But this was in the fce ultra, I have, haven't update to fce ultra gx yet but should still be along the same lines.by dirtrider73068 - Homebrew Applications
I was just saying and making a point, that nobody can really hide if you use a computer or telephone. I wasn't raking you over the coals. Isn't it the whole point of having forums is to have conversation about things, and have discussions? Good for what you did, most people wouldn't take the time to report things like that, because most the time nothing will ever be done, at leastby dirtrider73068 - Homebrew General
@crisco-Can you get larger ir led's and put them in the wii sensor to improve the performance with hand on the tv? Or is better to build a better one? WHat does it entail to build one or has anybody tried that project yet?by dirtrider73068 - Offtopic
To unzip rar files, I have a program called winrar, to unzip my rom files or any of the apps from the wiki. The downside to it though is after about 40 days everytime you open it, it tells you that you need to buy, but if you hit cancel you can keep useing it. The is another that is suppose to be better is 7-zip. They way I unzip my roms files is unzip them tp my computer usually into my documentby dirtrider73068 - Homebrew Applications
Well really you aren't out of the middle of it, if they really wanted to find who sent them the email, and be able to call you to court for witness, they can trace the ip address for that so called hidden email address you used. You would be surprised how they can find people nowadays. Its how here in oklahoma they found a missing person was by her cell phone, they were able to use the lastby dirtrider73068 - Homebrew General
For 500 bucks you can a small notebook or one of those small laptops. 500 hundred is asking alot, but when you look at other apple stuff its all exspensive, if you ask me, its just the apple name.by dirtrider73068 - Offtopic
QuoteHaeroI got official system firmware 4.2E and I want to get the Homebrew channel and also want to ask some questions. 1. Some people says that in the version 4.2 you cant get the homebrew channel. Can you? 2. Is there some way my wii will stop working or something like that? 3. If I have this Homebrew channel and then update my official firmware can anything happen then? 4. I have heardby dirtrider73068 - Homebrew General
I have a question, I finally I think found a B-ball game for sega, but for a short period sega had a 32x add on the mega drive system, and there are 3 B-ball games same title but one is 32x edition. Will the 32x games run on the emulators, or is or will there be a 32x emulator? There was only 34 games form what I have googled for the 32x sega. Was there any difference in teh 32x sega over the megby dirtrider73068 - Homebrew Applications
I think it is too, just imagine how interesting you could make the games modes, make for some hard pool games.by dirtrider73068 - Ideas, requests

Ok I got it uninstalled and then reinstalled, at the top of HBC it says it running on IOS 61 v2129 if that would help with anything. I also can post the hackmii installer log if that you help as well.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
