Reason why BootMii-based apps aren't popular: it's easier to stick with "teh IOS haxxes". Fairly simple, right? There's already a plethora of tools and stuff dealing with the IOS way of doing things with an Wii. Most coders aren't interested in rewriting tons of code already avaiable for Wii just for the sake of low-level access to the console hardware (which you can now acby DanielHueho - Offtopic

Are you talking about simulating the Wii Menu features in an homebrew app? To be honest, I also thought about that once. It's possible, but complicated. Anyway, if you want just an System Menu replacement (but not similar to it), there is Freedom: EDIT: elaborating about the "it's possible" part, the biggest problem, as I see, is displaying the banners. I found this tutorial about the NAND dump part: I'm kinda afraid of using FSToolbox with all that brick warnings and stuff... So I will stick with this guide (and I will create a so-needed-for fixing-my-brix-but-so-delayed NAND backup as an bonus =P) As for modding the IOS, I guess we need to hex-edit the TMD. EDIT: Maybe the SD module is the 0000000e.app... Just a guess, though. Iby DanielHueho - Offtopic
