QuoteSifJarSome very gimmicky apps. Anyone seen the Scrabble app which lets you use iPod Touch/iPhone as letter rack? It would cost a fortune to get a four player game going with that setup: 1 iPad, 4 iPod Touches/iPhones, and the app. But still kinda cool... That's why I stick with the real stuff: cheap, still fun, and if you lose, you can throw the letters at the winner. =P @topic, iPby DanielHueho - Offtopic
Reason why BootMii-based apps aren't popular: it's easier to stick with "teh IOS haxxes". Fairly simple, right? There's already a plethora of tools and stuff dealing with the IOS way of doing things with an Wii. Most coders aren't interested in rewriting tons of code already avaiable for Wii just for the sake of low-level access to the console hardware (which you can now acby DanielHueho - Offtopic
QuotescanffQuotePiepwnsallIt does have USB but won't work with wii It will if someone writes a driver for it :) No, it won't, unless the driver is located in the IOS.by DanielHueho - Offtopic

A hint: check out the Junkyard, and maybe you will understand the tight grip at the forums about piracy stuff. Not that justify any misjudgement, but try to see the mods POV.by DanielHueho - Feedback & Support
No, probably it's just crappy. "Blahblah Official Seal method of producing hardware" 1. Look for the cheapest chinese factory avaiable 2. Send them the cheapest projects for manufactoring the product 3. Also send them a nice looking sticker and pretty boxes for packaging 4. Charge aprox. ten times the normal price of an average model of the product. 5. ?????? 6. PROFIT!by DanielHueho - Offtopic

QuotescanffI also think XChat is not free on Windows. The official one is not free on Windows, indeed. BUT X-Chat is open source, and a nice soul came and compiled it for Windows for free:by DanielHueho - Offtopic

Are you talking about simulating the Wii Menu features in an homebrew app? To be honest, I also thought about that once. It's possible, but complicated. Anyway, if you want just an System Menu replacement (but not similar to it), there is Freedom: EDIT: elaborating about the "it's possible" part, the biggest problem, as I see, is displaying the banners. Quotewildspeedgoose I doubt you even looked at the latest release dates of the plug-ins. Glide64 'Napalm WX' Release 1 August 20, 2009 and glN64 August 18, 2003. Just over six years difference. Try to understand, these are the release dates FOR THE PC VERSION SOURCE. Wii64 were already released, it's done, it's amazing, is still at the first beta, it's going to be even better, yadadadadada, some people don't know shit about coding, or about computers, maybe (you don't need to be a coder to be smart) My sugestion: someone close this thread, please? ='( This was getting fun... Oh, well, I will keep the readme, at least. EDIT: Nonetheless, let's finish this IOS60 issue, just to be ready for the legal Sneek. I asked for help at the IRC again (=P), and discovered that the SD module is, in fact, the 00000004.app file. So, just did a quick search for the respective string showed by tmdinfo.py and done: here is what we need to killby DanielHueho - Offtopic
Oh noes, here we go again XD Probably have something to do with Mini code. Maybe crediar forgot to release the source with his modifications. Anyway, let's keep going: I got Wii.py to work with AlexLH help, from IRC, here's the output of tmdinfo about the IOS TMD: TMD: Versions: (todo) 0, CA CRL (todo) 0, Signer CRL (todo) 0, System 0-0 Title ID: 00000001-0000003c Titby DanielHueho - Offtopic
QuoteSifJarand in the nfo it says delete the SD module entry from the TMD, not delete the SD module. Exactly. My kick is, we need to delete the entry related to the SD module content (that file) but not the file itself.by DanielHueho - Offtopic
I understanded the part about creating the new 0000000e.app (this sounds like the easiest part =P) What I was trying to say is that maybe this file is the SD module itself.by DanielHueho - Offtopic
I found this tutorial about the NAND dump part: I'm kinda afraid of using FSToolbox with all that brick warnings and stuff... So I will stick with this guide (and I will create a so-needed-for fixing-my-brix-but-so-delayed NAND backup as an bonus =P) As for modding the IOS, I guess we need to hex-edit the TMD. EDIT: Maybe the SD module is the 0000000e.app... Just a guess, though. Iby DanielHueho - Offtopic
