i havent heard that, the only thing ive heard is about the supposedly new wii's with normal dvd support(although that is already accomplished with DVDX)

i hope it is, at least it has less chance of bricking wii's because the only way for the update to fail is a power faillure, unlike a online update which can be interrupted by a power failure or a internet connection failure(:

yeah i have that same problem i installed bootmii beta 4 and take a nand backup then restore and it said "dump is from a different wii"

my wii is almost 2 and a half years old, my wii drive was making sound and not reading disc so i bought a nintendo wii drive cleaner(it cost ten dollars) and it started readind discs again and it stopped making alot of sounds

use the corresponding hackmii installer to delete the hbc you dont want or use any title deleter and remove title id JODI if you dont want hbc 1.0.6 and delete title id HAXX if you dont want hbc 1.0.x (any hbc other than 1.0.5 or 1.0.6)

he can but on the restoremii screen he has to press all four buttons (a,b,x,y) on the gamecube controller at the same time for it to work
