Trying to use FreeTypeGX but getting some compile errors. Thinking I'm missing some things that are suppose to be added to the makefile. I do have FreeType and Metaphrasis libraries installed in the development environment. So basically, is there certain things I'm suppose to be adding to the makefile that I may be overlooking? > "make" main.c In file included from c:/devkby Jigen - Coding
Quoteyellowstarhttp://wiibrew.org/wiki//dev/fs Nice, thanks. Now to just figure out why permission denied. Oh well, when I get more time.by Jigen - Coding
What's it mean if ISFS_Open returns -102?by Jigen - Coding
I don't know off the top of my head what is what. But the power/reset/eject buttons are remapped to left/right/select in Bootmiiby Jigen - Getting Started
Null isn't necessarily zero in all cases. I've always thought it better to initialize pointers to null instead of zero as a safety measure. In the event the pointer isn't set later before being accessed, the program would fail instead of "succeeding" and writing/reading from the wrong place.by Jigen - Coding
Been working on modding StartPatch to allow selection of what IOS to use, as it now uses cIOS only. Got it all working except I get ISFS_GetFileStats error -101. ISFS_Initalize and ISFS_Open work just fine. Any ideas? Or is ISFS_GetFileStats just something I can't do from IOS36? fstats *fs; fs = NULL; printf("Done.\nISFS_GetFileStats...\n"); ret = ISFS_GetFileStats(fd, fs); iby Jigen - Coding
Been doing some work on this myself. Successfully got the choosing of what IOS to work. I do have ES_Identify in IOS36, and am now making it past that error, but instead am crashing on ISFS_GetFileStats Error.by Jigen - Homebrew Applications
Tried Nintendo Channel again earlier today and still got the http error.by Jigen - Testing Corner
Modified it to use IOs36, as it calls ES_identify. However now Im getting a Get FileStats error return code -101by Jigen - Homebrew Applications
Hmm, guess this gives me a reason to start trying some Wii homebrew myself.by Jigen - Homebrew Applications
Error with http request. Can't get whole message as it goes away too fast.by Jigen - Testing Corner
All I get when trying to run modified version is a black screen. Not even to the IOS selection screen.by Jigen - Homebrew Applications
Nah, Dop-IOS Mod only installs real IOS not cIOS. Only way I've seen to install IOS250 is using some of wani's stuffby Jigen - Homebrew Applications
Just downloaded the latest version of startpatch, which refuses to start if you don't have IOS250 installed. Curious as to why this is, when previous versions didn't require it? Often hear bad things about installing cIOS, so want to know what need StartPatch has for them.by Jigen - Homebrew Applications
QuoteArikadoThanks for the feedback :) - I'll see what I can do... Just out of curiosity, what channels did you try? Someone told me privately that the shop channel works fine but others (specifically the Nintendo channel) didn't work. I've been trying to install Japan's Nintendo Channelby Jigen - Testing Corner
Just tried trial 9. Failed in different way. Get error containing "ISFS_CreateDir ........ -4"by Jigen - Testing Corner
Installing channels no longer gives garbled mess, does however just hang after the line "Installing the Channel..."by Jigen - Testing Corner
QuoteArikadoQuoteJigenAlso I'm assuming even if I were to use Dop-IOS Mod to install the Japanese Wii Shop, I wouldn't actually be able to use it as theres still some sort of protection around that isn't there? Patch your system menu to let you play region free channels? (See StartPatch) I would make a bootmii boot2 NAND backup before attempting this though... I remember months bacby Jigen - Testing Corner
On a semi-related question. Would using AnyRegion changer to change settings to Jap, then Dop-IOS Mod to install Japan's SysMenu 4.2 make a functional Japenese Wii, or is there other pieces behind the scene that AnyRegion Changer took care of with its system menu download that I'd lack using this combo? Also I'm assuming even if I were to use Dop-IOS Mod to install the Japanese Wby Jigen - Testing Corner
Just noticed another thing, even on trial 4. When trying to install a channel it goes past initializing network, and right after ticket appears, the screen goes to its garbled mess.by Jigen - Testing Corner
Installers telling me theres no known vulnerable IOS. Seems I shouldn't have gone and updated every IOSby Jigen - Testing Corner
Just successfully updated all IOSes with trial 2, though my HBC is now upside down... Also can't get new system menu to download. Getting create temp directory error.by Jigen - Testing Corner
Just disconnected the wired internet and hooked it up wirelessly, still get the crash.by Jigen - Testing Corner
QuoteArikadoDo you guys have gamecube memory cards plugged into your Wii? If so, take them out and tell me if you still get a crash.Nope, no Gamecube memory cards. Edit: I do have the Wii hooked up to the internet by a wired connection if that might have something to do with it...by Jigen - Testing Corner
QuoteArikadoQuoteSifJarIf you must update, I'd advise using dop-IOS MOD and updating all IOS, making sure to install IOS70, update all channels and finally install the 4.2 System Menu for your region. I would update to the HackMii Installer 0.5 versions of everything and have a BootMii boot2 NAND Backup ready before doing any of this though... NAND backups saved my butt yesterday. So glad Iby Jigen - Homebrew General
