exactly what i was looking for.. i'll have to try it later tonight. thanks!by jabce85 - Homebrew General
yeah, that's where i screwed up; i tried to load an import and forgot to run gecko.. but now i get that annoying update reminder. i'm wanting that gone, and i've looked around but it looks like preloader is the only thing that will make it go away.by jabce85 - Homebrew General
I can't find anything that just lets you delete the update warning, any ideas? Also, can this be done without using preloader?by jabce85 - Homebrew General
shame on you nintendo.... shame on you.by jabce85 - Homebrew General
ha, i'm jabce85.. anyway, sounds like you got a plan already laid out in your head. good luck on finishing up your other project! i hope that gnubg thing can help you out in some way. let me know if you want me to write instructions or do any time consuming task not relating to hardcore programming....by jabce85 - Ideas, requests
does anyone know if it will support file compression for the roms and if so what type(s)?by jabce85 - Homebrew Applications
mdbrim.. do you think this gnubg thing could be run on the wii? i tried looking through the posted source, but my little experience with c and java is just that.... limitedby jabce85 - Ideas, requests

awesome! i'm extremely glad i'm not the only one here that wants to see this.. for any developer: if you're going to tackle this, PLEASE make your number 1 priority a computer opponent. Games that are only made for 2 player do get made faster, but when it's 3 am and you want to play, who is really gonna be there with you? also, I am more than willing to help out, but my prby jabce85 - Ideas, requests
read this. ok, so it doesn't screw with what you've got, but you do have to have cIOS 249by jabce85 - Homebrew General
oh, and there is a newer program out now that combines the savegame extractor and installer into one program, but it screws with something inside the wii the others didn't mess with.by jabce85 - Homebrew General
hmm... i've never tried it that route.... I got that error when trying to use sdhc cards though.by jabce85 - Homebrew General
I can't believe no one has requested backgammon yet. Anyway, for anyone who hasn't played it, it is terribly addicting. For any programmers interested, you might want to check out this little program known as gnubg.. From what I understand, it's pretty much a full fledged professional backgammon player in code (it does so many things I'm not even going to list them here).by jabce85 - Ideas, requests
you're probably using an sdhc card aren't you? savegame extractor only works with sd cards.by jabce85 - Homebrew General
QuoteUffe FlarupIf you create some good levels I would happily include them in the next version of the game. Check the wiibrew wiki page for Sand Traps for more info. I just got an email back from Uffe Flarup, the programmer of the game (who seems like a really nice guy by the way), and he confirmed that if you can submit some good maps to him he would add them in. I also suggested a few newby jabce85 - Homebrew Applications
Yes, this is definitely a game you need to try. I'm not the coder, just a fan. Anyone think they can make some killer maps? Apparently the author is willing to put them into the game if they're good enough.by jabce85 - Homebrew Applications
i'm only going to bump this the one time, please if anyone has any ideas, let me know.by jabce85 - Homebrew General
Well, I noticed this problem for the first time about a week ago when the homebrew browser crashed on me with some type of fatal exception error. Anyway, my sound for the wii system menu and also for any wii game i play sounds really bad. The best example of what it sounds like is similar to when you are playing audio on old crappy speakers, it's not necessarily fuzzy, but anything high pitcby jabce85 - Homebrew General
