^^ wouldnt that still leave the ticket?by TopGun96 - Homebrew General
Well you could try a different tv if it matters that much. Maybe it is something that your tv does when it senses a crash. (I have no idea)by TopGun96 - FixMii
QuoteSifJarThe problem is when the diag disc check was removed, disc updates must have been blocked, so it will not try to install the update from the disc before playing. Also, please remove the warez talk in your post (official nintendo recovery disc is illegal for you to have). Anyway, if you can boot Smash Bros, what you need to do is simple - use SamshStack to run something like wadimportby TopGun96 - FixMii
That would be very cool.... are either of those open source?by TopGun96 - Ideas, requests
nope just changes this post. In the offtopic section it still says "changing topic name?"by TopGun96 - Offtopic
What version of bootmii are you using? There is a bug in one of the older ones that leaves a zero byte file on the SD card..... I dont quite understand the problemby TopGun96 - Getting Started
How would one go about doing this? Or can only a mod do it? I ask because of this.by TopGun96 - Offtopic
well it downloads the same file as Code Downloader sooo.... It should probably workby TopGun96 - Homebrew Applications
IIRC the savgame manager doesnt work properly with the newest HBC. You could try loading it through Loadmii.by TopGun96 - Homebrew Applications
Sorry for all the questions but what do you mean "when it crashes"? Like an DSI exception or just a random time when it will turn of? I'm just a little confused about your problem...by TopGun96 - FixMii
Plus (IIRC) no one has successfully patched a GC game or MIOSby TopGun96 - Ideas, requests
MIOS is used to lock out all the Wii's hardware. It is only used when you press the start button in the disc channel. (if there is a GC game in) It is not running while the game is playing. Just thought I should clear that up.by TopGun96 - Ideas, requests
Remove diag disc check removes the diagnostic tests that the wii checks on discs... So my guess is it let's you run unsigned discs?by TopGun96 - Homebrew Applications
Quote lol Shigeru Miyamoto (or whatever is name is) IS bushing. Yeah and Arikado is Jodi! (Ninty's piracy guy) And yeah I think that it would make sense for it to look for the System Menu version. Lucky it doesn't though, huh?by TopGun96 - FixMii
What do you mean a crackling sound? Like from the disc drive?by TopGun96 - FixMii
I had that issue myself a few days ago. I kept pressing the on button on the wii and it stayed yellow. I then unplugged it and everything worked fine... Weirdby TopGun96 - FixMii
QuoteWaxyPumpkin72 The wii goes into a "GC Mode", doesn't it? All the wii hardware gets locked out when you run a GC game. Correct. The Wii's NAND and all the other things that are not found in a game cube, are locked out.by TopGun96 - Ideas, requests
Please remove that link as it pertains to fail. Thanksby TopGun96 - FixMii
Correct me if I am wrong but, wouldnt the game have to know to look on the NAND to find the save? Absolutely NO GC game can do this. (The gamecube has no NAND space for saves)by TopGun96 - Ideas, requests
Ahhh yes. I see now. Thanks.by TopGun96 - Homebrew Applications
Wouldn't enabling the twighlight hack on 4.0/4.1 be pointles? You would have to use an exploit to run startpatch anyway...... Kinda redundant huh?by TopGun96 - Homebrew Applications
QuoteSifJarYou stubbed IOS60 by upgrading to 4.2, then updated to 3.2 which needs IOS60, so full brick. Hence, downgrade = fail. The only way to unbrick is either BootMii as boot2 or an Infectus. I think you mean 4.0. Not 3.2....by TopGun96 - FixMii
Quotegiantpunea few new games coming out have S instead of R. look at the never guitar heroes. Yeah I believe that Guitar hero 5 has a title ID of SXEE.by TopGun96 - Homebrew General
No it is for System Menu 4.2. Therefore, not 4.1. StartPatch has this in older (4.0, 4.1) versions as well. It is called "Remove Health Check" or something like that....by TopGun96 - Homebrew Applications
I kinda like it... I like my mac too :)by TopGun96 - Offtopic
What about a title starting with a .? (.UPE) I have one like that and it is very peculiar.by TopGun96 - Homebrew General
You downgraded.... That is your problem. What version did you downgrade to and what update was on the disc? Your system menu is running off of a stubbed IOS. You need to install a functional IOS for the system menu to run off. Probably IOS 50. If you have a trucha patched IOS, you can use Dop-IOS MOD v6 to install an older (functioning) version of IOS 50.by TopGun96 - FixMii
