QuotekeybounceThen the question is: 1. Is there a 2.0 release? I've seen links, but they are all dead/not found. 2. Is there a way to get 1.1 to work? I have 3.2 and an old (early) wii. A1: The version I'm running can be found in this thread however it is 2 years old at this point and won't save your configuration settings. It does however add USB support for Wii64. Does anybody read that RED TEXT before they post anymore? Also it probably has to do with the FAT32 partition not being active. As far as anybody knows, it seems that at this point, active development on Wii64 by the official team is dead.by technoman - Homebrew Applications
Ok then (not sure if I can mention this as I don't really know how it works so sorry if it breaks the rules) would that NEEK thing, or whatever it's called work instead of Dolphin? I vaguely remember reading that it was some type of developmental sandbox for the Wii. Also I remember reading on WiiBrew that you could build you're own USB Gecko. How hard would that be and would itby technoman - Offtopic
QuoteSifJarNot quite as convenient as a USB Gecko, perhaps, but you should be able to debug a lot of errors with a combination of those if you can't get your hands on a USB Gecko (they do seem rather elusive these days). EDIT: Certainly for your early, simpler projects you should be absolutely fine without a USB gecko I'm not really so worried about convenience with the USB Gecko mby technoman - Offtopic
Hi guys long time no see! Sorry I haven't been active for a while. I've been too busy with Xbox 360, PC coding, and that all important job of earning money and forgot all about my Wii and the awesome guys here. Now that introductions are over, here is my main reason for posting. I've finally worked my way to understanding and coding C++ and a little bit of Lua and would like toby technoman - Offtopic
You have to hold down several buttons when using the left stick or do a complete button remapping. You should just save yourself the trouble and pickup a GCN controller.by technoman - Getting Started
Actually there sort of is. If you could mount the iPhone/iPod as a USB device (this would require a complete reformat of the iPod, so I'm not sure it's worth the trouble), it would most likely work in something like WiiMC.by technoman - Ideas, requests
The only problem I could foresee is how you would put it into an emulator. If it's as simple as resizing/making a bitmap image and making a small mod to the code, it might not bee too much trouble. Unless your talking about a VC game, it could be quite easy to do.by technoman - Ideas, requests
There's nothing wrong with Priiloader. I use it all the time, and it works just fine to boot directly into HBC. The only thing you might need is the hacks_hash.ini file.by technoman - Homebrew General
Why bother. In most of the emulators, you can set the correct display ratio (4:3 or 16:9) so you don't have the black bars.by technoman - Ideas, requests
QuotetueidjIt won't work. The default usbstorage device driver only handles one device, same goes for libfat unless it is explicitly given a device and starting sector for a partition to mount. *scratches head* Huh? I thought sectors were only for DVD and CDs and each USB drive counts as a partition?by technoman - Homebrew General
Unless you can cheat on it by putting in ccs into the game with stuff like the Konmai Code, I don't think there is a way.by technoman - Homebrew Applications
QuoteSifJarWii64 is the best you'll get on the Wii. End of story. Quotebg4545Project64 was made for PCs and will never run on the Wii. To both your answers I have one question. Why?by technoman - Homebrew Applications
QuoteSifJarYeah, it takes so long to reinstall...oh wait. I meant for the BootMii part -_-. I know HBC has self-updating but I wasn't sure about BootMii. Either way I reinstalled both and saw the font changes, which look pretty good. Because of it, I might try making a BSOD theme for HBC.by technoman - Homebrew General
Sorry that I might not have been clear. Say for instance I have FCEUGX on one USB stick and the ROMs on the other. Would I be able to read/get the games from the other USB stick?by technoman - Homebrew General
Registered? I wanted both plugged into the Wii at the same time so I could transfer and grab files from both.by technoman - Homebrew General
Dammit! Now I have to reinstall. >:( Thanks though the no_ios_reload fix was a long time coming.by technoman - Homebrew General
I'm finally back (Xbox 360 does miracles for you if you have a Wii :) Anyway, yesterday I finally bought myself another USB stick (SanDisk Cruzer 2.0 8GB) to store more homebrew apps on. I was wondering if I can have both USB drives plugged into the Wii at the same time without frying my Wii or USBs. Also, does it have to be formatted to FAT32? I saw some other file systems I'd likeby technoman - Homebrew General
Ok, how would I install an IOS off of a disc update? I'd doubt that you would be able to download something like that from NUS.by technoman - Homebrew General
I figured it would be a good idea because if you idle in a game for too long, you get booted for inactivity. I figured this would be a way around it for people who want to host clan servers and the like. Is there a cheat code that you could make to stop that problem? That's the main reason that I thought it would be a good idea.by technoman - Ideas, requests
Is it as easy as editing one line in the code to wait longer? I might be able to sift through the code and edit the value.by technoman - Homebrew Applications
After thorough testing with both of the emulators, I have found that you have to reset the settings every time you start the application. Also if you take saves from a computer and rename them, they won't work. Just thought I'd let you know.by technoman - Homebrew Applications
I would have at least expected a reply after 126 views :( I thought that this might be a cool idea and since I didn't find anything about it not being possible I thought I'd ask.by technoman - Ideas, requests
As I am getting it for Christmas, I was wondering if Kirby: Return to Dreamland requires a specific IOS. I have the "block disc updates" enabled with priiloader and I don't feel like having to use DOP-Mii again.by technoman - Homebrew General
Quotebg4545Try looking here: It doesn't work because Wii64 and WiiSX (and Hugo-Wii) were released quite a while ago so they don't have current optimizations for USB access. Instead of Hugo-Wii try WiiMednafen: I've been having a similar problem. Everything loads off of my USB stick except I can't save or load saves from Project 64. Also I have to keep changing the settinby technoman - Homebrew Applications
I've been playing online alot lately and was wondering if it's possible to create an app that runs a dedicated server for Wii games. It would be cool to host a 24/7 server for Brawl and Goldeneye.by technoman - Ideas, requests
Essentially it's an earlier form of the Letterbomb exploit. Only thing is that the envelope looks cooler than the current one.by technoman - Software
Is there an older and more stable version I can use?by technoman - Homebrew Applications
The only thing that I couldn't get the WAD to do was open Wii64. I can install custom channel WADs though just fine.by technoman - Homebrew General
I would give you the file but I can't on here. Sorry!by technoman - Cheat Codes
