Oh, I found out the problem. Turns out I had the wrong ethernet cord plugged in. Sorry guys, that was a fail on my part :).by ThunderChunkier - Homebrew General
Okay, thank you, but wouldn't you be pissed too if you just bought a game off eBay only for it not to work once you pop it in your N64?by ThunderChunkier - Homebrew General
Yes I know, but I was wonder if I could update my Wii.by ThunderChunkier - Homebrew General
Well I don't even know the most current FW (4.1 maybe)? I am currently using 3.3U and wondering if updating via Nintendo would not allow me to use any Homebrew or etc. I really need to update because I hear that you can store Virtual Console games on your SD card and right now I am virtually out of space. I will admit I did download one WAD but that was only because I was pissed that theby ThunderChunkier - Homebrew General
Yes, Homebrew Browser is what I meant. Well the network initializes correctly, so WiFi is working. How would I know if I had the most recent Homebrew? Wait, I think my version of Homebrew is 1.0.3 and then it goes on to say IOS38 v.14.25by ThunderChunkier - Homebrew General
It has been a little while since I have been on my Wii or Homebrew for that matter. But for some reason when I try to run the Homebrew App Store, it will not work. It says "Requesting IP address or www.codemii.com" (which I don't remember if it always said that). Then it says it could not obtain that IP address. Any idea on how I can fix this?by ThunderChunkier - Homebrew General
Oh, I thought since it came with my HBC, it was okay. Sorry.by ThunderChunkier - The Junkyard
Well in order to play the WAD, I am told you need a certain IOS (can't remember the exact name). However, when I download it, Windows says it can not find the source to open it with, or something along those lines. I can either "Searc the Web" or "Choose from a list." I don't know what to do; I have WinRAR, but the file is not .rar. Can someone tell me how I can fix this? Thanks.by ThunderChunkier - The Junkyard
Thank you so much Phoenix, that is exactly what I needed to do.by ThunderChunkier - Homebrew General
Well a few days ago I was putting some ROMs on my fceugx NES emulator. Suddenly something happened and I have no idea what it was. It exited and when I open the folder from my SD card, all the folders are in some really weird text and it says the total size of the folder is 30gb. So I tried to delete it off the SD card from the Homebrew Channel and the Wii froze; When I try to delete it by putby ThunderChunkier - Homebrew General
Thank you, it told me exactly where to put them.by ThunderChunkier - Getting Started
Oh well what I did was download a ROM, extract it to a folder on my computer, and then copy the ROM on to the root of my SD. I just realized I made a mistake in my post by saying emulators; I meant to be saying do I have to put the ROMs at the root of the SD card?by ThunderChunkier - Getting Started
Do I, or am I able to make a separate folder for my emulators because it is getting quite cluttered on the root of my SD. Thank you.by ThunderChunkier - Getting Started
Okay, now I see. Thank you for your help.by ThunderChunkier - Getting Started
So if I copy everything to the SD card, then I do accidentally brick my Wii, I can restore everything I backed up on my SD card before it was bricked, right? Virtual Console games and all?by ThunderChunkier - Getting Started
I believe I understand what it is, but I don't know weather or not to install it. Is there any way to uninstall it? When it says "backs up my Wii data in less than 3 minutes onto and SD card" does that mean everything including Virtual Console games because if so I don't think I have enough space on my 1GB SD card. I have 3.3 by the way. Am I still able to do everything with the Hby ThunderChunkier - Getting Started

Okay I have quite a few questions about emulators on the Wii. There are quite a few so bear with me please. 1. Can I play ROMs I have saved on a USB through Homebew? 2. Do I have to keep doing the slow process of downloading a ROM, extracting the file, and putting it onto my SD card in order to play it on the Wii, or is there an easier way? 3. Is there any way to put the ROMs on the Wiiby ThunderChunkier - Getting Started
