umm I don't mean to bump this thread, but I too am having issues with setting up SMB... I've taken TheManuel's advice, although I don't know how to: -Enabled and set password for guest account. Can anybody tell me how to do that? (Once again sorry for bumping this old thread... I don't know if I should make my own new one)by Anteop - Homebrew Applications

I wouldn't say you cured yourself with updating, considering I just soft modded two of my friends' wiis after updating them myself to 4.1U. I renamed it to boot.dol and I also had the private folder in the root of your SD card. Then go to the place in the wii button on bottom right where there are channels, THEN choose SD card. SDHC Problems With Tantric Emulators - 15 years ago
Hello once again guys xD, I use an SDHC Dane-Elec 8GB Class 4 card that used to not be so faithful, but now in the latest version of the homebrew channel, never fails. Unless of course we're talking about Tantric emulators like Visual Boy GX, FCE Ultra GX, SNES9X GX. All the files are in the right place (100% for sure), and I certainly do not have enough roms to exceed the 1000 limit. Theby Anteop - Getting Started

I never use WC24, it just scares me the fact that its on the whole time and that nintendo can access it through internet and stuff. Its true also that it gets super hot too. But as for updating, just regularily update, I have never had any issues with normal updating.by Anteop - Homebrew General
Can HBC Load From USB if SD is in slot? - 15 years ago
Hey again guys, I've been enjoying watching DVDs and other divx-type files on my wii since you guys last helped me, but I have come across one more problem... My Wii usually has issues with my SDHC card because at times it fails to read the applications in the homebrew channel. I have found a way around this because it always seems to work fine when using a USB key, now that its supportedby Anteop - Getting Started

Hey, I'm still kinda newbie but I was looking around wiibrew wiki and this forum but I'm not exactly sure if this could get me bricked or not. I have HBC installed to the latest version, but I can't install DVDX because I get an Error -2011, which I was told was due to my higher system version (4.01U).
