Try this and tell me what you get. There is a soon to be a full out hack using this. Just wait about a week and it should work.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
I know it comes with an emulator but I am looking for the full out OS running directly. I might try a virtual machine and put in the eeePC's stats.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
It's worth taking a look into. Will probably use it too. Thanks, always forget about Google.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
Does anybody have access to set up a SVN of sorts where me and a couple of other people can store code and update it in revisions? I might set up a SourceForge project but personally, I would prefer a different system. Just trying to setup the basics so I can start porting of the project.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
Does anybody know how to install Andoid on an x86 desktop? I am more so looking for a project where someone has already ported it to the PC.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
SAFARI!!! I am biased toward mac but still. I also have firefox for issues that once in a while I get.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
If you are making one for a controller with rumble then you probably should you 16 gauge, otherwise 18 gauge or even telephone sized wire would be good.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
QuoteDanielHuehoIt's good to see a Atari emulator on the Wii. Now we can play E.T! XD LOL!!! I actually have that cartridge. I got this box full of games and a 2600 a year or two back but it is missing the TV cable. I tried my RF modulator from my Genesis but that didn't work. I've played some of the Atari games on my computer but there is nothing like being on the couch in fronby pinball Wizard - Homebrew Applications
QuoteArikadoYou're probably gonna need it for a little while longer than that. Doesnt Dark Alex do the custom firmware? My understanding is that while the hack could be used to potentially install custom firmware, right now nothing exists except a simple defender game for use with the hack. Installing custom firmware with the hack is still a long ways off. There is a fully hacked HEN versiby pinball Wizard - Offtopic
Yep, assuming that they exist (I think they do...) I am looking to get something together this week or next for you.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
Well I haven't seen anything out for it just yet BUT I am pretty sure that your waiting will be over soon. You will only need to borrow the game not own it. Just wait about a week and I SHOULD have something soon.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
Quotebg4545 Oh... So does that mean PSP-3000 can run cfw now? Not quite. You can now do everything that the custom firmware can do but until they finalize the IPL stuff we cannot install any M33 stuff on PSP-3000 or the one TA-V88-3 board. We are almost there. PSP-2000 and PSP-1000 can have the m33 install done with this though.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
Quotebg4545Quotepinball WizardDo you have the game Grip shift? There is about to be released a way to run homebrew on the PSP with Gripshift. I can get you some more instruction as soon as the hack is released. I thought you couldn't get a cfw through this hack, and it only lets you run some psp homebrew... They found a way similar to the Lumines hack to run a HEN (Homebrew Enabler) versionby pinball Wizard - Offtopic
Do you have the game Grip shift? There is about to be released a way to run homebrew on the PSP with Gripshift. I can get you some more instruction as soon as the hack is released. EDIT: Whatever you do do not update. To enable these hacks you must stay below 5.03 firmware version.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
Legally you cannot download these games (unless I misunderstand what you are getting at). Without a hacked PSP you cannot run these pieces of software anyways.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
I don't know how well you are with soldering but you COULD make a pandora's battery with your or by buying a new one. It involves breaking it apart and doing some soldering but that might be your thing. You need t obe experienced though, remember that.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
You must get a pandora battery to uupdate. A 5.03M33 wouldn't help you because Sony has patched up holes that allow the unsigned code to run so without a patch (M33) you cannot run the updater files. Do you have a PSP-3000? If so then you cannot hack it just yet anyways.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
I found a plug-in for the mac called StompBox but I do not have GarageBand installed at the moment on my computer to use it. I more or less need a standalone application.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
Anyone know of any good 8-bit remixes of songs? I've been on youtube listening to some parodies and remixes of stuff. Also, any good tool to make 8-bit music on a mac?by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
QuoteDied2Well... I don't trust myself with a soldering gun. Again, I am pretty sure that it is a plug in module. Or at least some modchips or I'm crazy (or all three ;) ) Either way i understand your distrust of a soldering iron. I used to destroy boards with the soldering iron until I got good at it.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
Don't modchips just simply plug into the disc drive? I could be wrong but I thought it was just a simple plug that looks like a ribbon cable style. You will need a triwing screwdriver though.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
I can change my wii's system time by option of myself. What system version do you have?by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
Nope. If it won't boot to get to the system menu or at least anything visual on a normal, regular start-up then you aren't getting the updates.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
I am not wanting to offend anyone here but realistically if any stimulus plan is to work it must give money to the bottom of the chain, not the top for a "trickle effect". Give money to the spenders and let it pay for these businesses. That is how it works. Not rich people getting money to spend. They are rich because they don't blow their money. I personally don't have a cell phoneby pinball Wizard - Offtopic
QuoteDrLuckyhow is softmodding warranty voiding? It is a gray area. We have stories where people have sent in softmodded wii's and gotten them repaired, coming back with HBC still installed. Technically though the warranty states that modifications to the system will void the warranty. Lawyers left it blank so that they can twist it anyway they need. Honestly, I think that I wouldn'by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
nlindig, Great work. I see you think that we might not be paying attention to your talk but we read the articles, I just haven't found any good spot to comment yet.by pinball Wizard - Hardware
You have to wait until we get system menu 3.5 out. Then buy/rent a game with 3.5 on it.by pinball Wizard - Offtopic
I am starting to get a bigger and bigger stockpile of broken game systems and accessories. Does anyone have any tutorials to fix any of the following issues: Xbox: I recieved it for free already broken. Got it just so I could keep people from repairing it and spending money on Mircosoft games. My plan is to put linux on it. Issue is that the PSU is dead so I took a ATX power supply and choppedby pinball Wizard - Offtopic
No. Online games do not pull down updates to work. Future games might require it though. At the moment that is not required.by pinball Wizard - Homebrew General
Or even the use of Bochs (http://bochs.sourceforge.net/) could be done. Full speed is almost not even considerable running on the hardware in the Wii but would be a nice proof of concept.by pinball Wizard - Homebrew General
