Try using Trucha Bug Restorer to patch IOS 36. Then run Dop-IOS Mod again on IOS 36.by jbc007 - Getting Started
Reinstalling IOS 9 will fix the issue with Wii Sports and other games that use IOS 9. However, if the issue is also with games that use other IOSes, those games still will not work properly.by jbc007 - Getting Started
Go ahead and install Bootmii as boot2; the risk in installing the existing versions extremely small. In fact, I am not aware of any wiis that have been bricked by Bootmii.by jbc007 - Getting Started
I have not used Dop-IOS Mod to restore the trucha bug, so I am not entirely sure what you will see when doing it. However, you need to downgrade IOS 15. Then you need to run Dop-IOS Mod on IOS 15 and have it install IOS 36 with all the patches. Finally, restore IOS 15. If I am not mistaken, all of this is done in the install an IOS that accepts fakesigning section. After patching IOS 36, rby jbc007 - Getting Started
In the interest of keeping things simple, I recommend that you use Dop-IOS Mod to patch IOS 36. To do this, choose the install an IOS that accepts fakesigning option. You should use the latest version of Dop-IOS Mod for this. After patching IOS 36, you can run Dop-IOS Mod on it to install all of the other IOSes (again, there is no need to install IOS 70). There should be no errors, and youby jbc007 - Getting Started
IOS 30 and 60 are stubs, so you can't use them. An IOS can't be downgraded without being fakesigned. Since you are attempting to downgrade IOS 60 (the usable version that Dop-IOS Mod can install is older than the stub that you have) you need to run Dop-IOS Mod on an IOS with the trucha bug. However, you don't need to downgrade any IOSes, so this is unnecessary. Just run Dop-Iby jbc007 - Getting Started
The only way that Nintendo can find out that this wii was modified is if he tells them. It looks exactly like a wii that was bricked by a failed update, which Nintendo fixes for free.by jbc007 - FixMii
Quotemdbrimno, but they'll see that the Wii was modded and refuse to fix it. That does not seem very likely. Check out the Preloader brick topic, especially the second page. Nintendo can't tell whether this sort of issue was caused by homebrew or a failed update, so they perform the repair.by jbc007 - FixMii
Nintendo can't tell that this issue was caused by homebrew rather than a failed update. They may fix it.by jbc007 - FixMii
Did you use the Twilight Hack to launch homebrew to run brawl? That would explain the play log issue. Anyway, try using the Twilight Hack or Bannerbomb to launch Starfall. You should also try (re)installing the latest version of the Homebrew Channel. Regarding the flickering pixels, you may need to send your wii in for repair if it is a problem. If you do this, you must remove all traces oby jbc007 - FixMii
Does your disc slot light blink twice when you turn the wii on without the SD card in it? If it does, you have Bootmii as boot2 and you can easily fix it; someone can explain how if this is the case. If not, a repair will require a hardware NAND programmer. It is probably not the bluetooth module.by jbc007 - FixMii
Perhaps a Starfall region free hack is causing the problem. Try removing this patch if it is installed. If that doesn't work, download BC and MIOS with NUS Downloader and install them with WAD Import.by jbc007 - FixMii
To use AnyRegion Changer, you must patch IOS 35 with the trucha bug. After doing this, AnyRegion Changer will work, regardless of your system menu version. Also, you must delete your current shop account (if I remember correctly, by doing this, you will lose everything that you have downloaded) before changing the region. Otherwise, you will get an error when accessing the shop channel. Ifby jbc007 - Homebrew General

The skip disc update check patch in Starfall and Startpatch does prevent an update being installed from a game disc through the rescue menu. This also applies with Preloader, however, with Preloader you can easily disable the patch and install the update. Although, in this case there would be an easier way to fix it. Deleting something in data management does not remove all traces of it. This is why you can copy things that you had installed before back to the wii after deleting them. This works with the Homebrew Channel like everything else, but fakesigned channels will not copy back unless the system menu IOS has the trucha bug.by jbc007 - Getting Started
You could try Savemii or Savemiifrii (google it if you are not familiar with it) but the rescue menu probably will not load. However, if it does, you could insert a newer game and it will install the update from that game (only if your system menu is not 2.x). Otherwise, you could install a mod chip, burn an autoboot WAD Import disc, and install a new system menu and its IOS (if your system menby jbc007 - FixMii
You can perform the update from NSMB; it's just the boot2 update, which you can not perform with homebrew tools. However, if you update, it will remove Bootmii. In this case, you should reinstall Bootmii as boot2 (not as IOS) with the Hackmii Installer. I recommend that you keep Bootmii since it provides the best possible brick protection (the only thing that can remove it is Nintendoby jbc007 - FixMii
I would use Dop-IOS Mod v10.1, although it probably does not matter. Your SD card should be set up like this: SD:\apps\Dop-IOS Mod\boot.dol, icon.png, meta.xml. It does not matter what the Dop-IOS Mod folder is called; also, the icon and meta only make it easier to find in the Homebrew Channel, they are not necessary. The white screen that you see is probably Priiloader. If it is, does the system menu come up when you select the system menu option? If it does, change the settings in Priiloader to autoboot the system menu. QuoteSifJarhave you tried placing any required files on the root instead of in the application's folder? The files were in the default locations on the SD card. I have made a number of custom channels and have had several issues with them. The most common issue has been a banner brick, which happened every time that I modified the banner (maybe I did something wrong, but it wasn't clear what it could have been). Normally the Homebrew Channel does not appear in the play logs, but if you launch a game or channel from a program (such as Gecko OS) that was launched from the Homebrew Channel, your play time will be reported in the play log as Homebrew Channel. This may be an issue if you send your wii to Nintendo for repair without deleting the play logs, but otherwise it does not matter. Even though the Niby jbc007 - Homebrew General
