QuotelacevDo you just load up gecko os 1.9.3 and just launch the game through there? Yes. Quotelacevor do you have to configure some other stuff? You shouldn't have to mess with the settings unless you're going from NTSC to PAL TV signal. If you're launching a Japanese game on a US Wii/TV you should have no problems just launching it.by bg4545 - Getting Started
Really? Honestly I haven't used the Homebrew Channel in months.. Anyways, make sure your SD card is not "locked"; there is a little switch on the SD that makes it so you cant write to (or remove stuff from) your SD card. EDIT: Ah, so you can delete from the HBC.. nevermindby bg4545 - Getting Started
The Nintendo channel collects that info anonymously so even if they see the Homebrew Channel, they don't know that it's your Wii.by bg4545 - Getting Started
You can't delete apps using the HBC. Why don't you delete them from your computer?by bg4545 - Getting Started

Quotemaaz55u know how my wii is changed to 4.2u, is it possible i can change it back too 4.2e thanks anyone Yeah, use DOP-Mii to install 4.2E System Menu.by bg4545 - FixMii
FYI, "backups" are not to be spoken of here. Mention them again and you will be banned.by bg4545 - Getting Started
First off, use DOP-Mii to install a System Menu and it's IOS. System Menu 4.2 uses IOS70 System Menu 4.0 - 4.1 use IOS60 System Menu 3.4 uses IOS50 System Menu 3.2 - 3.3 use IOS 30 and that's as far back as you should go.. I suggest you install whichever menu version you had before. If you don't know, you should install 4.2 and IOS70/ Remember to do the right region [4.2U is Uby bg4545 - FixMii

QuoteeyeeyemouseWhen you boot the wii, you will see the warning message. After the warning message, your remote can be recognized. My wii only show me black screen. Nothing else. Is that a full brick or my will dead (can't fix anymore) ???? If you can't boot the Homebrew Channel then you're only option would be to launch Comex's NAND Formatter from BootMii.by bg4545 - FixMii
Quotemaaz55thanks is this the right chip?? No, that looks like a regular modchip for 'backups'. @eyeeyemouse BootMii isn't able to recognize Wii remotes; Only GameCube controllers will work in BootMii.by bg4545 - FixMii

They should be synced to the System Menu first. You can't sync Wii remotes in a homebrew app.by bg4545 - Homebrew Applications
Quotecactusjack901QuoteWaxyPumpkin72QuoteSifJarI believe you can use iTunes to set your iPod to enable disk use (or something along those lines, not sure the exact wording in iTunes), which allows you to browse iPod like hard drive. Do that, and I think then it works. Not 100% sure you can do that with iPod Touch though, may only be older iPods... This can't be done on an iTouch. I know, itsby bg4545 - Getting Started
For 4.2 you need Bannerbomb V2 and you go to the SD Menu (little SD icon on the Main Menu) instead of Optionsby bg4545 - Getting Started

Quotesiphorus1. What type of SD Card should I buy? (I plan on running N64, gamecube, SNES, NES, etc. if possible). Really nervous on the size, cause I dont want to buy one thats too small. You should only need to update the Shop Channel and IOS61by bg4545 - Getting Started
You will have to reinstall BootMii afterwards and you should have the latest HBC beforehand.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
The reason they don't work is because the update installed stub IOSes.by bg4545 - Homebrew General

It's not that it's poorly documented, you just have to do more reading. To put apps on the SD card, they must be in their own folder in the 'apps' folder. If you read the README: QuoteThe archive contains a folder named "mplayer_ce" which you will need to copy to your "apps" folder on your SD Card. Once copied over you can launch it using the loader of your choiby bg4545 - Homebrew Applications
Quotewdiddy1. okay so what is the reason to keep an SD card in the wii, do you have to??? How else are you supposed get apps running, from dvd's? Apps are stored on the SD card, so yes you have to. You can't use DVDs. You can however use a USB drive instead of an SD card, but not all apps like being run from USB. Quotewdiddy2.
