I don't know, how do I put it there?by profetylen - Homebrew Applications
Yes! This is really a good game! :)by profetylen - Homebrew Applications
Hi everyone! I am happy to tell you that I have now released a new wii homebrew game called Achtung Wii Kurve. Read about it and download it here: .by profetylen - Homebrew Applications
I agree. I have tried thet signed format and it works :)by profetylen - Coding
QuoteWikiFSXIt means that any bit of human-readable information (pointer names, the like) will be absent, and replaced with something like generic numbers. OK! If i disassemble a thing, will I then get C-code out of it, just replaced variable names with generic numbers? How do I dissassmble it or where can I learn about dissassembling?by profetylen - Software
Quotebg4545No, if I remember correctly, a lot of discs (at least here in the US) have 3.2. You may be right, but I'd be suprised if you could mention a single one!by profetylen - Ideas, requests
You are welcome!! I just have one question: Why didn't you post in the coding section?by profetylen - Offtopic
Ok! What are the tools required? edit: What does it mean that the symbols are stripped?by profetylen - Software
QuoteMattManThat would most likely contain copyrighted code from Nintendo. That is illegal. The only legal way I can think of to do this is to have the program check a disc and see if it has the 3.2 update, and then install it. But what would be the point of that? I think there are no discs with 3.2 on them.by profetylen - Ideas, requests
As far as I know, no. I think the following is the reason: When an array is declared. The variable you declared it to holds a memory adress (example: 45FF19) and memory is allocated from that adress to "the adress + sizeof(int)", if the array is of type int. If you, after declaring the array, declare something else, it might allocate memory direclty after the end of the allocated memory frby profetylen - Offtopic
I don't know how. I was just curios. Disassembling it would mean I would get assembly code out of it, right? In that case, how can you make custom IOSes and such as assembly code is close to impossible to understand?by profetylen - Software
Quotez400100500Uh yeah but it's not so good for SNES games. Did u read the whole of my post? QuoteprofetylenYou could use a classic controller which is very similar to the SNES controller. And the wiimote serves excellent with as a NES controller. Haha, lots of moles :Dby profetylen - Homebrew Applications
Quoteekeekethen you get access to the nunchuk's "orient"structure as usual: exp->nunchuk.orient.yaw exp->nunchuk.orient.roll exp->nunchuk.orient.pitch Hm, from what I can see you use it like this: exp.nunchuk.orient.yaw exp.nunchuk.orient.roll exp.nunchuk.orient.pitch I need no more help on this as everything works now, I just stated this for clarity.by profetylen - Coding
A-ha! Thanks alot ekeeke! Didn't know there was documentation for wiiuse. I've always tried to understand from wiiuse.h.by profetylen - Coding
It has been done for the PSP so if you've got one of those you can play it :Pby profetylen - Ideas, requests
Ok, but still; How can I know the nunchuk orientation?by profetylen - Coding
The internal accelerometer. Has it only one? The wiimote has 2 or am I wrong?by profetylen - Coding
I have figured out how to get the orientiation from the wiimote with WPAD_Orientation(WPAD_CHAN_0, &orient), but how do I get it from the nunchuk?by profetylen - Coding
If I wanted to check out how an IOS is built up. Where do I look?by profetylen - Software
QuotezmanThe only thing one might not like is the fact that you can't use the original controllers, at least not without building yourself an adapter. You could use a classic controller which is very similar to the SNES controller. And the wiimote serves excellent with as a NES controller.by profetylen - Homebrew Applications
TV scanning settings checks are not impemented in libogc, I think. That means, there are no ways to fix it except that changing tour TV setting or implement it in libogc and recompile all the apps you want to use with the new libogc.by profetylen - Getting Started
Ok! Do you know of any app, that I can look at, that uses the wiimote speakers?by profetylen - Coding
Thanks! That worked well! Now I want to make use off the wiimote speakers! I searched the wiki and all i found was this: QuoteSpeaker The Wii Remote has a small low-quality 21mm piezo-electric speaker, used for short sound effects during gameplay. The sound is streamed directly from the host, and the speaker has some adjustable parameters. The speaker is controlled by using three outputby profetylen - Coding
Anyone know of any good wav to pcm converters?by profetylen - Coding
Yes, I noticed libwiigui doing that. Yes, I will also try doing that. Thanks for all the help, everyone! :Dby profetylen - Coding
Regarding the external files: You could just transfer them with ftpii i think.by profetylen - Ideas, requests
That fixed the problem! Thanks alot everyone! The problem is now, I can't play multiple sounds at a time. Is it even possilbe to do that with oggplayer?by profetylen - Coding
@speewave: Yes I have considered to do it that way, but I'd like to keep things "clean" if you know what I mean. Thanks for the tip though and thanks for telling me about the multiple occurances!by profetylen - Coding
