QuoteSifJarThat would make it illegal as it would be using copyrighted sounds. You'd have to find royalty free sounds which are quite similar. Mario sprites are also illegal and there are thousands of Mario games on the internet not made by Nintendo, so I believe, Nintendo wouldn't mind.by profetylen - Ideas, requests
QuoteArikadoHardest thing would be finding all the sounds. What about emulate OoT with Project 64 or something and at the same time run a recording program that records anything that is played by the computer? or have I misunderstood what this thread is about?by profetylen - Ideas, requests
Quotemetroid_maniactrue. Either it goes through IOS (Which I am 90% certain it does) and would have SDHC with 4.0+. Otherwise an Ocarina code (a very long one) would be able to add SDHC. If it goes through IOS. Why hasn't Nintendo just updated that IOS to make it SDHC supportive? edit: maybe I misunderstood you. Do games have SDHC compability if you have system menu 4.0+?by profetylen - Ideas, requests
Do you know where the SDHC code is located. Is it in the .dol or is it handled by an IOS or where is it? QuoteSifJarThere is no way to add sdhc support to an already existing game, without the publisher releasing a new version of the game. There's always a way. If for example the SDHC code is located in the .dol, a very skilled person could make ocarina cheat codes to modify the .dol soby profetylen - Ideas, requests
Yes I know all of that, but I was reffering to an actual wii game not a homebrew game. Sorry for the unclearity.by profetylen - Ideas, requests
What would need to be changed to accompolish SDHC support in a non-SDHC game?by profetylen - Ideas, requests
Your computer won't read Wii DVD AFAIK. (Due to BCA stuff, I think).by profetylen - Software
Once again, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Frets on Fire use Pygame which also needs to be ported to the wii (I think, but is certainly not sure)?by profetylen - Ideas, requests
QuoteSteelSLasherQuotetupaer'Actor' is another term for 'object' as we don't want to completely have all the same names as Game maker. So we just called it Actor for object and scene for room What difference does it make, if the terms were the same would it not be more conveniant I agree! Convenience is better.by profetylen - Coding
Quoteg_manWhy is a radian useful anyway? Simply because if you want to calulate a function's derivative or integral you cannot use degrees and must convert to radians by the definitions of sine and cosine. If you don't know what a derivative or an integral is, read about it here: and here: .by profetylen - Coding

QuoteArikadoSo I assume by "Actor" you mean a Sprite? I think he means the instances of the object "actor".by profetylen - Coding
Changelog: v1.2 - 1 September 2009 Added ir support in the menu. Added support for custom music. Made 3 different levels to adjust rumble intensity. Made 10 different levels to adjust game speed. Fixed some minor graphical errors. That's what's new. In the wiki, this line "v1.2 - 1 September 2009" was named "v1.1a - 1 September 2009" , so the actual changelog was actually onby profetylen - Homebrew Applications
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Frets on Fire written in python?by profetylen - Ideas, requests
Quoteg_manQuotehenke37You can emulate anything with anything. But you can't emulate anything with anything in realtime. But it can be EXTREAMLY hard to emulate anything with a different CPU and that is from the same gen No, not necessarily harder than any other emu. What henke37 is saying is that it's easy to emulate anything with whatever machine you have, but it's hard to makeby profetylen - Offtopic

Ok! There wasn't much discussion here, so I'll make a post. Would the x86 optimized code benefit VBA GX at all? (As the wii doesn't have an x86 processor) What is speed detection? What improvement during saving? Do you know if it's easy to just switch to a later revision?by profetylen - Homebrew Applications
What features and improvements are we talking about? (Couln't find them using google)by profetylen - Homebrew Applications
What virus program do you all use? I've just formatted my computer due to virus problems and I don't want to do it again. Thought I ask here because I don't know where else to ask and this is the greatest forum I know! :)by profetylen - Offtopic
Well, there are ways of playing illegal copies of wii and gamecube games, but none of them are supported here (and the ways are dangerous too, and you may brick (break) your wii if you try to use them). Cheats can be used in both wii and gamecube games without risk of bricking. There is a nintendo 64 emulator in development so you will be able to play N64 games in the future (if the developby profetylen - Getting Started
QuoteMertenNorI love this game :D going to play it now !! Thank you so much :D MertenNor Unfortunately v1.1 contained a crucial bug that caused curves to die when travelling in certain directions. Quoteninjafish1990Smash boards was around since 2006 so I'd say its more "official". If you read at brawlplus.net it actually says "the official brawl+ website". Quoteninjafish1990Plus that is just an info site, where as Smashboards has info as well as a forum. brawlplus.net has a forum as well.
