I use it haha and there's people who are still asking about WADs, backups, etc. even though it says it's not allowed on the first pageby bg4545 - Offtopic
saying "when I start the Homebrew Channel there's only bubbles! What do I do!?" I was thinking maybe the wiki wasn't clear on it but I checked [HBC wiki page] And it's clear that you put apps in the apps folder...by bg4545 - Offtopic
So you have /private/wii... And then /apps//boot file Some apps may need folders on the root, but you should only need the apps and private folderby bg4545 - Getting Started
You should read the first page that says "Discussion of WADs, Backups, and ROMs is NOT ALLOWED!!"by bg4545 - Getting Started
DID YOU READ MY POST? And you shouldn't have WADsby bg4545 - Getting Started
/apps//boot.dol or boot.elf /apps//meta.xml (optional) /apps//icon.png (optional)by bg4545 - Getting Started
Both of those sites are just homebreware! And that WiiUnlock one says all kinds of bs.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
Quotegto_paulThis allows me to play backups ;) Quotegto_paulI would like to copy wad's Quotegto_paulI don't have a proper version of zelda but i'm sure I can download one. reportedby bg4545 - The Junkyard
Quotesmash_legend! :O my Wii has flat screws ... I'm speasal:) That's not possible, i know that some of the screws are regular, but most are tri-wing. I don't know where you're looking ...by bg4545 - Offtopic
The update doesn't have anything to do with the homebrew channelby bg4545 - The Junkyard
Well if it is 3.1 it should still work with homebrew I'm pretty sure they have 3.2 thoughby bg4545 - Getting Started
Animal Crossing City Folk (USA) only installs 3.3 and IOS38, not 3.4by bg4545 - Homebrew General
Hmm... I thought that would work. I guess you could still update with a game like mario kart or super smash bros.by bg4545 - Getting Started
Yeah, I know... We'll see if it worksby bg4545 - Getting Started
ah, i see... i guess you should try turning on WC24, but then that means Nintendo has the legal right to update your system without notifying you (It hasn't been used yet though). I guess you could then turn it off afterwards.by bg4545 - Getting Started
umm I really haven't used AnyRegion Changer in a while so... I think you just need an internet connection, did you try continuing by pressing 1?by bg4545 - Getting Started
here's what you do, 1. Use the Twilight Hack to run AnyRegion Changer (put it as boot.dol on the root of your SD and use the Twilight Hack) 2. Select the option to install 3.2U (I think you need internet for this) 3. Install the Homebrew Channel using the Twilight Hack use this version of the Twilight Hackby bg4545 - Getting Started
No, what you need to do is use only the AnyRegion changer to install 3.2. DO NOT update to 3.4, you cannot downgrade to 3.2. Don't bother with the 'source' folder, just use the .dol file as boot.dol. And the setting replacement tool is only for region settings so don't bother with thatby bg4545 - Getting Started
bushing changed it when you weren't looking :Pby bg4545 - Feedback & Support
AnyRegion changer is pretty easy to use. Just start it and there's an option to install 3.2, just be sure not to mess with the region settings. With 3.4 you can't use (the official) DVDx, which lets you play DVD movies, but I haven't really heard of anything else.by bg4545 - Getting Started
yes, so far I haven't heard of Nintendo bricking/banning homebrewed Wiis. To skip a disc update, you could boot your game with Gecko OS (you can find Gecko OS on wiibrew)by bg4545 - Getting Started
This should help finding what update is on a disc. It won't force you to update if you just put the disc in.by bg4545 - Getting Started
if you choose system update in settings, it will update you to 3.4, so you have to use the AnyRegion Changer or a game with an update to get 3.2by bg4545 - Getting Started
About deleting the HBC, wouldn't the title still be on there if you erase it in the Wii's data management? Like how when you delete a VC/WiiWare game, the title is there so you can re-download. When I deleted the HBC, I used tona's AnyTitle Deleter just to be safe. I deleted all traces of homebrew, like cIOS and the HBC's title (HAXX) and some gamesaves from other regions, rebby bg4545 - Homebrew General
QuoteemukididThere's nothing new, don't bother testing? :) Well with 10 new revisions I assumed something changed =]by bg4545 - Homebrew Applications
1. yup 2. what do you mean by "path"by bg4545 - Offtopic
I compiled rev457 (newest as of 12 hrs ago), but I haven't tested it (I can't) Could someone try it and tell me if it works? REMOVED newer rev below apparently there's nothing noticably new, but it's still here if you want it. (I'm going to assume it works, since no one has spoken up yet...)by bg4545 - Homebrew Applications
Whenever I try to compile Wii64 I get this at the end.
