You don't load apps with BootMii, you load them from the Homebrew Channel.by bg4545 - Getting Started

Purpose: The purpose of this forum is to discuss the creation and use of cheat codes with your Wii software. Ground rules for posting any topic here: If you post a topic here, you have done so because you wish to get started making cheats (follow the guide here: ), you need help with using cheats with your Wii games, or you need help with applications that involve cheats. QuoteEarlABI was thinking that maybe there could be a way to download SPECIFIC Mp3's to an SD Card if it was possible... Possible yes, but would more or less require a homebrew internet browser. QuoteEarlABAlso, a Gamecube Emulator would be nice. What do you say people? The Wii plays Gamecube games. No need for an emulator.by bg4545 - Ideas, requests

You could do the research before you ask the questions you know? The Homebrew Channel turns upside-down if you patch your IOSes (specifically the IOS that the HBC uses). You should never patch your IOSes unless you know what you're doing.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
Once again, are you sure you didn't install anything other than the Homebrew Channel and Wii64? What homebrew apps have you run?by bg4545 - Homebrew General
You get sent to that swf if you don't check the box that says "I certify that my post is not about any of the above". Chrome works for me. Yes it was down and still is messed up but I'm not sure what the problem is. Also, please.hackmii.com was down as well for a few hours I believe.by bg4545 - Offtopic
Those files are not WADs, with NUSD make sure you check the box that says "Pack WAD" and then download it. After you get the WAD, put it on your SD card in a folder called "wad"by bg4545 - FixMii
You could run SysCheck to see what's installed on your Wii, but you should have no problems just using the official updater.by bg4545 - Getting Started
QuotemauifrogYou do it like this Xenoblade Chronicles PAL > NTSC Save editing, How to convert your save between the 2 regions I'm pretty sure my way works just as well and since agoaj is using FE100, he/she has data.bin files and isn't using Savegame Manager GX. Next time don't make vague posts to lead to other sites that you can't link to here.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
I've done it before but it may depend on the game whether it works or not. What you have to do is: 1. Get 2 saves; the save you want to convert and the save that's from your region. 2. Unpack both saves with FE100 (or tachtig from Segher's Wii.git) 3. Take the contents from the save you want to convert (they should be files without an extention, in this game's case "monadoby bg4545 - Homebrew General
Did you already re-install the System Menu? It's unclear whether you're just using Priiloader/BootMii or if you have the System Menu back and cannot access the settings. I think a re-install of the correct system menu with DOP-Mii would do the trick.by bg4545 - Getting Started
QuotestotznokkenWhen I update as you said, do I have to reinstall HBC after updating the Wii System...? Nope, it'll still be there.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
It kind of sounds to me that you're talking about BootMii rather than the Homebrew Channel. This is BootMii: and this is the Homebrew Channel:by bg4545 - Homebrew General
You need to put the resulting file onto an SD card which basically means you need a computer to do it from. If you don't have a computer even if someone sends you the file, how would you put it on the SD card?by bg4545 - Homebrew General
WADs are not supported here. However, it seems like this is a recurring issue with new Wii's and BootMii.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
uLoader is a Wii "backup" loader. Backup loaders are against the rules here so don't mention them again.by bg4545 - Homebrew Applications
No DVDs don't work on current systems. Yes, download the beta one here: (the other file is just the source code).by bg4545 - Homebrew Applications
No need to double-post. Make sure your USB drive is formatted as FAT32 and that your ISO files are in the right folder.by bg4545 - Homebrew Applications
MicroSD cards have more compatibility issues; if you can, try a regular SD card (it can be any capacity but 2GB ones work well)by bg4545 - Homebrew Applications
QuotemauifrogIf all else fails, update to 4.3 online (I don't like 4.3) He can't do that with a semi-bricked Wii though.by bg4545 - FixMii
Use DOP-Mii from here: Run it with Bannerbomb and then install the IOSes mentioned. If your wii does not have Internet then you must put the files on your SD card. I can't make a step-by-step but this page shows generally what you should do:by bg4545 - FixMii
And while you're at it you should install IOS58.by bg4545 - FixMii
Even though it is available for PC, Mac, and Linux my comment still stands that it is made for PCs and cannot just be ported to the Wii. The Wii has a PPC processor and has very little memory compared to PCs. I don't think it can support Java (which is what Limewire uses) and as such cannot support Limewire. You would be better off writing an alternative which does something similar.by bg4545 - Ideas, requests
I haven't looked at it but I assume Limewire was made for PCs and if you were to "port" it to the Wii you would basically have to start from scratch. Just because a project is open-source doesn't mean it will run on any platform.by bg4545 - Ideas, requests
Quoted3m0n1q_733rzAnd requesting pictures on sites that don't allow file uploading or even PMs is easy, uploading them or PMing them is difficult. Go to tinypic.com and upload a picture, then copy the link and post it like so: If it's big then choose to re-size it though, unlike what I just did. Quoted3m0n1q_733rzThere has been an update. This is because the Homebrew Browser has not been updated to support newer Wii remotes. You must wait for the next Homebrew Browser release.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
