There is no technical evidence that Nintendo has, plans to, or is even technically capable of performing auto-updates. Until someone can provide that evidence, there's no use in discussing the subject of auto-updates.by bushing - Software
We are not here to help you install your cIOS. We are here to discuss how the existing IOS works, how it might be changed, etc. Tech support questions belong elsewhere.by bushing - Software
I posted this on the Wiibrew wiki -- but it might get more visibility here. We need three pieces on order to talk the WiFi card from the PPC without using the IOS 'WL' driver: 1) High-level BCM43xx driver 2) Low-level glue to poke at registers on the Wii 3) A way for the PPC to poke at registers that only the ARM side can access. #1 has existed for a while. They're just dummy files which are only needed to make sure that directory gets created. Once you have it set up, you can safely delete them. Hence, "delete me".by bushing - Homebrew General

Yes, those are the ones from 3.3. We'll deal with the BC vs BootMii compatibility issue when we actually release the thing. GameCube mode runs under MIOS.by bushing - Software
This probably won't get fixed until one of us gets ahold of one of these controllers.by bushing - Homebrew General
For reasons not quite clear, the System Menu does not directly load MIOS to boot a GameCube game. Instead, it launches BC, which is almost identical to boot1. The only major difference is that it sets a register which slows down the Hollywood clock speed to that of the Flipper (found in the GC). When boot2 runs, it checks that clock speed; if it's in the slower mode, it starts MIOS instby bushing - Software
Quotemetroid_maniacdoes savemii update from standard games? I just thought it accepted autoboot (0xxx or 1xxx) discs On System Menu >= 3.0, it will install updates from normal discs. This is not the case on 2.x; no clue why.by bushing - Software
