Quotedirtrider73068If this could be done it would be cool. Though the hard part is getting it, the wii to transmit to the remote and the remote being a receiver, I am not much of a coder or have a high knowledge like some the other guys, but I don't think it will work, doubt the remote is set up like that, but a good idea to say the least. That wouldn't be the problem, the real problem iby g_man - Ideas, requests
There is a mode on the gba that allows a gba to download and run code without the need for a game pack. This is you could play two player games with one cartridge. I was wondering if it would be possible to send the required data to the gba with the gba to gamecube connector. I know that the cord was made for doing this kind of function, but I was wondering if someone could point me in the rightby g_man - Ideas, requests
try using a debugger, that way you would know exactly what your problem is.by g_man - Coding
Try running your program and comment out the gx part. That will tell you if the problem is with gx.by g_man - Coding
Can you post all of your code. Also, are you sure that the problems with FAT, and not some other part of your code.by g_man - Coding
Just a comment for the future, when you enter code, you can delete the > < signs from the include statements. We know you have them in there.by g_man - Coding
if you wrote your application in C then it shouldn't be too hard to port. As long as you only used the standard library functions. The wii's processor isn't as strong as a normal CPU, so the application would take more like 5-6 days to complete. I don't know about multithreading or if it is even possible. But again, i don't know.As for leaving the wii on, if it breaks yoby g_man - Getting Started
There is a method for installing on a 4.3, but it isn't for the faint of heart. On the other hand, you coul wait a week and there will most likely be a new hackmii installer.by g_man - Getting Started
this is a complete guess as to the savegame question, but try adding a - after 00001000.by g_man - Homebrew General
Are you sure that your disk isn't damaged? I think that might be the problem.by g_man - FixMii
As more of a general question, how do people find the documentation of the part of the wii. do you dump the IOS and look through the assembly code to try and get an idea of the specific code does? Or, is it more of a guess and check method?by g_man - Getting Started
I believe you can have multiple targets, but I'm not at my house so i can't look at the rest of the makefile to be certain.by g_man - Coding
This has been suggested too many times. please use the search function. As for linux there is a python version that can be run from the command line.by g_man - Ideas, requests
There is nothing unsafe about updating through nintendo, and creating a homebrew method of updating would just be no safer than nintendo's way. The only reason bricks were happening was because people would lose power while updating boot2, causing a brick. If you really don't want to use nintendo;s updater you can use DOP-Mii.by g_man - Ideas, requests
have you tried running DOP-Mii and installed a vulnerable IOS. I believe a common one to install the vulnerability on is 36(somebody confirm this please).by g_man - FixMii
It sounds like you SD card is failing to read sometimes. This could be because of too many uses. Possibly. Does this happen with any other SD card.by g_man - FixMii
What if they modified an IOS that checks the title ID of the disk during an SD read and 1: If no custom stages were found then a dummy stage would be made. One that was as basic as possible so it took up as little memory as possible. It could also be compressed take up less memory. 2:They could also check for the brawl save on the SD and either delete it, or not load it. 3:Or during the code tby g_man - Getting Started
Refirmating might help. At the least it can't hurt. What type of sd is it? And have you tried using it with other apps the utilize the sd card?by g_man - Homebrew General
the < problem is in the way the forum was programmed. It is an unavoidable problem. you'll have to just get used to it.by g_man - Coding
was it one that was downloaded through nintendo's servers? If so, just turn the option to get a custom stage everyday off. then wait until tomarrow, or restarting the game might also delete it. After you use SS then you can turn the option back on.by g_man - Getting Started
I have this problem with the tutoral files too. I isn't a problem with libwiisprite. But just to make sure compile this code: #include stdio.h> #include stdlib.h> #include string.h> #include malloc.h> #include gccore.h> #include wiiuse/wpad.h> #include fat.h> #include ogc/gx.h> #include wiisprite.h>. // libwiisprite usesby g_man - Coding
QuoteWikiFSXQuoteg_manYeah, i just tried to change the only instance of JODI in the arm file, and no luck. You'd have to do it in the ppc file, I think. I remember some people were successfully able to do that a while back.I ran a search in the PPC file, and there was no instance of the string JODI. I think what other people did was create a new ppcboot.elf file.by g_man - Offtopic
Quotejbc007Quoteflayer6Curious as to whether anyone has removed the channel, did the update to 4.3, then reinstalled the channel? Is that even possible? What were your results? Thank you. Most likely, the system menu somehow checks for and automatically deletes the Homebrew Channel every time it boots, so that probably would not work with the current version of the HBC. yah, but it could be used as sort of a backup incase you have a sibling that updates it for you. I see the title id in both the tmd file, and the folder name. I will check if it's in the other files in the folder, but I don't think so. How risky would it be to try and change these? I would make a bootmii backup before. Also, if I wanted bootmii to still boot the HBC, I would have to seby g_man - Offtopic
How hard would it be to make an app that just modifies the title id of the HBC then. That way people can keep the HBC when they update and wont have to go back through the Hackmii installer, which doesn't work right now anyways. Isn't the title id just a string in a file. That shouldn't be that hard to modify.by g_man - Offtopic
for file size you can look here I'm sorry i can't help you with IOS, I don't know that much about them.by g_man - Coding
That's odd. If MINI is like IOS then it should have access to the same devices. It's not like there is some software in place blocking access, but a USB driver isn't neccesarily an easy thing to write.by g_man - Homebrew General
