The internet connection settings have nothing to do with any of these issues. I've been told by multiple people that the HBB didn't update the directory settings with the latest WiiDOOM release causing it to crash. I recommend completely uninstalling it from your SD Card and manually installing it. Regarding the emulators, I stick to my original suggestion of manually updating theby Arikado - Getting Started
These issues are all independent of each other. There is no correlation between them. Quote WiiDoom: Always had a DSI error when loading You have the wrong set-up on your SD Card. QuoteDesmostikIs there any way to get a usb working on wii64 or Wiisx? Just set it up on a fat32 partition on your usb drive like you would with an SD Card. zeveroth: But to answer his question would mean that someone else would have to waste the same amount of time for him. WiiSX runs most games at full speed and continues to get better every day. If you can't figure out how to use it (seriously, the README is so nice) then there is no hope for you no matter how many PS1 emulators are made.by Arikado - Ideas, requests

Nintendo doesn't give any information beyond noting that its an error related to online play: Based on what you're saying I'm going to guess that it's an error with you internet set-up. I'd like to know do you have any problems connecting to the internet in homebrew? If not, then I'll have to go back to the drawing board. Working on it with drkIIRaziel. Initial release probably no earlier than this August. Yes, fullspeed is possible (I didnt believe it either originally -- oh the wonders of dynarec emulation)by Arikado - Ideas, requests
QuotetueidjA USBGecko doesn't use the wii's USB ports (unless you're doing it wrong). It uses the EXI bus which doesn't really require any background management. In layman's terms, you plug one end into a GC memory card port on your Wii and the other end into a USB port on your pc. Not sure if HBB has the latest release on their servers yet. Anyways, I changed all of the directories in the new release. If you still have sd:/prboom/ you need to update to the new ones.by Arikado - Homebrew Applications
Source has been out since before the projects were ever even released officially. See the checkout tab on the google code pages (browse would work too). Anyone who makes any progress with them will immediately be added as a member to the SVN if they wish.by Arikado - Ideas, requests
For the moment, Hexen, Heretic, and DOOM are all on the backburner while I work on my emulators. As far as I'm concerned they are complete ports that work as well as they are ever going to without significant engine rewrite (which all of your suggestions above would force me to do). Not being lazy; They just don't interest me enough to continue to develop them right now.by Arikado - Ideas, requests
Isn't AHBPROT part of IOS 58? ( I mean, if it wasn't, DOP-Mii: WiiBrew Edition wouldn't work - We IOS_ReloadIOS() all the time...).by Arikado - Coding

This is generally how I do it: First I rip the ISO from the game disc I wish to hack. There are tons of tools for Wii homebrew that can do this for you. However, most of them also let you play pirated copies of games so I'm going to have to ask you to google for one (unless someone else knows of one). Actually, this just popped up right after I posted. Use this: After I have the ISOby Arikado - Coding

This is my best attempt at writing a simple guide to help people get started developing cheat codes which can be used during the play of commercial Wii video games to both make the experience of playing much simpler and more enjoyable. Please use cheat codes responsibly, do not cheat online and ruin the gameplay experience for others. If there are any inaccuracies, problems, or improvements thby Arikado - Cheat Codes
I ported it 95% of the way. Theres one linking error with SDL that I dont understand telling me theres multiple definitions of main. Also, Im not sure how image/resources loading works. If its loaded from a buffer, the makefile will need to be changed to compile the Image folder in the source into data. If images/resources are loaded externally, you'll need to hardcode: const char *Paby Arikado - Ideas, requests
