How can I chek the IOS revision loaded? I know I could print it off with prinf (iosrevision); or something like that. And use an if something == revnumber ? Would this work? and if not how would I? (Excuse fail typing)by pokeglobe - Coding
I am having a big issue with this. It says Installing ticket... then goes to Setting revision to 0. It just hangs while showing that. Any help would be awesome.by pokeglobe - Getting Started
I'll give it a shot when I get my new DVD burner. Thanks for the help.by pokeglobe - FixMii
In my opinion I think I have a chance. I updated from 3.3u to 4.0u using waninkoko's updater. (I failed before) Doesn't that install a trucha patched IOS60? I could have sworn it did. If it did. I am in the clear. I think I installed cIOScrap afterwards. I got a savemii working. (4.0 USA) So am I in the green zone?by pokeglobe - FixMii
I broke my sister's wii a few months ago. It has 4.0u and possibly cIOScrap. Does savemii have autoboot instead of udating? Like if I put in an autoboot Anytitle deleter... would it boot it? It was updated to 4.0 using waninkoko's updater (Yeah, I know) and I installed a custom wad. If I don't have cIOScrap is it okay to ask what kind of modchip has autoboot? It's coolby pokeglobe - FixMii
I know this is possible. I have done it before. I want to know how I can't change the console color to white and text to black. I am having a really hard time with it. Even if I can get help making a half assed one...by pokeglobe - Coding
I need to know because I broke it. It has error 002 :S Launched with geckoOS it just freezes. Same goes for internet channel. Does anybody know them?by pokeglobe - Getting Started
Looks like he themed it. Or had some custom channels? Looks like a banner brick to me. If that's the case... You are pretty much screwed. You cannot boot an autoboot disk unless you have an autoboot modchip. So if you got an autoboot modchip run savemii and pop in the autoboot homebrew disk. (AnyTitle Deleter?) Hope my information was somewhat useful.by pokeglobe - FixMii
Weird.. I'll look at it. Thanks.by pokeglobe - Testing Corner
It never worked for me. AFAIK it doesn't. I had a hell of a time with getting unbricked. Nobody ever told me how the settings install went. Still looking for testers.by pokeglobe - Testing Corner
It installs setting.txt aswell. It's basicly an all in one. If you were to just install the menu if you deleted it, it wouldn't do anything. You would still need setting.txt installed afterwards. :)by pokeglobe - Testing Corner
Runs on bootmii? I don't quite get what you mean there. You would also need HBC access. So it runs from HBC and restores your menu. So it would use whatever IOS apps run with.by pokeglobe - Testing Corner
Updated the first post. It is wad less now!by pokeglobe - Testing Corner
Gecko never installed it for me. :/ the only risk I would see is the ios not installing correctly (shouldn't) it wont brick you.by pokeglobe - Getting Started
I thought so, Sorry bout that. :)by pokeglobe - Offtopic
Backups are not supported here. (Just like on the homepage!) Yes you can update. Just use the latest hackmii installer. PS: Gecko OS Wont play backups.by pokeglobe - Getting Started
This has probably been discussed time and time again but I thought I could make my own topic.:) As far as I know an emulator can run "Backup GBA/NDS/Bla bla bla" When a backup loader loads "Backup" wii games. I really do not see the difference. (I know the rules just states NO but still.) They both load a backup of something is what I am getting at. So why Support possible ROM piracy butby pokeglobe - Offtopic
If they don't require an IOS (Gecko will act up and tell you what one is needed.) that you don't have it should. Your best bet would be to try. Nothing should go wrong. Good luck!by pokeglobe - Getting Started
Using Gecko OS will NOT brick your wii. As far as I know, anything downloaded from the homebrew browser is safe. If you mean the Homebrew Channel you must download the Homebrew Browser (2 different things) If you don't want to use the Homebrew browser, get the apps on wiibrew wiki and follow the homebrew setup tutorial for where to put the apps. Good Luck!by pokeglobe - Getting Started
Why would you want to do this?by pokeglobe - Getting Started
Wavepad can edit/save sounds in almost any format. It's free and very small. (Google)by pokeglobe - Offtopic
I'll try it out thanks! I am trying to make a game disk loader/movie loader. But it wont load (Due to GUI) the raw console based code worked fine. It compiles fine. This is my attempt at unloading the GUI. int i; for(i = 0; i < 255; i += 15) { mainWindow->Draw(); Menu_DrawRectangle(0,0,screenwidth,screenheight,(GXColor){0, 0, 0, i},1); Menu_Render(); } bgMusic->Stby pokeglobe - Coding
It's just like any other wii channel. So games will be fine.by pokeglobe - Getting Started
I had in mind it did what LU64 Wiis do. Patches it so it can't be installed. My bad.by pokeglobe - Getting Started
Doesn't the update kill bootmii as boot2 though? Why is everyone saying it's ok to update if that's the case?by pokeglobe - Getting Started
It wont be a public app. I am just learning coding and have nothing better to do. I have boot2v3 I think and LU10 So I am good. (4.2 Updated with a tool I made with patchmii) Thanks for everyone's help! (Better then most forums!) Edit: my guess for the old IOS versions still up there is updates?by pokeglobe - Coding
I don't mind downgrading. My wii is just for dev.by pokeglobe - Coding
