My parents are strict about what i can and can't play, so i've never played assassins creed. :( i'd like to, though. My friend says its dumb "Because there aren't any guns". I think thats dumb. :Pby WaxyPumpkin72 - Offtopic
I'm pretty sure you can only use the power/reset/eject buttons if you installed it as boot2. the reason i didn't mention it is because i assumed you have a newer wii, meaning you would need to install it as an IOS. Sorry. :Pby WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Okay then. i don't really have a problem with the core gameplay. i like it. :P i guess thats just your choice.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Offtopic
To navigate bootmii you need a gamecube controller. There will be 4 little square to choose from. Either boot to system menu, boot to homebrew, view SD card files, and a little settings icon. You can use the Gamecube's D-pad to move left and right, and you use the A button to select.Select the settings icon if you want to backup your NAND. I'm not really sure exactly what information yoby WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
I don't think there are any extra things you need to know before installation. Just go ahead and do it! About bootmii installation, it depends on how old your console is. if you got it, say, mid-'08, then you can install it as boot2, making it so that instead of booting straight to the system menu, it will boot to bootmii! If you have a newer wii though, you'll need to install it aby WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Yeah, when playing the campaign on halo, i found it to be kind of lame. I guess the story's cool, but that's not what i necessarily like about halo. Multiplayer is what i think makes halo so beastly!! There're a buttload of game modes, and its really fun to play with friends. Forging is another thing i really like about halo. Lol, i like making cheap maps to play with my friend, anby WaxyPumpkin72 - Offtopic
QuoteWaxyPumpkin72Poo, so you can't use an update to help yourself. I guess reinstalling the system menu might help, but the wiimote not connecting sounds like a bluetooth problem. I don't know how to fix that. just like i said in the first place.by WaxyPumpkin72 - FixMii

Yeah, but some stuff won't work. What is your current firmware? Edit: if you're currently on 3.4/3.3v2, then you may as well update. if you're on 3.2/3.3v1, then it would be better if you didn't update. :Dby WaxyPumpkin72 - Homebrew General
Uh, its pretty straight forward. Go launch mario kart throuch gecko os, and then unlock some characters/karts/tracks and then save it. then try to copy it over again.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Offtopic

Uhh,if it worked, then when you turn off your wii and then turn it back on instead of booting to the system menu, it will boot to a new menu called bootmii. From there you can choose to launch the homebrew channel or the system menu. Try turning off your wii and then turning it back on to see if it boots to bootmii instead the system menu. Tell me your results. :Dby WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Quotesalzeta:- then third thing i didnt install was the bootmii. but i try to install it and i dont think it installs. the homebrew channel has an uninstall underneath it and so does the dvdx but bootmii doesnt. it says its success at installing it but i dono lol any help with that part too??? If you have a newer wii, then bootmii needs to be installed as an IOS. If you have an older wii(mid-20by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Actually, you don't burn them to a disk. All you need to do is make an apps folder on the root of your sd card, and then put the folder of whatever app you're using in the apps folder. Also, make sure that there is a boot.dol file inside whatever app you're using. It should look like this: ROOT:/apps/the app you're using/boot.dol,etc. Hope that answers your question. Right on!! I like forging!! xD @Arikado: Why do you think halo is generic and boring?by WaxyPumpkin72 - Offtopic
This happens with some games. All you need to do is get the Gecko OS application. Go to rebooter options, and turn "Remove copy flags" on/yes. Then reboot the wii with the rebooter option, and you should be able to copy it. You can also use this app to apply codes to games and boot import games Edit: Yeah, you can connect without fear of bricking your wii.
