Micro SD and SDHC cards have really bad compatibility rates which is the fault of no one but the manufacturers who for the most part produce really crappy cards. Bunnie wrote a great article about this phenomenon here: The Wii (and perhaps even more so, libfat) is particularly sensitive. This explains the completely nonsensical things you are witnessing (like there's no good reason why deleby Arikado - Homebrew Applications
I actually made a bunch of more changes because I ended up having some more time :P I imported in my usb gecko drivers and fixed up the sdl stuff. Now the problem lies in the W_AddFile function it seems. I'm literally running out the door as I write this, so I'll upload my next build with an edit to this post when I get home from my job. Edit:by Arikado - Ideas, requests
I finally had time to continue working on this today (still no responses from anyone btw). I painstakingly took care of all the linking errors using the NDS and iPhone ports of Hexen for a little bit of inspiration to properly build the project. I had to make some major source changes in a few areas but I'm pretty sure I'm on the right track. Now the program compiles. When I run iby Arikado - Ideas, requests

You're really not providing enough information here for me to even understand what your problem is.by Arikado - Getting Started
We don't support Wii Game Studio because it is illegally sold and the author has proven himself to be a rather (to put it nicely) rude person on our forums.by Arikado - Homebrew Applications
I've spent a couple of days porting Hexen over to the Wii. I'm rather new to porting (though thanks to scanff, desmume, and supertux, I do have a handful of experience) and this is a fairly challenging port compared to what I've already been exposed to (yes, I am saying that DeSmuME was more straightforward ;p ). I am stuck with some linker errors and hoping someone can help me toby Arikado - Ideas, requests

Its IOS 202 thats causing the problems. Tantric released a broken version of it by mistake. He will correct it very soon. In the meantime, use an SD Card instead.by Arikado - Homebrew Applications
Quoteheadfirst4halos EDIT: just one last thing regarding bootmii: Is it okay to update bootmii to beta 5 without first doing an uninstallation of the previous version? Yes.by Arikado - Homebrew General
Install an unpatched IOS 30 v1040 with DOP-Mii and then run the installer again.by Arikado - Homebrew Applications
Quoteheadfirst4halosNone of them asked for an update and bootmii was always accessible And yes, again, that's perfectly normal under about a million different circumstances of which at least one obviously applies to you.by Arikado - Homebrew General
A disc read error is your own fault. It means your disc drive is dirty. You're freezing is probably caused by not removing smashstack.by Arikado - Getting Started
Wait for the next release. It's not compatible with the 4.3 system menu installed at the moment.by Arikado - Homebrew General
Yeah, it's a problem with 4.3 causing a sort of crash. Most likely your gamecube controller won't work either. Lunatik told me he knows how to fix it so hopefully he'll do so soon.by Arikado - Homebrew Applications
Yeah, it can be a bit hard to find locally since it's a bit old. Try looking in the used games section of your local video game retailer or try looking online. Also, you can use an NTSC copy of Brawl in lieu of Lego Indiana Jones. Hopefully new exploits will be released to widen the amount of games which can be used.by Arikado - Offtopic
Quotecorey89@Arikado Just curious if you started working on the port of Reality Boy, I remember you mentioned you had started coding something some time ago. It's got some stuff ported (input) and other stuff that still needs to be ported. About 30% complete. I stopped working on it publicly and am currently only working privately in order to avoid making tons of commits. However, I cby Arikado - Ideas, requests
Run loadmii via an exploit (bannerbomb, indiana pwns, etc.)by Arikado - Ideas, requests
Make sure the IOS you load in the beginning has the NAND Permissions enabled. Your IOS 249 might not have it.by Arikado - Homebrew Applications
Well, then, as I said in my previous post, you'll be fine when the new installer comes out since you have smash stack.by Arikado - Homebrew General
Well you're waiting, you should probably go out and buy a copy of Lego Indiana Jones for Wii as you'll need it to run the future hackmii installer (you can also run homebrew with it while you wait). Alternatively, if you live in North America, you can use a copy of Super Smash Brothers Brawl.by Arikado - Homebrew General
