No, it's on the Wii unit itself. Pop open the cover on the SD card slot. There should be a little rectangular button; that's the turbo boost. It works on GameCube games, too.by BitLooter - Homebrew Applications
WiiSX is better. It's tuned for the Wii, whereas PCSX-Revolution is just a quick port of the PC version.by BitLooter - Homebrew Applications
QuoteICEingAnd anyone got an answer to my second question? Say if I download a song (Lets say a Linkin Park song) as a mp3, how do I convert it to a .mod file? change the extension? Like I have a song right now on my desktop its a .m3u file. When I changed it to loop.mod and put it in the apps folder and enabled "backround music" in the settings option on the Homebrew Browser I got a code dump :(by BitLooter - Homebrew General
The same place you got your Famicom games. Don't ask about ROMs in here.by BitLooter - Homebrew Applications
ImgBurn is a good tool for ripping disc images. Make sure you dump it as a .bin.by BitLooter - Homebrew Applications
QuoteI.S.T.Trust me, it didn't emulate those games well... My memories are probably colored by age, but I know it worked well enough that I would actually play games with it and not constantly curse the computer for being so slow. I don't know if you ever used Bleem, but it was a great piece of software for what it did. It's a damn shame they got shut down by Sony so early, especiaby BitLooter - Homebrew Applications
QuoteDanielHuehoEDIT: tech question, for anybody who understand this stuff: PSX emulation is kinda of lightweight, right? AFAIK, PCs could emulate the console with Pentium II and less than 64 MB of ram, with interpreters, not recompilers. How fast can be the interpreter mode on WiiSX? For the record, I have successfully emulated games at playable speeds (with sound) on a Pentium-233 with 48MB oby BitLooter - Homebrew Applications

It's possible you could somehow have a board, but not the game. Besides, a dedicated app could be more versatile - just think of all the times you've needed to know your weight in Newtons, but were out of luck because the bathroom scale industry continues to ignore this potential market! I'm always amazed by people who seem to have the mental capacity to write in forums, but somehow lack the ability to read them. Take a closer look at the main forum page. By BitLooterby BitLooter - The Junkyard
That's the program I remember. I remember finding it on a shareware disc, but this looks exactly how I remember it. Thanks for the link.by BitLooter - Homebrew Applications
I once had a Windows program that put an icon of a brick in the system tray. Whenever you felt it necessary, all you had to do was click the icon to pick up a brick, and then click on the screen to throw a brick at it. It would leave a big gaping hole in the screen, and cracks in the glass all around it. Might be neat to add something like that to this program.by BitLooter - Homebrew Applications
*facepalm* You're right, I forget it's just a couple of infrared LEDs on a stick. I should have known, I've read how to build them - I've even heard of people using candles instead of LEDs. I hope you get this sorted out, I'm really interested in knowing what could possibly cause this...by BitLooter - Homebrew General

Try reformatting the USB stick and see if that fixes it.by BitLooter - Homebrew Applications
Are you sure it froze up? It can take over half an hour for some games to load. Let it sit for a while and see if anything happens. Actually, my best advice for MAME on Wii: don't. It's not worth it, wait for a real port.by BitLooter - Homebrew Applications
Not an expert on the EULAs, but I can help with the other questions... 3. N64 games are still not emulated very well, so you'll need the Virtual Console games for those. And don't forget about the WiiWare games. 4. If you want to use Starfall or Trucha-signed discs, then yes. Otherwise, there's no reason. 5. I think you should edit that question out and pretend you didnby BitLooter - Getting Started
Yes, you need the Wii version. GC version does not have access to the Wii hardware, therefore cannot be used for this.by BitLooter - Homebrew General
