I wanted to do this a while ago and found no help. However, I also wanted to the reverse and think I found some utility which converts PJ64 saves so that they can be used on wii64, so I'm guessing that someone would need to make a utility to do that (AFAIK).by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
It's not just you. I noticed that too, and I didn't figure out a workaround, but since it is pretty rare and doesn't prevent you from completing the game, I just tried to ignore it.by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
I tried playing with a nunchuk + wiimote, and can't get a speedboost. Can anyone post a game + control scheme with which you can get the speed boost in vbagx?by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
I'm not able to get that boost at all. I also tried playing Mother 3, and it doesn't work in that either. I don't have a classic controller. And I believe I have the latest version.by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
The wiki shows that VBA GX should have a turbo mode (which I assume means making the game run fast), but I haven't been able to get it to work. I am using just a wiimote, holding A+B. Button mappings don't reflect this setting, but according to the wiki, that's the default. Does anyone know about this? Thanks.by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
Does anyone know a way to transfer saved games (or even states) from another emulator to Wii64? That way I could transfer a save that has everything unlocked in certain games, or continue playing them, on Wii64. I tried transferring a .eep and mpk from PJ64 (after renaming it), but it didn't work. Wii64 doesn't detect the save files. Thanks. This works for sra files.by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
Wow, this is a great release. Smash bros. is working basically perfectly.by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
Also maybe try plugging in the video cables to somewhere else on the TV - that might work if the above answer doesn't.by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
Nice. I hope the speed improves, too.by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
Is Nintendo still offering the free NES game? I haven't gotten around to it yet, and now I'm thinking I'll upgrade my system from 3.2 to 4.2, update the shop channel, and get the free game. Sounds like a plan?by Ibrewii - Offtopic
Around a year ago I got Quake on wiibrew to work with the fullversion, but sometime since then I updated, and now it only lets me play the one episode, and says for the rest I need the full version. I have pak1.pak and pak0.pak. Can someone explain where to put them?by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
I am really not sure, but maybe you have a corrupted SD card. If you have Vista and put it in it might prompt to reformat it or something. Not sure.by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
I just tried version r3xx? and Super Mario 64 had some serious graphic glitches and audio was distorted. I'm still impressed at the direction it's going (it wasn't too slow). But it wasn't anything like the april 1st video.by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
QuoteArikado the emulator is in a position where it is running some games at full speed. Which ones? Are those the same as listed 'playable' on the compatibility list? Like Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Goldeneye 007, Mission Impossible, Duke Nukem 64 ...by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
Is there a way to load and play games without a keyboard? Like put somewhere in the config file the location of the game to automatically load?by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
I can't wait until this is finished! I just hope it includes a way to map keys to wiimote buttons - for those who don't have/want to use a keyboard, since many DOS games only use arrow keys, CTRL, and ALT anyway.by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
When Nintendo releases the wii motion plus, do you think that an update will be forced to use it, or by games which use it?by Ibrewii - Offtopic
It does have a DOS version (the latest 2.10), but 2.5 will be coming out, and I don't know if that will be for DOS. I don't know of anyone working on dosbox for HB. You shouldn't really need a keyboard since the only buttons you'd need to play (not the editor) are A, B, and arrow keys. A sideways wiimote should work if someone could map keys to buttons.by Ibrewii - Offtopic
Zelda Classic is a windows program that allows users to create 'quests' based on the original LoZ. They can edit graphics, maps, basically anything. There are tons of existing quests; many of them are great quality. I know it's a longshot, but I'm just putting the idea out there if anyone is interested in making it a homebrew app (just for playing the quest files, not the eby Ibrewii - Offtopic
Sorry - since the question was already I answered I didn't feel like it would be a problem.by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
I have 2 problems with vba gx: 1. Warioware twisted never leaves the 'calibrating' 'don't move your gameboy' screen. Is there something I should know? 2. The games all seem to get cut off a little at the bottom and top (I don't have a widescreen or LCD tv). I saw something about video zooming - is this the fix, and how do I zoom out? Great job, otherwise!by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
The first time I fired up 4.0 I clicked on super mario world - my wiimote's pointer works and the all of my games show up. I can scroll through them, but whenever I click on something nothing happens. there's no way to go back to the homebrew channel or load a game - I have to press the power button. After resetting, I realized that other games worked - it must be that one game thatby Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
There are save states built in. From memory, I think you can press the home button which brings you to the menu, and then there should be an option to freeze the state. Later you can load the state.by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
I know there is a head tracking demo on the homebrew browser, but I could never get it to work. Even if it did, I could tell it wasn't as interesting as the original stuff from the youtube videos with the targets, etc. Is there a newer version or better app that involves headtracking?by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
I looked into it and downloaded for the PC. I would love to see this on wii homebrew. apparently even for PC online play isn't working yet.by Ibrewii - Ideas, requests
Can other homebrew apps use the network?by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
I remember that Conker's BFD didn't work well even in PJ64 for a long time.by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
I know what happened. I had this exact same problem. It was happening for my Super mario brothers 3 channel (through virtual console). For some reason, my cable box was not taking the video signal only when playing certain emulators. I plugged it back in to the TV directly and it works. I'm sure this will work for you. It's just kind of annoying to have to switch. Does anyone know exby Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
When I first got homebrew a few months ago I installed that headtracking demo thru the browser - but it didn't work right and I deleted it. Even if it did work like it seemed like it was supposed to, a version with more features would be nice. But I guess it's not in development anymore.by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
Although I would look forward to netplay mainly for wii64 (goldeneye!), I think it would be longer until that can come than netplay for SNES or NES could be achieved. Any idea if netplay is being considered for any older consoles?by Ibrewii - Homebrew Applications
