If you used anyregionchanger, what region was it originally? Sorry, I've been gone for soooooo long. :)by JjStAr - FixMii
Hey, What are the IOS 80 versions for all SysMenu 4.3 regions? I just need them so I can remember. I always forget :) and the WiiBrew doesn't have any info. Thanks!by JjStAr - Homebrew General
Simple. You downloaded a dodgy theme. Unless BootMii is installed into boot2 and you have a NAND backup, there's nothing you can do.by JjStAr - FixMii
Hey snakeman2058, Is there an SD card in the Wii? If there is, try removing it. The outdated Bannerbomb exploit may be on the card, although I have no idea as to why it crashes so early into the boot... Anyways, try. If it fixes your problem, I can help you remove the exploit (and install Homebrew if you want it :) )by JjStAr - FixMii
Try using Format System in setting (assuming you have access to that) or try Comex's NAND Fotmatter. I can't give instructions on how to use that, maybe the more experienced members can help.by JjStAr - FixMii
Hi Karanzs, What is the region of your Wii? Although, I'm not sure if you can semi brick a Wii just by playing a game. You must have installed a disk update. If you tell me what your Wii's region is, I can help you. EDIT: Wait, do you have Homebrew?by JjStAr - FixMii
QuoteGrimsladeJust to clarify, are you talking about the idea of downgrading and re-updating? You say 'not possible' but I'm not 100% clear on what exactly you are referring to. I'm referring to downgrading and updating. It's possible with HBC, but it's extremely risky if you don't know what to do. Comex's NAND Formatter is much safer. EDIT: Wait, do yby JjStAr - Homebrew General
Hey guys, So I downloaded EWL. I had some initial problems, but I fixed them. I load it up with Bootmii, works fine. I load the Wi-fi Configurator, and I see I need a keyboard. I open up VK and I press Return, but nothing happens. What's going on? Am I doing something wrong? The main reason I got EWL was so I can get Homebrew apps without going to the computer. I need help! Thx in advaby JjStAr - Wii Linux
Not possible. Re-Homebrew and use Comex's NAND Formatter. I can't give specific instructions on how to use that, maybe someone else knows how to use it.by JjStAr - Homebrew General
Try updating manually. Download it from WiiBrew and load it onto your SD.by JjStAr - Getting Started
Try manually updating the Homebrew Brower by downloading it from WiiBrew and putting it on your SD card.by JjStAr - Getting Started
Um... What exactly do you mean? It looks like you're trying to make an RC car with Wiimote as a remote. In that case, this isn't the place to ask. The Hardware section would've more appropriate.by JjStAr - Getting Started
Even with DVDX (or whatever it's called) the Wii probably couldn't read those discs. They're too new for the Wii.by JjStAr - Getting Started
Ok. If I used a 4gb SD Card for only BootMii and EWL, will there be enough space for a Ubuntu partition on the same card? EDIT: Bumpby JjStAr - Wii Linux
It's fine. It just adds capability for the Wii U Transfer Tool. And a Wii Shop update.by JjStAr - Homebrew General
Priiloader is the best form of brick security out there, besides BootMii as boot2. Holing down RESET as you power on your Wii will take you to the Priloader Menu, which can take you to Wii Menu, HBC or BootMii. You can Autoboot, too.by JjStAr - Homebrew Applications
AFAIK: 1. If you mess with anything you don't know how to use, you may brick. Most are repairable, but Full Bricks are unrepairable unless you have BootMii as boot2. 2. You can hack your Wii U in Wii Mode to use custom tracks. It is possible to do it without hacking, although you can only run 1 HBC app at a time. Use LetterBomb to hack your Wii if you choose to go down that line. 3. Noby JjStAr - Getting Started
We don't support backups here. As for HBC, may have been something to do with loaders. You probably have no vulnerable IOSs, so replacing HackMii installer with DOP-Mii and changing an IOS(36, maybe?) version. That may not be the case, but most of the time it is.by JjStAr - Homebrew General
@Pissedoffguy: What SD card are you using?by JjStAr - Getting Started
Alright then... This may seem a bit far out, but what about setting it up with EWL?by JjStAr - Wii Linux
Is this possible to to with a Windows? At the start you said: Quoteq885A computer running Linux. Or can you use a Mac instead? EDIT: Quote glichedby JjStAr - Wii Linux
Good guide! I love it! Just one thing: How do you put these WADs on your Wii?by JjStAr - Homebrew General
Quotesyc20099But some SD cards are not compatible. If SD card has a lot of capacity, it might not work. But lot of SD cards will compatible. Here is the SD card compatibility list . AFAIK, all SD cards work. I have a SanDisk 4gb an it works fine. EDIT: That's a Lexar, not SanDisk EDIT 2: That list is for BootMii and NAND backups. That means nothing in this case.by JjStAr - Getting Started
All SD Cards are compatible.by JjStAr - Getting Started
Ok... Do I need to redo Letterbomb to update?by JjStAr - FixMii
Really? I never get update notifications. Does anyone know why? I'm connected to the Internet, so I find that a bit strange.by JjStAr - FixMii
IOS are system files for the Wii. cIOS are modified files, used mainly for piracy. MIOS is for the GameCube mode. It must load GameCube games. I don't think cMIOS exists.by JjStAr - Software
Owen's right. The USB's on the Wii don't work for that.by JjStAr - Homebrew Applications
Mighty Channel requires Waninkoko's cIOS. And that's not supported here.by JjStAr - Homebrew Applications
