Does anyone here know of any good free compilers for Mac or PC? I'm reading "Learn C in 21 Days" (as I read that C is a great first language to learn) and I need a compiler to compile, link, and execute my source code! Right now, I'm downloading Xcode for my Mac and I tried to download Visual C++ for Windows (on my Boot Camp XP partition), but it wouldn't download, even after tryinby nintendude - Getting Started
Thanks for the resources and tips as well! Just like Bomber, I too, am very interested in the Wii scene. It's not showing up because it's not called bannerbomb anymore. Now it's called the *working title* exploit because, apparently, Comex thought that the original name was stupid. QuotealainveyThere will be a way (possibly with the application Gecko OS or similar), but it will be a bit more complicated than just using ocarina in the HBC. Wait till it's out, then ask again. Edit: Actually, given the way it works, I think you might just be able to run ocarina with Comex's exploit and have it reboot with cheats in place. Basically, yes. I just hope that this new exploit will enable people like me with a virgin 4.0 Wii to run Ocarina... I, too, am new to these forums and to Homebrew in general and, based on my research about Homebrew and the like, once your stuck with 4.0, unless you downgrade (which isn't recommended), then you can't do the Twilight hack.
