Thanks to teebonesy's thread, I'm pretty sure I know what to do in order to install the Homebrew Channel so I can finally play Brawl+ (and other games in the future, I'm sure), as well as do other various things that Homebrew apps have to offer... Anyway, I have (possibly) two questions regarding my SD card (which is a 2 GB SanDisk Wii card) and its contents: 1) Do I need anby nintendude - Getting Started

QuoteDrLuckythis isn't supposed to be one of those forums with all the crazy avatar...Wiibrew is going for a more professional look... Instead of marking them as read, just read them!! I have read every post on this forum... Ah, so apparently I missed nothing earlier about this being posted on WiiBrew's home page. Plus, wouldn't the legit version be a lot more detailed (and, for that matter, stay posted with a credible source)?by nintendude - Homebrew General

QuoteArikadoIt appears to be released now: Also, AFAIK, WiiBrew isn't supporting this exploit for some reason. So apologies in advance if I have to start going through the forums deleting topics about it and yelling at people who ask about it. In your opinion, do you think it's safe to try? Two things make me suspicious: 1) As you said yourself, WiiBrew isn't supporting iby nintendude - Getting Started
WiiBrew forums should have an option to mark all forums as read, instead of just marking an individual forum as read. This way, I don't have to go and mark everything as read manually, but do it all in one shot. Also, there should be an option to automatically save sent PMs, add a picture signature to your profile so it shows up on the bottom of every post you make, and it'd be cool toby nintendude - Feedback & Support
Well, I guess what was posted earlier wasn't the real deal. I guess it's best to wait and see when the real deal will be posted be a legit source with the hacker's seal of quality.by nintendude - Homebrew General
Wait! Bannerbomb is released? Also, if it is, where do I get it? Also, if the link disappeared, then where's the homepage that you speak of? And does this mean that I missed my chance to use it? Or does it mean that the developers withdrew it for further debugging?by nintendude - Homebrew General

Why not use the tried and true method of the Twilight hack? Believe me, if I didn't update to 4.0 so quickly and found out about HBC sooner, I would use this method.by nintendude - Getting Started

Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if we had to wait another 1-2 months (that's what I'm anticipating so I'm not getting my hopes up). Even though I'm a very patient guy, it doesn't mean that I like to wait! But, I'd rather have as many bugs exterminated as possible before having a new exploit run on my virgin Wii!by nintendude - Getting Started
I'm not entirely understanding what I read (both the article and the comments). If it's more relevant, I bought my Wii back in December, and, also according to what I read, shouldn't my console have the old boot1 which would make BootMii 100% compatible?by nintendude - Getting Started
According to Daniel, I have a boot1 since I have a LU61 Wii, so should I really be concerned about installing BootMii as boot2 (I mean, can't I install BootMii as boot1)? Also, I appreciate any answers you're giving me as I know what it's like to be busy and all with college, work, and the like.by nintendude - Getting Started
I believe that in case if you send your Wii into Nintendo and they feel it's best to get a new (or refurbished) Wii, then they'll transfer any information on it to your new one (unless it's in bad enough of a state to where that can't even happen).by nintendude - Getting Started

Arikado, sorry to bug you, but I, too, would like to know the answer to what kydo asked. Plus, how am I able to tell if my Wii has a "proper boot1"? Does it have anything to do with the serial #, as I've read that the newer Wiis with serial numbers starting with LU64 are harder to run unsigned code on (luckily, my Wii has a LU61 serial).by nintendude - Getting Started
Dude, chillax! The exploit will be ready when it's ready! Last time we heard, it's in the testing phase, and I'm sure that they're making sure that there's as few bugs as possible before release. I'd rather have an exploit that works than to have one that either doesn't work or cause some type of undesired effect to my Wii (like bricking perhaps). But, don'by nintendude - Getting Started
Yeah, a lot of people seem to get confused about this. I just really wished I knew about the HBC before I updated to 4.0. Oh well, when the new exploit is done and released, things will be looking up...by nintendude - Getting Started
I seem to have a problem trying to compile and run what "Learn C in 21 Days" wants me to type out: #include main() { printf("Hello, World!\n"); return 0; } I tried to compile what you said to copy and paste into Dev C++, but to no avail (probably because the 1st line got cut off).
