I need to send in my Wii so that they'll fix it so that Smash Brothers will play again. It stopped reading the disc. And for them to fix it for free, I need to remove my hacks and everything. How can I do this?by sirius2008 - Homebrew General
Well I updated my wii with success but I thought it was supposed to get rid of my homebrew channel and prevent it from working. It's working just fine and I didn't use the new hackmii installer or anything. Did i just get lucky? I am able to use roms and everything just fineby sirius2008 - Getting Started
I read about all the warnings about updating to 4.2 but I still have some questions. First of all, will it brick my wii if i have the homebrew channel or just remove it? And is there now an updated version of the homebrew channel if I update my wii to 4.2? The only reason I am wondering about updating is because I want to download a wii ware game onto my wii but inhabe to update before I can evenby sirius2008 - Getting Started

Well I have absolutely no idea what cIOScorp even is, so I doubt that I have it, unless it is grouped together with the .rar files that I unzipped to my SD card.by sirius2008 - Homebrew Applications
All right. Thanks for your guys' help, but I tried the hackmii installer, and that didn't work either. Any other ideas on what to do?by sirius2008 - Homebrew Applications

Hi, I just figured out how to do ROMs (super excited) on the Wii, and I have a question as to how I could do Gamecube or Wii ROMs? The reason is NOT for piracy, but merely so that I can have ALL of my games with me wherever I bring my Wii and I won't have to bring every single game with me. Is there a way to do this? I would greatly appreciate any and all help. Thank you.by sirius2008 - The Junkyard

I am new to this, and I was excited that I finally unlocked my Wii this morning (3:30 am), but now I can't figure out how to actually use the emulators that this site advertises, nor can I figure out how to view any applications on the homebrew channel. Could you please help me and give me step-by-step instructions, because, like I said, I'm completely new to this. Thank you so much. Iby sirius2008 - Getting Started
