It is as simple as re modding your vWii mode. If your Homebrew is on a sd card, it'll play after you are done. Usb also, Except that you must NEVER leave the usb plugged in to the wiiiu when you are ready to shut down or go to Wii U mode. OK, Everyone. I see these "skins" all over the net. I looked into doing my own. My question is, do any of you know where I can find some cheap top coated static cling vinyl to print the pics on? I have searched high and low with nothing at a reasonable price. By reasonable I mean cheap, like say anywhere from next to nothing to say $5.00 a sheet. When I first purchased the wii, downgrading was what the guide said and I used it without a problem. Warez and the likes of that stuff wasn't mentioned in the guide I used. I guess the guide I used was not a guide I should have used, but you know, it worked. Also I have no clue where that guide is b\c it was in a bookmark I lost when my pc at the time had died out. I can tell you from personal exp. that downloading and installing a different version doesn't help. I tried several but none that work. I haven't been able to properly stream anything over the smb since wiimc 1.1 I think it was. I bought a ext. hdd and use that instead. If you do get it up and running, That would be great and replying here with what you did would help not only myself buby zeveroth - Homebrew Applications

Could the OP actually be referring to the download option that WiiXplorer has? If that is the case, then yes it can download files from the net, unfortunately I don't have any links that would be of use as all the ones I try never work properly. As long as you follow a proper guide to mod it, you will be alright. I have a launch wii and a second wii that i bout in summer of 2008. The 2008 model is a LU64 model. I have installed so much crap on it in the last two years and nothing has ever bricked my wii. Not saying it can not happen, just that the odds, if you follow all your instructions properly, are so low, you would have a higher chaby zeveroth - Homebrew General

Ok I don't have much help, but I have used priiloader for a long time now and never had a problem with the hacks working to block updates. All system updates will ask if you whether or not you agree to the terms, so If it does then just turn the wii off with the power button to the wii until it turns red. Try to update via dope-mii, the new ios's that is. Again though, I doubt that withby zeveroth - Homebrew General

You could always just rerun the newest hackmii installer. It will tell you if you can install bootmii as ios or boot2. That is the fastest way that I know how. It only takes less than a minute for it. IMO it is faster than moving bootmii to the root of SD.by zeveroth - Homebrew Applications

Still hangs at black screen, yet wiimote doesn't turn off. I suppose after looking taht the late release date of 2008 I suppose it has been abandoned. Thanks. Oh do you think if I poked around in the source I may be able to update the boot.dol for the new homebrew channel? I get a black screen when trying to load up Dopewars v 1.1. Any help would be grateful. I never get a code dump, so that should eliminate the suggestion. It has been happening on both my 4.0u and my 3.2u. In fact, It has never worked on any of my wii's. If anyone else has/had this problem and may know how to fix it, thanks in advance. Yesterday and teh day before this site wasn't working for me at all. Said it had a error. I know a few other sites that I use had same problem due to a employee attacking the host sever. wonder if maybe the same company hosts this site. I'll have a look.
