It would be nice if you'd actually told me I screwed this up. I've fixed the download.by Tantric - Homebrew Applications
It doesn't work anymore and hasn't for quite some time. The only two ways to play YouTube on Wii is via the Opera channel or with WiiMC.by Tantric - Homebrew Applications
libogc doesn't contain anything pthread related. What you're looking at is a pthread wrapper for LWP. If there's problem with it the issue is with that code, not with libogc or dkppc.by Tantric - Coding
This could be due to an incompatible hard drive or another USB device plugged into the Wii. Try unplugging any USB stuff and booting and see what happens.by Tantric - Homebrew Applications
QuoteekeekeThere is no "boot file" to copy or usb 2.0 issues to fix. However, there is apparently still a bug in libogc when connecting classic (and maybe nunchuk also) controller to any wiimote other than the first one. The result is a crash of the application as soon as it initializes the wiimotes (i.e when it starts) or when you connect a controller. This is (hopefully) fixed in libogc 1.by Tantric - Homebrew Applications
This is still a problem. You shouldn't be running WiiMC on a system menu IOS - it wasn't designed for that. Talk to Daco about getting priiloader to reload to IOS58 before loading WiiMC.by Tantric - Homebrew Applications
Why are you using version 3.0.2? The latest is 3.2.3 and it doesn't have this bug. Also, you're replying to a thread more than a year old. In short - what are you smoking?by Tantric - Homebrew Applications
Also having a look at __ES_Init(), I don't see a reason why calling it multiple times would hurt anything.by Tantric - Homebrew Applications
It's only a problem when an async IPC call is made and IOS doesn't respond before HBC exits. It's not a problem if the call returns to HBC. There's a loop that's called when your app starts that looks something like this: for(i=0; i < MAX_HANDLE; i++) IOS_Close(i); So the problem isn't really that a handle can't be reopened. The problem is actualby Tantric - Homebrew Applications
Quoteekeeke Any insight about the freezes and DSI exception that occurs when Wifi router is switched off ? Again, this does not happen when no_ios_reload is trashed. I think I somehow fixed it by removing the redundant call to _ES_Init in _ahb_check_aprot (di.c) when DI_Init is called at the start of the application but I'm not sure, it seems it's still quite unstable and subject to crby Tantric - Homebrew Applications
It's a bug with HBC, where HBC tells the drive to go to sleep before launching your app. As a result, an immediate call to init it may fail. To work around this in WiiMC (if I don't find an SD card) I attempt to mount a usb drive for 5 seconds before giving up. See here: For me it doesn't matter if the network is initialized or not. Basically what's happening is everby Tantric - Homebrew Applications
You shouldn't. You should install unpatched IOSs over top each of them instead. You could try DOP Mii for that.by Tantric - Homebrew Applications
From the sounds of it that file is just too much for the Wii to handle. Rip it down to a smaller resolution and/or bitrate. Remember that the Wii can't actually show > 640x480 anyway, so there's no point in having a video with a massive resolution - you're really not gaining anything. Also stay away from h264 - it's a CPU-intensive codec, and the Wii doesn't have aby Tantric - Homebrew Applications
Actually I broke auto-update in the last versions, and only discovered it when I was testing auto-update before releasing the new ones. Of course, by then it was too late to go back in time and fix the last versions too. Once you update (manually) auto-update will work again in the future. And I'll try not to break it again!by Tantric - Homebrew Applications
Only if you change the default folder from vbagx\roms to something else. As you use the browser the Load Folder follows you so you can really put your roms wherever you want.by Tantric - Homebrew Applications
You mean vbagx\roms not apps\vbagx\romsby Tantric - Homebrew Applications
Have you tried updating the WiiMC channel to 1.5? As per the WiiMC website QuoteIf you are using an older channel, you must upgrade or WiiMC may hang. Also be sure to not just copy over the 1.4 channel install files, or you could inadvertently load boot.elf (1.4) instead of boot.dol (1.5)by Tantric - Homebrew Applications
The reason they don't show on my emus is that I hide any file that starts with ".". This is pretty easy to do and a good idea, since in all operating systems these files are always meant to be hidden. Perhaps ekeeke will add this.by Tantric - Homebrew Applications
QuoteSifJarI'm pretty sure dop-Mii reloads IOS without losing AHBPROT, go read its source. Nope. It doesn't.by Tantric - Coding
Quotereroshaggyuntil Tantric gets around to the issues(If not already) It's doubtful I'll ever get around to the issues. SMW Wii was a proof-of-concept port. I don't maintain it.by Tantric - Homebrew Applications
It's not that HBC "sets" AHBPROT - it's already set before it even loads as SirJar points out. So to not lose it you can add <no_ios_reload /> to meta.xml. In answer to the original question, HBC will not reload IOS for wiiloaded apps, so that mimics the <no_ios_reload /> behavior.by Tantric - Coding
That changes your height from 480 to 528 - which is one way to "solve" your problem I guess. But if you release this homebrew, are you going to suggest to your users to change their Wii settings to 50Hz? Sounds pretty sloppy to me...by Tantric - Coding
Overscan still applies in your case. Any non-digital signal may be overscanned, depending on your TV. I have two that do none, and one that chops a fair bit off all 4 sides. The best way to compensate is to not place anything important in the overscan area. A less elegant solution would be to set up your view area to a smaller area (eg: 456x678 instead of 480x720) and center the image. Take yourby Tantric - Coding
Yes but this was a quick hack, the source code is still an awful example of how to install an IOS.by Tantric - Homebrew Applications
No, I have absolutely no idea about the Snes9x GX channel.by Tantric - Homebrew Applications
No, there's no official channel for gen plusby Tantric - Homebrew Applications
The official FCE Ultra GX and VBA GX channels are done, you can find them here: The official Snes9x GX channel isn't done yet :(by Tantric - Homebrew Applications
One or the other, or both. You can extend the GX in libwiigui to be used for tiling, and add some class functions to use it. Also, the GX in libwiigui is already compatible with GRRLIB.by Tantric - Coding
