What happens if you clean your project, then make? You'll find clean under tools>clean. I think I got the same error message 2 days ago and cleaning the project solved it.by profetylen - Getting Started
Don't you have to call GRRLIB_Init() before you call GRRLIB_InitTileSet()?by profetylen - Coding
How incredible stupid I have been now. I read sloppy. Didn't notice "(and .pnps)", I thought it was "(or .pnps)", as if they could have any of those 2 file extensions. Thanks anyways! Now I can check things out :)by profetylen - Getting Started
Very strange... However, I opened the .pnproj file with Notepad and saw information about of directories to the HelloWorld program. Maybe you could post the "notepad contents" of your .pnproj file here?by profetylen - Getting Started
Hm... That didn't help. It says directory not found.by profetylen - Getting Started
How do I open a project that doesn't have a .pnproj file?by profetylen - Getting Started
Don't know much about this, but I do now that when a gamecube game is executed it runs trought MIOS instead of IOSs. What I think you have to do is patch MIOS not to disable bluetooth communicatino with wiimotes (as these are shut down when a with MIOS I think) and maybe translate the wiimote/classic controller/nunchuk input to gamecube input. I certaionly don't know how unfortunatelby profetylen - Software
It's a replacement for boot2. It's loaded before the system menu and all the IOSs are loaded which means that even if you mess up the system menu and the necessary IOSs bootmii can still load .dols from the SD and through that reinstall the correct system menu and IOSs. It also has a function for backing up your NAND, which allows you to completely restore your Wiis software to a preby profetylen - Getting Started
I did this too. I think when you download from the HBB the folder that's supposed to be in the root of your SD card is never extracted. Try download from the wiki and put it there manually! :Dby profetylen - Homebrew Applications
Why has this thread suddenly become so quiet just after the good news from the developers? I'd expect the opposite!by profetylen - Homebrew Applications
What is the best way to do this? I have tried doing like in the codemii examples but when I use that in combination with HaltGui() and ResumeGui() it sometimes ignores the input. I find no logic in when it starts ignoring.by profetylen - Coding
OK! I'll try that. But I'd sure like to understand why the thing I just tried worked when I didn't use halt and resume the GUI. Thanks for all the help anyways! It has been really... helpful :)by profetylen - Coding
Like this: while(1) { WPAD_ScanPads(); u32 pressed = WPAD_ButtonsDown(0); if (pressed & WPAD_BUTTON_HOME) { break; } }by profetylen - Coding
Hmm... I'm starting maybe to realize now... Since i use libwiigui should I handle inputs somehow with GuiTrigger?by profetylen - Coding
They stay unresponsive forever. It's not Gui buttons. It's the buttons on the wiimote (aka Home, A, Right, Left etc).by profetylen - Coding
Hmm... I just noticed, when I use the method of halting and resuming the GUI, the program stops responding to buttons being pressed/released/held.by profetylen - Coding
Hmm... I just noticed, when I use the method of halting and resuming the GUI, the program stops responding to buttons being pressed/released/held. How can this happen?by profetylen - Coding
Yes, that worked!! But, how do I know for what changes the GUI should be halted?by profetylen - Coding
No I'm declaring pData outside the loop. Then I call the other functions. Like this: char pData[20]; while(1) { sprintf(pData,"%.2f",ir,y); headlineText.SetText(pData); . . . if(something) { break; } }by profetylen - Coding
Previously I declared pData like this: char data; char* pdaTa = &data; Now, I do as you told me to: char pData[20]; However, I am still getting crashes and code dumps as fast as I call SetText(pData); This only happens when SetText(pData); is in the main while(1) loop. When I put it outside the loop there's no crashes, but then, as you can tell, the number is never updatedby profetylen - Coding
What I try to do: Display a number which is changing all the time. What I have tried: I have tried using sprintf(pData,"%d",(short) ir.y); headlineText.SetText(pData); and a bunch of other variants of the previous, but my wii always crashes and give me a code dump. What do I do wrong? pData is of type char* and headlineText is a GuiText object.by profetylen - Coding
Hmm... isn't it possible to play flash games trough some internet browser for wii? Don't remember the name... maybe I'm totally wrong. :Dby profetylen - Offtopic

I think people who type in all caps are unable to unpack wads... Then Smario3500 isn't unable 'cause he left the "o" un-CAPSed in "Do".by profetylen - Software
Strange, but the reason for mine being bad might be the router's age (5 years or so) or the distance of 25 metres or someting from the wii to the router (through some walls and a ceiling).by profetylen - Homebrew Applications
Yes, I have found that example a while ago. But if I want to make programs that can be run on windows (for the purpose of learning) how do I write and compile such a helloworld program? Didn't quite understand how to compile from what i read in "C++ in 21 days". (I'll start making wii homebrew when I'm done learning. Yahoo! :D) Thanks!by profetylen - Getting Started
Ok! I've already read the first one of those. However, I dind't think it would brick my wii. Maybe I should consider myself lucky to have a crappy router :) I have one question though: Why do Nintendo allow people to download old system menus (like 3.2)?by profetylen - Homebrew Applications
You can get Devkit Pro one click away from the wiibrew main page. Read this to know how to set it up! (Programmers Notepad is included in Devkit Pro.) I just started reading those pages too! I'm on day three! How long have you been reading, nintendude? Do you have programming experience from before you started reading "C++ in 21 days"? How do I actually compile and link with Pby profetylen - Getting Started
