Thats good I was going to say maybe it was the sd card that wasn't working right.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
If you are referring to those youtube videos those are fail, and will cause will problems then solve. If we start at the beginning, for menu 4.2 you need bannerbombv2, here is tutorial on the wiki that takes it step by step, follow it and see if it helps. I had to follow it to rehack mine when I temporally lost HBC and I got it going first time.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
The files for bannerbomb and hackmii installer need to be on the root of the sd card, that is the blank area you first see on your sd card. To work them, turn your wii on first let it load up to the system menu then insert the sd card, it will ask you if you want to load boot.dol yes/no, tell it yes and then the hackmii installer will open up.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
I don't think I can tell you that either, the best thing to do is PM one of the mods, or admins and ask them if its ok to ask for that.by dirtrider73068 - Homebrew Applications
No it doesn't come with games, and we can't tell you where to get them, you can do some research and find them.by dirtrider73068 - Homebrew Applications
no 4.2 is the latest version that I know of and am aware of.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
QuoteArikadoIf you have a wireless internet connection and you're not on the latest version of the HBC, you will be prompted to update to the latest version of the HBC. Otherwise, run the latest HackMii Installer ( ) as though it were an application in the HBC to update. Just as Arikado said here to update your HBC.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
I had to check myself couldn't remember, go to your HBC and open it, choose start, once it loads hit the home button on wiimote, then in the top right corner it will give your version of hbc.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
If you have the latest HBC it should be version 1.0.6(there will 3 numbers to the HBC version) I think is the right latest version. If not you can update the HBC then do the disc update and you won't lose HBC.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
That is there on wiibrew so if another new update is released from nintendo you newbies don't update until the new released updated is looked at, and see what the new updates will do, so homebrew can be worked around any new released updates. So for example, this is just a example, if say a new update is released say version 5.0, if homebrew hasn't had time to check it, then if we updaby dirtrider73068 - Getting Started

LOL LOL but seeing those well the couple that are here at least made me laugh, and still just thinking about it, I crack up. Sometimes with post like that at random I wonder if its not some half bot half real person does forum searches just for the hell of it to see what kind of people there are or if they can hack the forum itself, why that I wouldn't know, but a good laugh at the stupids aby dirtrider73068 - Old Announcements
QuoteArikado It's internet vernacular intended to imply that they are only here to intentionally invoke an emotional rise out of people. Asking stupid questions he/she/it and everyone else knows the answer to is what he/she/it seems to find the easiest way to accomplish that. You need to have the homebrew browser on your sd card, but need a apps folder first. On the root of your card it what you see first when you open the sd card folder put apps, inside this folder you need to put homebrew browser.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
You shouldn't ever try to downgrade your wii, its asking for fail if you do. If you used a video guide from youtube, those are fail as well and won't help. Why did you want to downgrade? And how does it keep failing, what is it saying when it fails?by dirtrider73068 - Homebrew Applications
The winter Olympics kicks off tonight yea! I do feel for the family of the luge contestant that died in training when flew off the track and hit a unpadded metal beam support. I always look forward the Olympics ever time they come around, the stiff competition from all country's is great to watch, anybody else going to watch or watching the opening ceremony's. Have you read both my topics I had on my issues, and what had to be done to fix it? I am in the wii help chat you had link in your post.by dirtrider73068 - Homebrew General
Sounds Like the drive is messed up giving you the error, If it was like my problem was the disc channel wouldn't load it be a black screen. I know this sounds like a dumb question but are you sure you are putting the disc in the right way and its not scratched up?by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
If you had the exact issue like I did, it can be fixed mine was a previous own wii but I had suspicion it had stuff not allowed in discussion on this forum caused some of my problem, but after battle it was fixed. What exactly is wrong with yours and what is it doing with the problem? Also try this thread I had wrote as well it may help some as well as reading through this thread from the begby dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
I was at 3.4 and went to 4.2 there is no big difference only thing I noticed is you can access the sd card menu on the system menu screen rather than go through the settings. And if you get ahold of a game that wants an update to 4.2 it will keep asking for it unless you run it in gecko os, so you may as well go all the way to 4.2.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
I am not for sure but I don't think you will go from 3.1 to 3.2, I think you will go all the way up to 4.2, which is current updated system menu now.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
Why not use the sync buttons on the wii and wiimotes when they bring theirs over, wouldn't that be easier? After they are done and go home then resync them back to there own wii's? This post actually may belong in the coding section.by dirtrider73068 - Coding
Yes the news, forecast channels at least need wii24 turned on, or at least the news channel does to get the news feeds. The Nintendo channel is pretty neat, you can keep up on the news and updates of products and games they are coming up with.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
Need more info than this to help you with your problem. Were you trying to install a app? To get back to HBC from an app push the home button or go the exit on the app your using and it should take you back to the HBC screen.by dirtrider73068 - Homebrew General
I still can't it to work right, not matter where I put it at. I had a hard time getting the rom files to show up, after finally deleting the rom folder and just going straight the root of the fce folder then they show up. I still need help with the game genie, i had it going at one point and now can't get it back again.by dirtrider73068 - Homebrew Applications
I don't know if you can just remove the backup loaders or if you update it deletes them. I can tell you from 4.2 you can use bannerbomb v2 with hackmii installer, to rehack it, or you can update the homebrew channel to latest version, and update to 4.2 and it won't delete the homebrew channel.by dirtrider73068 - Homebrew General
Well got the game genie figured out then it wouldn't work, I put it in the fce folder, nothing, put it in the rom folder it loaded, but then only showed 1 game in my rom folder! I have way more than one game, no matter what I did it only shows one game. I took everything out of the rom folder, reloaded all my roms, and the gg.rom file as well, and same issue, shows the one same game and gameby dirtrider73068 - Homebrew Applications
