Naturally, the easiest way to install Homebrew Channel and DVDx and BootMii is through the HackMii Installer using BannerBomb. Though BannerBomb may need a bit of trial and error to get the right version for your system...by master5o1 - Getting Started
Ok, well, let's er... give my weak arse justification of its uses: To analyse and test the security of my own network while it is under regular use (My computer, my mum's computer, etc...), without the need to stop one's computer (it's not 'regular use' if my computer is not using the Internet as I do normally...considering that aircrack-ng is only on my laptop :|by master5o1 - Ideas, requests
Seriously, what is the point of any of those hacks? Changing the pokemon? WTF? WHY! Changing the music? Why would you want anything else :| I just don't understand the point of these hacks :Sby master5o1 - Ideas, requests
Err, why are we in the "while using Nintendo software" mode. It won't be very possible to use this during Wii-software play. Homebrew, fine. Any homebrew software could implement this...by master5o1 - Ideas, requests
Ideal outcome: User attempts to open a file, open using a) an installed homebrew app or, b) use the file manager's inbuilt file handler for its type. -- eg. images, music, video... User attempts to open a homebrew program ('boot.dol' or 'boot.elf'), should load the program. Also, when in the '/apps/' directory, the 'items' within the folder shoby master5o1 - Ideas, requests

If MINI is the homebrew `version` of IOS, then surely one could create a homebrew version of MIOS...of course, it shouldn't be a hack-n-patched version of MIOS...a *new* one :| idk what im talking about really :|by master5o1 - Ideas, requests
Err... Simple: File Manager File Viewer Wiindows Explorer (no don't, bad joke) I don't particularly like this 'ii' stuff too much :| It's becoming overused.by master5o1 - Ideas, requests
I was thinking, the Wii would be a perfect system to use for aircrack-ng. It would be quite cool to have it ported over somehow, or at least, when Linux gets wireless on here.... :) I had something else in my head but I forgot :|by master5o1 - Ideas, requests
I'm not sure about you guys but Mplayer "dvdlib" edition (methinks the team twiizers one?) seems to work for my copy of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe which has the 'copy protection' logo on the case and disc. ie: It appears to read CSS fine, at least in New Zealand. I'm pretty sure that both of these Mplayers can view copy protected dvds: (Pretty sure it worksby master5o1 - Getting Started
>This is indeed a great idea, as some GC games really could take advantage of classic controller controls!! And if one translates the Wifi as the GC Broadband Adapter (etc) then it could be possible for some online crap through those games that use it.by master5o1 - Software

I was looking at this page and thinking about whether it would be possible to have another exploit similar to the twilight hack but for the Mii channel -- using a modified Mii. Speculation may begin :Dby master5o1 - Homebrew General

Oh right... well then... I suppose when we have a nice WiiLinux which is "easy" to install then it will be on the Wii Menu like the HBC is.by master5o1 - Homebrew Applications
Well you see, It came up with one of those errors to which I cannot remember. I just upgraded to 3.4e so that I could see whether the DVDx for 3.4 would work but I don't think it has. By integrate I think that the HBB shouldn't be in the channel area buttons but be a small square icon beside the Network/Internet and USBGecko buttons on the bottom right. Obviously this would be a Tby master5o1 - Homebrew Applications
I just want to share them. For the Homebrew Channel: * Integrate the Homebrew Browser (as a button like the USBGecko and Internet buttons) * A LibPurple client front end. * A Web browser. For the Wii Linux stuff: * A HBC-based installer for the latest distro (not just Whiite). Also, I'm on Wii Menu version 3.3E and I can't get the DVDx to work.by master5o1 - Homebrew Applications
