Will newer versions of WoW be compatible with the older computers? If they aren't then why would Blizzard waste their time making a universal binary when it can only be run on the Intel Macs?by Godofrock72 - Offtopic
Gecko OS hooks? - 15 years ago
What exactly do Gecko OS hooks do? I've heard a few different things. I've heard that they just reload Gecko OS with some modifications, and I've heard that they'll load the Wii system menu without things like data-locks (so you can't copy certain saved-data to an SD card, i.e. Super Smash Bros. I know that traces of the Homebrew Channel will still remain. I really don't care about that because my Wii's waranty was already expired before I even installed homebrew :-P. I'm just not really into homebrew anymore, and I'd like to remove everything, including BootMii, from my Wii. So how do I remove BootMii from the Wii?by Godofrock72 - Getting Started

If I format my Wii's memory, will that remove everything (BootMii, the Homebrew Channel, etc.)? And will I be able to just move my saves/VC titles/Wiiware titles to an SD card, and move them back after the format?by Godofrock72 - Getting Started

I'm trying to put reboot the system menu with hooks in Gecko OS, but it fails to find the system menu (or something like that, I'll check and edit if needed). I'm trying to run my backups (yes, I own the originals), but can't because I can't relaunch the system menu.by Godofrock72 - The Junkyard

If I own an original copy of a Wii game, is it legal for me to make a backup copy of it and use that so that if the backup gets broken, I can just make another copy from the original? If it is legal, can I just run the game from a certain homebrew application, or do I need to get a modchip?by Godofrock72 - Offtopic

I'm fairly new to homebrew and need some answers to these questions: How do you downgrade with AnyRegion Changer? Is downgrading with ARC safe? I don't use Gecko OS for cheats, I just use it to launch "Brawl+," which is just a bunch of codes written for Gecko OS that modify things like angles, gravity, weight, power, etc. The BrawlPlusery official codesetby Godofrock72 - Offtopic

Even if we could, it would be extremely laggy. Look at a Nintendo DS emulator running on a regular computer! I'm sure the PS2 would run slower than that. However, there are PS2 emulators out there, but your going to want to have the actual games, since they take up gigabytes of space.by Godofrock72 - Offtopic
