QuoteI just have no idea how to use it. I won't lie, I've been tempted to figure it out, but I'm just too lazy sounds exactly like me!!! I have no idea how to use it... and have been tempted to figure it out... now that there is a legal way to do this stuff, maybe we'll start seeing some growth of it here.by mdbrim - Getting Started
Bubble Bobble... awesome game!! it appears everyone on this forum is scared of this topic... It doesn't matter why he wants to do put it as a channel (easier for the wife, he's lazy, it's cool)... every seems to be walking on eggshells and telling him to do other things / just load it normally... If there is a legal way to do it now (which it seems there is) then help himby mdbrim - Getting Started
oh no, sorry, i was saying i can't imagine it being any more illegal than RawkSD... as in any different than RawkSD... so if RawkSD is cool, then i would image anything made to do the same thing for GH would be cool too. Yeah i can see how my post is confusing... my bad! i hope it's PHeasable! :Dby mdbrim - Ideas, requests
lol yep!!! that was it! Awesome, glad you figured out... took me TWO days to fix such a simple thing.by mdbrim - Coding
darklink, why do you think it is illegal?by mdbrim - Ideas, requests
lol i wish i had a costume like that!!! no, just a random google search returned that gem!by mdbrim - Offtopic
Wiiger is also approaching a dangerous territory based on words of similar spelling and pronunciation... how bout THISby mdbrim - Offtopic
yes you can... it says "Downloadable via the Homebrew Browser" on the right so you're good to go!by mdbrim - Getting Started
i would imagine in wouldn't be any more illegal than RawkSD... but as a GH owner, i would also like :Dby mdbrim - Ideas, requests
I hear ya Waxy... happens to the best of us :Dby mdbrim - Getting Started
My computer -> SD card -> apps -> homebrew_browser -> boot.dol, icon.png, loops.mod, meta.xml, settings.xmlby mdbrim - Getting Started
it will replace your computer, but you'll still need the sd card in the wii (that's where the apps and browser would be, and where it'll put your apps you download) Not ALL of the stuff, but MOST of it. You'll notice if you check out each apps wiibrew page it will tell you if it is available thru the HB browser. Sure: 1. Download the HBB using the download link hereby mdbrim - Getting Started
I had that exact same problem on an early build of one of my projects... turns out it was such a simple fix i can't remember what i did. If you post your code, i might recognize what the issue was...by mdbrim - Coding
DVDx is the one you downloaded in the beginning when you downloaded HomeBrew... its one of the few things that doens't work like the rest of the apps in that you don't put it on your sd card in an apps folder. You would just run the same install you used for the HBC and install it that way. Yes the homebrew browser gets installed manually on the SD card... then you can run it from tby mdbrim - Getting Started
oh no, i understand, and agree about the coding forum maybe not being the best place for early questions, but i would post in the getting started forum, or Homebrew general. Both fall under the rule stated in the code forum. That way people will be able to find it. Most folks don't necessarily look in the OFF TOPIC forum for code questions. You'll get more answers there :D Hoby mdbrim - Offtopic
but not in "Offtopic" you were right... wrong forum :Dby mdbrim - Offtopic
yeah there are a lot more issues than what i noted... you'll hvae to move the definition of all those variables above the void LoopTheMP3 function.... and i don't see how the mp3isready switches from false to true properly. You just set it true with no condition for it to have to meet before it IS true...by mdbrim - Coding
couple problems that i can see... void LoopTheMP3() { if(mp3isready && !MP3Player_IsPlaying()) MP3Player_PlayBuffer(buffer, lSize, NULL); } needs to be above all the times you call for it... so put it above int main() { then remove this line: void LoopTheMP3(); and make it: LoopTheMP3(); and it probably needs to go inside the while loop for it to do what you wantby mdbrim - Coding
You can get it to work if you start it using LoadMii... but even then it won't really be playable for ya... Check it out.by mdbrim - Homebrew Applications
QuoteAccept let it take up space on your SD card... and we wonder how he got up to 500 posts so quick! :Dby mdbrim - Homebrew General
Sorry, i didn't know you were asking HOW to do it... just IF you could. Throw an image and a xml file and it'll blend in nice with the rest of your apps.by mdbrim - Getting Started
awesome... thanks Arikado... i'll check it out. I might be picking your brain later TopGun!by mdbrim - Offtopic
QuoteSimply because if you want to calulate a function's derivative or integral you cannot use degrees and must convert to radians by the definitions of sine and cosine. Not entirely true... it's just much SIMPLER to do it with radians... which is why it is preferred. Not to turn this into a spirited math debate, but it's all about arc length... at one radian... the arc of theby mdbrim - Coding
So there I was a year or two ago, playing Mario Kart Wii online and some guy used a Bullet Bill right off the start line and thus gave me my introduction to cheating online... I was determined to find out how he did it (not because i wanted to cheat too, but because it obviously meant he had modded his wii some how) So i used google to type in "Wii MarioKart Cheat Online". After sifting myby mdbrim - Offtopic
sweet!!! yeah that's another thing too, most calculators will let you tell it what you are going to be using and then you can just plug away!!! It is easier to learn about degrees first because it is easier to visualize what a degree is (vs what a radian is) so they teach it in degrees... but as you do higher and higher level math, you'll learn that it is way more efficient and usby mdbrim - Coding
