Not sure if you need to implement the cpuid stuff. The cpuid x86 asm instruction returns the processor info. based on the value set in EAX. In this case EAX=0 will return Get vendor, more detail can be found here. .by scanff - Coding
You're correct I missed that. Never seen it done by multiplication before.by scanff - Coding
You sure the values you're calculating are correct? TGA is little-endian I'm surprised it's not code dumped it's probably calculating massive width/height and bpp values?by scanff - Coding
Quoteekeeke Another possibility is that Display List functions are simply not correctly implemented in libogc, I remember this has already been discussed before but I don't know the general position on that subject. I think this is the original thread - I did try and use lists for static models a while back, I could never get them working either. I noticed Michael did have a worby scanff - Coding

I doubt it, even if you could you'd really need to be a skilled EE. If you could replace the current RAM with an exact match pin for pin and the clock speed was the same the physical size is probably defined in the bootloader code, that would also need modifying. Not sure on the RAM package in the Wii but if it's something like BGA then you need special tools to remove and replace.by scanff - Ideas, requests

You set the vertex description to pos, normal and color but vtx1 is only pos and color?? Just a guess, I'm no GX guru. Have you tried something like GX_ClearVtxDesc( ); GX_SetVtxDesc(GX_VA_POS, GX_DIRECT); GX_SetVtxDesc(GX_VA_CLR0, GX_DIRECT); GX_Begin(GX_QUADS, GX_VTXFMT1, 4); GX_Position3f32(0, 0, 0); GX_Color4u8(0xff, 0x00, 0x00, 0xff); GX_Position3f32(1, 2, 0);by scanff - Coding
The data is raw so you'll have to do your own smoothing. IR smoothing is done here Maybe you can do something similar.by scanff - Coding

Yes there's a conflict :- SDL - SDL_wiivideo.c unsigned int *xfb[2] = { NULL, NULL }; // Double buffered I guess that's already defined in GRRLIB. As for the others you need to add LIBS += -lwiikeyboard That should take care of "SDL_wii_main.c:(.text.main+0x98): undefined reference to `KEYBOARD_Init'" If you are compiling SDL yourself you can easily modify it tby scanff - Coding
Can you post some code on what you're trying to do / what formats you are playing? ASND is very easy to use and I'm interested in the SDL errors, you should not be seeing those. For SDL examples check out SuperTux :- If you want to go with asnd let use know I can post some examples. If you're just trying to play PCM's then go with asndlib.by scanff - Coding

hummm .. The Elder Scrolls series ... Daggerfall was dos but I did see some sites on how to patch it for windows. (Daggerfall == awesome game). Oblivion is the latest in the series but only a few years old you might get it running on your specs. A classic oldie is Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. very nice game. Fable (1) is available for PC and may play on your specs. Againby scanff - Offtopic
They seem pretty anal about keeping it closed source even though it's written in VB (BIG LOL) to quote the users "*sigh* Oh boy, another homebrew topic..." . (big middle finger to them). I did not even download the game but in the past I've converted some old projects from VB5/6 to C, it's not that hard if you know both languages and if the VB game is well programmed (uses Windby scanff - Ideas, requests

if_config() returns those values for you. Something like : char localip[16]; char gateway[16]; char netmask[16]; if (if_config ( localip, netmask, gateway, TRUE) < 0) { // Error return; } printf("My local IP is %s, the netmask is %s and the gateway is %s\n",localip, netmask, gateway);by scanff - Coding
Take a look at the client stub from WiiRadio. We wrote it to work on Linux, Windows and Wii so there are ifdef's. It seems to work pretty well. Edit - P.S. On Wii before any network stuff you need to call if_config(). Unless it's been changed recently.by scanff - Coding
Also check this old thread out. The Wii's network functions are listed in it. Weird I remembered that thread but the search could not find it.by scanff - Coding

Well ... there was some work done - I made a nice html parser and JSMaster was working on a CSS parser. Last I remember you could render a few basic html tags. JSMaster disappeared and after the Internet channel was made free I basically had no interest in working on this. However the project is still there if anyone wants to work on it.by scanff - Ideas, requests
calvinss4, sorry I just got internet access. Would have been cool to meet someone from the hb scene. Waxy, No did not see it. The MS area was crazy they had the kinect there (which is stupid). Hey all, Been spending the last couple of days at PAX in Seattle. Very cool, and my favorite gaming show. I decided to start a photo album with all the interesting people I met. I started putting them together so if anyone is interested they are on my blog - Comments, requests are welcome :)by scanff - Offtopic
QuoteXICO2KXQuoteArikadoNo OpenGL for Wii homebrew. Sorry. Don't know if it is any good or not, but the people on the GL2GX project seems to have already begin to develop an OpenGL wrapper for GX! ;) Yes the GL2GX works well if you tinker with it. However GL is only used for speed, DukeNukem 3D is NOT 3D. I'm sure that this will be ported sometime soon. It's not a matter of ifby scanff - Ideas, requests
