I was actually referring to this thread (Code dump on my dol loader app)by scanff - Coding
Have you opened up the wii and looked inside? Just guessing (as I'm not planning to take mine apart) it maybe on the board and light piped to the front.by scanff - Hardware
Sorry as of August 14th we don't support patched IOSs -by scanff - BootMii Beta
Yes sorry I'll have to close it.by scanff - Homebrew General

I understand technically this is a different issues but please next time continue the chat in the original thread (the one below). Thanks, it helps keep this place clean. I'll leave it for now but if another mod/admin may merge it with the previous post.by scanff - Coding
There are several different libraries you could use top do this - GRRLIB, SDL or straight GX. Which are you trying to use?by scanff - Coding
The only other thing I can think of is download another HB project that loads pngs and build it to see if they load on it. My projects wiiradio and bash the castle both use SDL and load png's from the SD card.by scanff - Coding
Here's the current portlib png Yes you should not need to compile, just copy to the include and lib folders under libogc.by scanff - Coding
We don't support USB loaders here. Read the rules!by scanff - The Junkyard
What program are you using to create the png? I had issues with an older version of paint shop pro creating png's but after running them through gimp everything worked. Also the png IMG_Load is part of SDL image which is different from loading a bitmap, the SDL_LoadBMP is in the main SDL library. If libpng is not installed I'd expect link errors but who knows.by scanff - Coding
Are you sure that image.png is where you think it is? try sd:/image.png if it's on the sd card. You can test like so: SDL_Surface *image = 0; image = IMG_Load("image.png"); if(!image) exit(0); Also what happens if you do this :- offset.x = 1; offset.y = 1; offset.w = image->w; offset.h = image->h;by scanff - Coding
Is there anything like half.com in France? I've got old games from it before. Or even Amazon.com sells used games via private sellers. Or is there a store like Gamestop in France that sells used.by scanff - Offtopic
See - I think someone started but it faded out.by scanff - Ideas, requests
Yes everything's the same... here's a link to one of my projects take a look as it is c++.by scanff - Coding
QuoteKevinEvansI'm not sure... :p But it seems that more people use C instead of C++ for homebrew applications... Not true, just the examples are C. C++ is fine to use for Wii homebrew. All my projects are C++. All you'll need to do is rename your .c files to .cpp.by scanff - Coding

Please don't duplicate threads, you started this one Use that to continue your questions.by scanff - Getting Started
QuotedancinninjaScanff, you bring up an interesting point. One that I am personally unfamiliar with. How much do developers make? I was under the impression that it was "not enough" for the amount of work that they do, as evidenced here. Well I'm not sure worldwide. I can say where I live (west coast, us) it's $100k+ if you are a C/C++ developer.by scanff - Offtopic
QuotedancinninjaMy point was that you should support the official developers. I have spent the past few months and over 200 hours learning GX (the graphical API for the Wii) inside and out. What that has taught me is that it takes an incredible amount of time, energy, know-how, and work to create a game. The people who created these games did not do so in their spare time; they didn't have aby scanff - Offtopic
randomdude - No no no ... Unless you do them! Also you're banned ... randomdude AKA GameWizard71 .... And STOP deleting stuff from the WiiRadio Wiki page. I'll close this topic till an admin is on to ban you again.by scanff - Ideas, requests
You've been banned already (twice I believe) ... TOPIC CLOSED !!by scanff - Homebrew Applications
Yes this is all a bit retarded. -Close topic-by scanff - The Junkyard
Should be fixed in the latest release 0.6 -by scanff - Homebrew Applications
I think the code at www.lostlabyrinth.com is also written in some weird basic. I looked on the SF.NET page it looks like someone started the project in C++ but gave up and switch to basic 3 years ago. It looks like a pretty cool game, I'll play it later.by scanff - Ideas, requests
This is nothing to do with Wii coding. I'll move it to OT. Btw - ActiveX is Microsoft Windows only.by scanff - Offtopic
You would have gotten an answer but you FAILED!!! Read the Rules!!!by scanff - The Junkyard
A Better method I've found for running multiple OS's is Sun VBox (http://www.virtualbox.org/). I use it all the time, I run linux from within Windows. Far easier than partitioning. Also when you're done with the OS all you have to do it delete the file image and you've got the space back.by scanff - Offtopic
