I'd like to see a simple online flash game (castle wars!!) ported to the wii that allows you to play with your friends either via server username or wiicode or ip address, but that would mean somone would have to run a server unless it can just be added to the servers that are out there (X-gen?)by ninjafish1990 - Homebrew General
As mentioned 64-bit should fix it, but that means no more 16 bit apps, also this!!!! en.wikipedia.org (as if the World will last that long)by ninjafish1990 - Offtopic
QuoteDrLuckyQuoteninjafish1990QuotescanffDon't think its possible. Firstly like I said I can't think of a way to capture the screen. I dont know if this forum type allows for it, but if it does it would be nice.by ninjafish1990 - Feedback & Support
I just got it as well, says mod has to approve it...But im going to follow tona's advice and repost in a few minutes... EDIT: So i reposted it and both got posted, so I assume it got approved. (for those others that read this)by ninjafish1990 - Feedback & Support
QuoteDrLuckyor you could just read every post like I do... Which I do also and am trying to prevent, not just for me but for the good of the forum..just a suggestion..by ninjafish1990 - Feedback & Support

QuotescanffYou could configure it to connect via whatever tcp port you wanted. I think 5900 is default. But this is viewing a computer on the Wii. and not the other (I can't think of a way to capture the screen of the Wii). That was my first question, with regaurds to connection. Why would you want to access your computer from your wii? Wouldn't it be more beneficial to access your wby ninjafish1990 - Homebrew General
QuoteArikadoIt shows up in red numbers on the main page, and as a red flag by the topics containing new posts. Ok i knew that, it would be nice (as seen on other forums) to have a link on the top page so it would link you to the threads you are interested so you dont have to hunt through them all.by ninjafish1990 - Feedback & Support
QuotescanffYes, possible and not to difficult to port. If your after a VNC server then you'd need a way to capture the wii's screen which I don't believe is possible right now. ninjafish1990 - VNC uses a port and would be handled by the TCP layer, no need to worry about compatibility there. Also I suggested this under this thread - I may actually attempt coding this butby ninjafish1990 - Homebrew General
QuoteDrLuckythis is probably a grey area, but I definitely see your point...you want IOS info. Yes, all I have been getting is ridicule for my topic (granted its been here for less then 12 hours), but IOS info would be nice, I'm semi new to the wii scene and new to soft-modding, I have only chipped before and some other modifications (hdd and what not). So I don't know exactly what I nby ninjafish1990 - The Junkyard
Quotebg4545Well you did admit to using the backup launcher... But I guess it's for the mods to decide.\ True, but I did not request: "Information about how to run or make backups/copies of Wii discs." Which is the only mentioned use of backup illegality in the rules and guidelines. Technically, I dont think it should be illegal, because im requesting information about IOS's and cby ninjafish1990 - The Junkyard

Is there a possibility to get a: Show new replies to your posts. or a : Show unread posts since last visit. Llink on the top of the home page, so you can see what happened while you were gone? QuotebuddypepperWould it be possible for someone to port VNC Viewer to run on the Wii? I realize that you could connect via the internet channel, with the coreect settings, but a native VNC client would be way cooler - maybe with some sort of virtual keyboard.....any takers? Sounds fun, however I dont know if the networks would be compatible, I'm sure they are but you might have to do somethby ninjafish1990 - Homebrew General
Quotebg4545Backups are not condoned here on wiibrew. The patchmii cios doesn't have backup support... Thank you, that solves one problem. Also is this an illegal topic (for the forum). I'm not trying to get info on how to run backups or the any illegal app im getting info on the IOS's themselves (which are technically illegal in and of themselves aren't they? just wondering)by ninjafish1990 - The Junkyard
I use Backup Launcher' ISO, which I think is IOS249. I tried to use a cios on WiiBrew's site, which was patchmii, (which is supposed to "download IOS36 from the Nintendo update servers, patch it, and install it as IOS249"). As a result one particular app ceased to work as it is intended. So I essentially downgraded to what I had and started over Today I (think I) learned you can patchby ninjafish1990 - The Junkyard
I think some apps require different versions but the IOS i think of choice is 30.by ninjafish1990 - Getting Started
