Quoteninjafish19903.2 is still considered the "preferred" firmware. For no reason whatsoever, even on 4.2 you can install all your fail if you so desireby cactusjack901 - Ideas, requests

QuoteArikadoQuotemetroid_maniacThe Wiimote speakers can only really make generic sounds for us, using it as a mike won't work well. When we initially checked out the hardware it was discovered that the speakers are in fact two way. However, making them work in reverse hasn't been accomplished (yet). Any speaker is, in theory two way, a microphone is simply a speaker in reverse. Basicby cactusjack901 - Ideas, requests

it's not happening. This rumor has been floating around for a while now.by cactusjack901 - Offtopic
did you use something such as cIOSCORP, I see you have 222, 223, 202, 249, and 250, which are cIOS versions meant for piracy, which we can not help you with here. If you did, there's your problemby cactusjack901 - Homebrew Applications
I think it's because you can't rewrite sectors, if you're going to write to it, you have to write the whole thing overby cactusjack901 - Offtopic

Quoteddddddi'm 13 QuoteArikadoWhy don't you calm your narrow mind down you rumor mongering thirteen year old twat. Yes, you are correct in saying that it is illegal for Nintendo to intentionally damage anyone's Wii console. However, you fail to take note that Nintendo has not done so. Nintendo has never intentionally bricked any Wii consoles, modified or not. So insteadby cactusjack901 - Offtopic
If you want, I have an older hackmii installer with the old DVDx, just make sure you're not on 4.2 and I'll send it to youby cactusjack901 - Homebrew Applications
I'd say it's gone flat, just based from the standpoint of I love apps like Bootmii and whatnot, and for the most part, people just kinda rely on Comex/Twiizers/Crediar etc. to make these apps for them, rather than pushing their knowledge of the Wii and writing their own. Just look at how few MINI apps there areby cactusjack901 - Offtopic

QuoteWikiFSXI can think of one legitimate use for a backup loader, and that is testing to see if the Wii can properly handle a homebrew disc one has created. However, a major part of this would be making sure that there are no banner problems, and no backup loader that exists right now loads banners. Also, homebrew discs no longer are useful on most Wiis. well, half true, there is cIOSCrap, butby cactusjack901 - Offtopic

Well that's the problem, backups are illegal depending on your location. Whether or not you use backups, legal or illegal, is up to you. We can't support legal backups here because the information could be used by pirates. Personally, I'm not going to talk you out of using backups, legal or illegal, I'm just saying you have to go somewhere else to get the supportby cactusjack901 - The Junkyard
