yeah, I'd like a mac port of this, especially since the only (working) computers I have are PPC macsby cactusjack901 - Ideas, requests
on SD cards, on the left hand side, there's a little lock switch, you probably just knocked it to LOCK, down = locked, up = unlockedby cactusjack901 - BootMii Beta
yeah, even if you do want to softmod (which is not supported here), say as far away as you can from cIOSCORP. It just does things in a very bad, backwards manner.by cactusjack901 - Getting Started
please, don't take offense at this, but if you didn't understand what TopGun96 said, I don't know if homebrew is for you.by cactusjack901 - Homebrew Applications
Quoteheadfirst4halosQuoteTopGun96They would still be able to see that bootmii was installed. Plus there havent been any confirmed reports of nintendo giving users a hard time about homebrew. Quoteninjafish1990That sounds great, but you forget your NAND backup is going to have traces of Bootmii on it. I know the wii will have traces of bootmii but i don't think nintendo can find it unleby cactusjack901 - Getting Started
QuoteSifJarno, the lack of HBC is NOT the problem. The two are not reliant on each other at all. But still install HBC, its great. And there is no real need for BootMii without it, as its nearly impossible to brick a Wii if you just use official stuff. Except losing power during an update. Yeah, we can't really help you out with that here, it's against the rules. Backups or not, it still involves the same methods used for piracy.by cactusjack901 - Getting Started
well, if they're the unsupported type of disc, all I can and will say is that Gecko OS is not a Warez tool, it is a tool that is used to A) get a debug dump in realtime if a USB Gecko is present and B) play imported discsby cactusjack901 - Getting Started
have you tried booting without the SD card and without a DVD in the drive? Also, have you tried re-flashing with that same NAND dump? It's still beta software, so I don't think it would be entirely impossible that RestoreMii screwed up somewhere along the line. unfortunate, yes, but not impossible, although I really hope that's not the case.by cactusjack901 - FixMii
what do you mean by "games" do you mean homebrew discs? or warez discs?by cactusjack901 - Getting Started

...do you have any apps on the SD card? and if so, do you have them on there correctly?by cactusjack901 - Getting Started
Problems: 1) You used a softmodding pack 2) You tried to install bootmii to boot2 a second time, instead of just preparing the SD card, either way you should've made a backup of the SD card as soon as you made the NAND backup 3) You installed cIOSCORP, just....just don't. You may like what it does (even though it isn't supported here, so you shouldn't have come here to begiby cactusjack901 - FixMii
So you're talking about using the DS as a VNC client and the Wii as a VNC server? either way, not going to happen. Both the Wii and the DS wouldn't be able to multi-task something of that caliber without taking a MAJOR performance hitby cactusjack901 - Ideas, requests
The only thing I can think of is that you keep clicking on Bootmii instead of The Homebrew Channelby cactusjack901 - BootMii Beta
Alright, as it stands, I would love to have BootMii as my boot2, however, when I try to restore any NAND backup I make, it tells me that my dump is from a different Wii. I have tried installing/uninstalling BootMii several times in an effort to get this working, however, if you can not tell, I am simply at the end of my wit's length. I'm on 4.1U, and I have a LU34 Wii, I'm unsuby cactusjack901 - BootMii Beta
