well generally Waninkoko's apps are not supported here, HOWEVER, this one does have legitimate uses on occasion, so I'll just assume you intend to use it for non-piracy purposes. Try using WAD Manager 1.4 or 1.5, 1.3 is outdated and has been for a whileby cactusjack901 - Getting Started
OS X isn't based off Linux, it's based off BSD, which in turn was based off UNIX, similar, but different. Also, my single biggest argument FOR buying a mac, is how long the hardware lasts, my iMac G4 has been through A LOT of crap, including, but not limited to being taken apart by the US Secret Service, and lemme tell you, they do not give a crap if it goes back together correctly. tby cactusjack901 - Offtopic

there is no need to downgrade, so why would you need to worry about this in the first place?by cactusjack901 - Homebrew General
QuoteTopGun96I agree I went a little overboard but still... The installation of WADs and other illegal software is unsupported here. (better?) and none taken. Yeah, actually, that is better =p It really just boils down to the fact that it's not supported here, but if you do do it, fine, just don't come here for help if you run into issuesby cactusjack901 - Getting Started

QuoteSifJarWell, you certainly couldnt ever run CD-ROMs, the Wii doesn't have the hardware to read CDs, only DVDs. And you'd probably need to port each game individually, and then add files from the CD to the port to play it (like the Doom and Quake ports on the Wii) exactly, and even beyond that, if we wanted to run ALL PC games at the same time, we'd have to either A) Port aby cactusjack901 - Ideas, requests

I would just like to make the point, that (no offense, dude) TopGun96 has been taking a bit of an extremist view as to WADs. I mean, yeah, they're illegal, but at the same time doesn't saying things like "they'll definitely brick your wii" spread misinformation, I mean, yeah, there is a high likelihood of bricking if you're using a custom-made WAD, there's no doubt aboutby cactusjack901 - Getting Started
QuoteSifJarHave you guys tried Update Downloader? You should be able to use it I think as Mac is based on Unix. You can find it here . You just need to install the GCC, make and wget packages (dont know how you'd do this on a Mac), then open a terminal and head to the update downloader folder and type make. Then you follow the instructions on the page (click Manual for making in Windows, atby cactusjack901 - Ideas, requests

what SifJar is saying is that we'd have to grab the NUS WAD Packer source and compile a new app. I'd do this, but the computer I'd do it on is out of commission, so I'm stuck in the mud with being useful to any coding productivityby cactusjack901 - Ideas, requests

you know... I just thought of something. I might get warned/banned for this, but as I said, it's just a thought, I'm not endorsing it, hell I doubt I'll even try it, but, doesn't Waninkoko's cIOS have SDHC support? and by that logic, wouldn't cIOScrap allow custom textures off an SDHC card?by cactusjack901 - Homebrew Applications

well, I would run TBR, downgrade IOS15, install a bugged IOS36, restore IOS15, then use DOP-IOS to DOP IOS60, and then install cIOS. That's how I did it at leastby cactusjack901 - Homebrew General

Quotemetroid_maniacQuoteSuper_nessAnd YES, even though you are on 4.1, you can update!! Since cIOScrap puts all IOSs at v7 or something, the updater assumes your not on 4.1 and upgrades all the IOSs. On a little note, wouldn't you think they'd put the version number at something high?
