Anyways, I took a look through the source today. Here are my findings: They're on 417 as of October 4th. Whats taking so long is dynarec: A dynamic recompilation tool that allows full speed emulation by breaking down the ROM and then rebuilding (recompiling) it as Wii code to run at full speed. Right now, games can only be run using an interpreter: A tool that takes each line of N64 code and converts it to Wii code as it comes up.
I guess the games can be run pretty fast right now (judging by the video and what I saw in the source), but not fast enough that its worth releasing right now. I hope that clears everyone up a bit.
