I used AnyRegion Changer to downgrade my wii and after it installed system menu 3.2 it told me that I had a console area and system menu mismatch, but they were both the same region. After restarting my wii everything was normal. So it is probably just a bug in AnyRegion Changer.by jbc007 - Getting Started
The cIOS allows mplayer to play dvds without DVDx.by jbc007 - Homebrew Applications
Press reset as many times as necessary until loadmii starts, if you press it a few times and it still does not start than there may be another problem that I have never encountered. Although loadmii may be worth a try, it is likely not to help.by jbc007 - FixMii
You can still run homebrew through an exploit (what you used to run the Hackmii installer, just use the boot.dol/elf from the application you want to run instead of the one for the Hackmii installer).by jbc007 - Getting Started
Bootmii as boot2 will start automaticly when you turn on your wii if your SD card is inserted and contains the Bootmii folder that the Hackmii installer made. If your SD card is inserted and set up properly, but Bootmii still does not load, you should try another SD card since the one that you are using is probably not compatible with Bootmii. To run dvds, you will have to install the mplayerby jbc007 - Getting Started
Many of your IOSes seem to be patched, hence the Hackmii installer will not use them. Use Dop-IOS or a wad installer to install IOS 30 v1040. Edit: Just rmembered that the IOS 249 that you have is a stub, so Dop-IOS will not work, sorry.by jbc007 - Getting Started
If you want to launch Bootmii IOS from Preloader you could use Bootmii Booter, but there is really no reason to do this.by jbc007 - Getting Started
Did you check on the root of your SD card? The file should be there and it is called installer.log.by jbc007 - Getting Started
Please post the installer log file that the Hackmii installer made. That can help us figure out what is wrong.by jbc007 - Getting Started
Install the mplayer cIOS. Alternately, you could use the Hackmii installer 0.4 or older to install DVDx if your system menu is below 4.2.by jbc007 - Homebrew Applications
Bootmii is the program that you use to make a NAND backup, but it must be installed first. It is safe to install.by jbc007 - Getting Started
Is your SD card set up properly (root\apps\Cios_patchmii_installer-rev05(or anything you want)\boot.dol)? Also, you need trucha in IOS 36 to install it.by jbc007 - Getting Started
Whenever I run loadmii from preloader I also get a code dump, but pressing reset will get past it and start loadmii. I only suggested pimp my wii because it is the last program that I can think of that can install a system menu; I haven't used it myself so I cannot help you with its usage. The problem that you are having is extremely unusual and I cannot say for sure what is causing it.by jbc007 - FixMii
I don't think that you need a different chip. You just need to use the auto boot tool (can't remember what it's called) to make the disc auto boot.by jbc007 - FixMii
Bootmii installed as boot2 will provide the best brick protection possible, however, the IOS version is almost useless. You can use it to make and restore a NAND backup.by jbc007 - Getting Started
Yes, load it with BannerBomb or another exploit.by jbc007 - FixMii
You could burn an autoboot brawl disc, run smash stack, and have it load anytitle deleter. Then delete the WAD.by jbc007 - FixMii
What is the new Title ID for the Homebrew Channel? I am trying to update my Crazy Intro settings but I can't find it anywhere.by jbc007 - Homebrew General
Would that work? I thought that boot2 could not be downgraded; unless, of cource, you already had boot2v4. Still, you may as well try it, I could be wrong.by jbc007 - FixMii
Well, then it is not a problem with the IOS that you chose. Maybe somehow Preloader is having a problem loading the program, although this seems unlikely. Still, you could try using Preloader to load Loadmii and launch Wad Manager with it. You could also test the rest of your IOSs in WAD Manager incase the ones that you used were somehow corrupted. Its just a shot in the dark, but you couldby jbc007 - FixMii
You could do this with Preloader.by jbc007 - Getting Started
It does not matter what WAD installer you use. I recomended WAD Import since it is supported by Wiibrew. WAD manager is more popular, but it is usually used for piracy so it is not on Wiibrew and I cannot link to it. However, it is alright to use it to install legal WADs such as IOS and system menu WADs.by jbc007 - FixMii
To install a system menu you can do an official update, use AnyRegion Changer to install system menu 3.2 (this is will brick a wii with serial number LU 64 or higher), or download a system menu and its IOS with NUS Downloader and install it with WadImport. What system menu version do you have? This will affect what you must do to install a new system menu.by jbc007 - FixMii
This is very odd and probably not related to homebrew. You could try reinstalling the system menu, that might fix it.by jbc007 - FixMii
I think that you may need to have Preloader load loadmii and use loadmii to start Dop-IOS; however, a WAD installation is easier and more likely to work.by jbc007 - FixMii
QuoteTopGun96I've got a patched IOS that the HBC runs off... Souls I hold off on updating? So do I and the update did not affect me.by jbc007 - Offtopic
Just thought of something, are you talking about the IOS that the homebrew channel runs on or the IOS that the installer uses? I have trucha patched IOS 61 and homebrew channel 1.0.4 works normally for me.by jbc007 - Offtopic
I can confirm that it does not happen if it is loaded with an old unpatched IOS since I also am on 3.2 and it worked normally for me.by jbc007 - Offtopic
