Caanoo Vs. Wiz - 14 years ago

I have been thinking about buying one of these two systems. I mostly plan to use it to run emulators. The g-sensor and the wifi are nice features of the caanoo but the d-stick vs. the wiz's d-pad makes me wonder how great it would be for playing games from earlier systems. Is there something like Game Genie for XBOX 360 - 14 years ago

I haven't used game genie or anything like it since the NES day. I like playing FPS games but i suck at them. I want to be able to use it playing locally on my console not over XBOX live. So I am looking for something that would give extra ammunition or life for a single player game. Thanks.

I added the oregon trail to the dosbox compatibility list. I tried it on the first release of dosbox on the wii. Both sound and video worked. Are you trying the oregon trail 1 or a newer version?

I am wondering what does and doesn't work if you update your wii to the newest firmware. I don't use dvdx or any of that warez crap or wads. I have the newest version of the hbc installed, dvdx ( but I don't use it), and bootmii as boot2. I am running 3.3U.

I know this is really off-topic but is there a way in itunes to organize the folders yourself. I don't really like the way itunes sets folders up.For example instead of just having all dan seals songs under dan seals itunes put songs listed under dan seals, seals, dan and dan seals and another artist. I am kind of anal and it just kind of annoys me.

To me the wii is a great system. Even though it attempts to be innovative in its control it reminds me more of the old retro systems then it does the next generation systems. Game cube games - 15 years ago

During the game cube generation I bought a Playstation 2 and that's the only system I could afford/had time to play. Now that gamecube games are really cheap to purchase used I am wondering if anyone could recommend some good gamecube games to look for. Also are gamecube games as enjoyable on the wii as they were on the gamecube. I don't even know what mario games there were during the

For those who feel they can't wait until this emulator is ready you can buy a nintendo 64 with two controllers, memory expansion, and four or five games on ebay for about the price of a newly released wii game at wallmart.

I really like ubuntu linux the only problem is that it doesn't recognize the dolby home theater built into my laptop so there is no sound. Also last I checked there is no legal way to use a blueray drive with ubuntu

Maybe read the first page of the forum the next time you post. No discussion of backups or piracy in general is allowed. As for watching dvds dvdx is available on wiibrew.

I wonder if it would be possible to ask a few questions to anyone wanting to join these forums. EX. Why do you want to join these forums? Then based on there answer accept or deny there membership request. Then we wouldn't have to read all these posts asking about backups and custom firmware.

Is the compiled r466 version much more functional than the original version I have heard that the emulator is still really buggy but haven't tried it since the first edition that came out with the homebrew channel last spring.

Next generation consoles - 16 years ago

I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about a new Nintendo, Sony playstation, or Microsoft x-box set to come out in the future. They have all been out for awhile now so I figure in the next year or 2 it will likely happen. (also handheld consoles)
