I KNOW! I WANT TO PLAY GCN GAMES BUT SINCE I HAVE THE BC WITH THE FAKESIGN FIX IT WILL NOT LOAD BOOTMII/BOOT2!!! Boot0 ->Boot1 -> Boot2 -> Sysmenu & IOS -> BC ->Boot2 -> MIOS ________________________^^^^^^^________^^^ This changes clock speed, which Boot2 detects and loads MIOS __________________________When you go on the Disc channel (built in to the sys menu) and load a GCby metroid_maniac - Getting Started
1) thx, will try now 2 & 3) source: here. I think Bushing is right! Edit: 1) when preparing SD for Beta2, it skipped settings file. Yay! fixed now after deleting settings file then prepping SD again Edit2: changed ___ to here and changed edit no.1 (confusingby metroid_maniac - Getting Started
Turn it on with your wii remote. if it turns on, but not connect afterwards then BT module will not help Basically: the Menu loads up and starts the bluetooth module. if it doesn't initialise, then the menu freezes. Savemii will still work here. However, it will not fix it, being a hardware errorby metroid_maniac - FixMii
RIGHT: The Autoboot on Bootmii is evil! olease explain to me how to do it! AND I want to know if Bootmii/boot2 interfiers with loading GC games (please confirm) AND The BC that came with 3.3 rejects fakesigned Boot2's since it goes: Sysmenu -> BC -> Boot2 -> MIOS I want the older version of BC so it doesn't reject a fakesigned Boot2 (Bootmii)by metroid_maniac - Getting Started
No, all my GC games are scratched so I am using my modded Gamecube to play them currently. I am going to buy them again when I know that I will be able to play them on my wii with bootmii as boot2.by metroid_maniac - Getting Started
OK then. I only have backed up ones so I'll go out and buy the cheapest I can find!by metroid_maniac - Getting Started
No, I mean when sysmenu sees GC game and loads it it goes: Menu -> BC -> Boot2 -> MIOS (BC changes Clock speed, Boot2 detects it) I have a new BC which rejects fakesigned Boot2's (it came with 3.3v1) I want pre 3.3 BC Also, the autoboot is EVIL! please can you give me a ready-made settings file (just in a code box) for AUTOBOOT=SYS MENU and TIMEOUT=2. pretty please? (sorryby metroid_maniac - Getting Started
what do you mean? where does it not work? does the wii boot normally? can you turn the wii on with the wii romote?by metroid_maniac - FixMii
wow, that was quick! i'll PM you about where I found out about CMDVDx34by metroid_maniac - Getting Started
comex's DVDx installer for 3.4. often used by pirates for downgrading and stuff. fortunately, it does have a "you are a pirate" scan, though some have avoided it. google CMDVDx34.by metroid_maniac - Getting Started
Right I need to know how to configure bootmii with an autoboot to sys menu with a timeout of 2 secs and: Does Bootmii boot2 work with GC games? If not, can you make it work soon, as in one of the next releases? I have the 3.3v1 BC and MIOS, can you make a downgrader or somthing like that to Pre-3.3 versions?by metroid_maniac - Getting Started
see what I mean. try booting into maintinence mode if it doesn't freeze on healthwarning, only afterby metroid_maniac - FixMii
this is probably a broken Bluetooth module. this happens occaisionally, for no real reason. there is a BT module here but I don't know how to install it. all I know is that it involves tearing out one bit of your wii and putting in another :-) (the website is safe, I use it all the time for all sorts of electronics) EDIT: teh spellingby metroid_maniac - FixMii
the modchip allows you to read burned games, which is what you want. Any chip would probably work so long as it has no region changing BY DEFAULT. any help here would be apreciated.by metroid_maniac - FixMii
try and find one without Region changing by default, it messes with the autobootby metroid_maniac - FixMii
not really. try to get a modchip without region changeing by default and boot a STD disc in itby metroid_maniac - FixMii
if it's a banner brick it wont be fixed by sys menu update try the savemii chart hereby metroid_maniac - FixMii
semibricks and fullbricks are by wrong region of sysmenu, bannerbricks by malformed banners. updating the sys menu wouldn't touch the bannerby metroid_maniac - FixMii
Quotekalakoiyou could use a drivechip to load recovery menu and boot the backup disk. google "syn-backup1.31" Backup disc doesn't work: QuoteWiibrew: wii backup discIt also doesn't boot on full bricked Wiis and it's unlikely that it repairs half bricked Wiis since delete all only deletes savegames/settings and not any channel content (Weather/News/Games..) or the firmware. Yby metroid_maniac - FixMii
QuoteArikadoAll you need is Savemii(frii) and a disc with higher firmware than you Wii's to recover from a banner brick. Once you've recovered, install Bootmii and stop playing with WADs! That would only work for semi/full brick, wouldn't it? For a banner brick you need a autoboot ARC disc correct? EDIT: you need a ATD autobootby metroid_maniac - FixMii
I used it because my Wii is pretty freaky (3.2j, tried region changing but disc didn't work) and bootmii is too unstable for me as boot2 or sys menu ios so I installed it nowhere near the boot processby metroid_maniac - BootMii Beta
it might. region free settings usually tamper with autoboot setting. for example, if you used trucha on pal zelda tp then 0zdp (pal autoboot) might become Rzde (ntsc-usa standard) as a side effect of the region change. try and find a chip without region changing by default.by metroid_maniac - FixMii
it wouldn't help, it would have popped up on bootby metroid_maniac - FixMii
if he uninstalled any sys menu after then his sys menu is gone. as such he needs somthing earlier in the boot process to help him, in this case bootmii (boot2 or menu ios version)by metroid_maniac - FixMii
It is banner brick. no games will help you recover currrently.by metroid_maniac - FixMii
preloader can't fix some semi bricks, not the most common (caused by out of region updates)by metroid_maniac - FixMii
Try the title database on wiibrewby metroid_maniac - FixMii
as far as I know, that would leave the tickets. can someone conform this?by metroid_maniac - Getting Started
this is probably a hardware error. wipe the HBC with AnyTitleDeleter (it is called HAXX) ad send it in to nintyby metroid_maniac - FixMii
