Are you sure you're saving the state or the RAM? You need to save to state.by Mestizo - Homebrew Applications
And is that possible to do with the new DopMii?by Mestizo - Homebrew Applications
Then how come I don't have that feature? I'm using GeckoOS v. 1.9.3.1by Mestizo - Homebrew Applications
GeckoOS can't launch channels. How do I enable that feature?by Mestizo - Homebrew Applications
Is there a way now, now that patching's disabled, to enable use of Ocarina cheats on WiiWare/VC games?by Mestizo - Homebrew Applications
Most likely, you can find them at www.smashboards.com. All you need to do is copy-paste them into a text file in the same format as the code sheet for Wii games, along with the other codes you want to use, and put them in SD\txtcodes. Then run Cheat Manager, enable the codes, then generate them to a .gct, then run Gecko OS.by Mestizo - Homebrew Applications
I saw an instance where the Nintendo, Internet, Check Mii Out, and Everyone Votes channels were installed. I think it was because I had like 300 spare blocks at the time. If you don't want them, just delete them through data management.by Mestizo - Homebrew General
It's nothing to worry about. I got Metroid: Other M at around 11, popped it in at noon, ran the update. I still had Homebrew Channel 1.0.8 and Wii System Menu 4.3. All it seems to do is install some missing optional channels (Check Mii Out, Everyone Votes, etc).by Mestizo - Homebrew General
It did have an update, but all it seemed to do was install Everyone Votes and Check Mii Outby Mestizo - Getting Started
I'm picking up my copy of Metroid: Other M in half an hour. Is there an update on it and, if so, is it safe to run? Current Wii system menu: 4.3U Current Homebrew Channel: 1.0.8by Mestizo - Getting Started
You're right. I guess I am being paranoid. I was looking for reviews for the service on the Wii, and I ran into a video that mentions it, but he had a program on his Wii to load backups. Either it was something on his end, or he's quoting pure conjecture. I'll update this when I get the disk. Also, I found it kind of odd how I had to update the Wii after updating to 4.3 to playby Mestizo - Getting Started
I know. I was one of the people that said it. I just heard about it, that it can either delete the HBC or brick the system.by Mestizo - Getting Started
I currently have HBC 1.0.8 and 4.3U system menu. I signed up for the Netflix on Wii service. I heard the disc has an update that could potentially brick the Wii. Is this true? Is that update safe?by Mestizo - Getting Started
There's a new rule. Talk of any IOS mods or cIOS is against forum rules. Technically, I think this qualifies.by Mestizo - Getting Started
Everything possible could be found here, one wiibrew.org. For starters, may I suggest installing the Homebrew Channel? After that, you can use the Homebrew Browser to get homebrew games, programs, emulators, etc.by Mestizo - Getting Started
Also, go into the control settings. Make sure "SNES controller (2)" is selected.by Mestizo - Homebrew Applications
Reload Bannerbomb, or move the Hackmii Installer (the folder in the zipped file) into the SD:\apps folder, then launch it in Homebrew Channel. You can reinstall BootMii that way. Just a bit of warning; if you can install BootMii as boot2, do so and DO NOT update to 4.3. Nintendo can override and patch boot2 to disable BootMii as boot2by Mestizo - Getting Started
What region is your Wii/copies of the game? Smash Stack will only work in USA, and Indiana Pwns will work in USA/PAL. You need a 2 GB SD card (Not SDHC)by Mestizo - Getting Started
After undoing everything you did with Priiloader, try resetting the router and the internet settings on your Wii. Disable WiiConnect24, then try an update again.by Mestizo - Homebrew General
Run Priiloader and re-enable all permissions for updates. To be on the safe side, re-enable everything, as the update will remove those either way.by Mestizo - Homebrew General
QuoteSifJarWTF? What has channels got to do with dop-Mii? Its a tool for updating and patching stuff from NUS, NOTHING to do with channels and SD (at least, not last time I checked) QuoteMestizoI'm trying to install a fakesigned IOS36 so I can run WiiWare/VC games through GeckoOS.by Mestizo - Getting Started
Ok. Also, for the next release, do you think it would be possible to load channels through an SD card? I have multi-player games on my System Menu for parties (Mario Tennis, Pokemon Puzzle League, King of Fighters 95), and single-player games/games I've beaten in the SD card, and I don't feel like trading them out when I wanna use codes.by Mestizo - Getting Started
Is the Wii American? You need an SD (not SDHC) card and a copy of either Super Smash Bros Brawl or Lego Indiana Jones Put the boot.elf from this to the root of your SD card If you're using Super Smash Bros Brawl (Delete any and all custom stages beforehand, including the 3 that come with the game) If you're using Lego Indiana Jonesby Mestizo - Getting Started
I'm trying to install a fakesigned IOS36 so I can run WiiWare/VC games through GeckoOS. When I load DOP-Mii, it will only respond to a Gamecube controller, not the remote. After the first screen, a DSI error occurs. My HBC is 1.0.7 and my Wii is 4.3by Mestizo - Getting Started
For Smash Stack, the requirements are: Absolutely NO custom stages either on the Wii or SD card's private folder (which is why you rename it "privateold" NTSC copy on NTSC Wii (Only in America) 2GB standard SD card (Not SDHC or MicroSD) If not, you need to use Indiana Pwns, which works in both America and Europe (The system and copy's region NEEDS to match)by Mestizo - Getting Started
If this is the very first thing and only thing you've done, then no harm done. However, if you had downloaded games from the Wii Shop, you need to buy them again.by Mestizo - Getting Started
I was over my cousin's to check out how his Wii was after I updated it to 4.3 and his Homebrew Channel to 1.0.7. It seems to have been working fine, then he invited his friend over to play some Gamecube games. He plugged the Gamecube controller into slot 1 of the Gamecube port and, out of nowhere, the disc tray flashed blue, the power light flickered orange, then absolutely no lights turnedby Mestizo - FixMii
Is there a way to uninstall BootMii IOS without Smash Stack?by Mestizo - Getting Started
If you currently have the Homebrew Channel, just run it and it should ask for an update. Update that, then update the Wii itself.by Mestizo - Homebrew Applications
QuoteClassic64ManHello I just softmodded my Wii using Smash Stack, but I erased the saved game file for Smash Bros. It contained 128 block space (somewhere around 124 mb), in a game I never played. Does this hurt my Homebrew, because now it seems my homebrew is not working as well emulating games as it did before. If I did damage my homebrew can I uninstall it and reinstall homebrew onto my wii?by Mestizo - Getting Started
