^^^Check the main page for the latest releases of Tantrics emulators. He released new versions and I read on the VBA page that he gave it some minor optimizations. Re-format the card to just FAT instead of FAT32 before you buy a new card. Your Wii may not like FAT32 for w/e reason.by nightwishfan1 - Getting Started
I'm asking if my AT&T sim card for my new laptop air card can double as a storage device for homebrew on my Wii without corrupting the connection details my laptop saved to it, cause if I can I'd like to get double the use out of it....However I got no idea if using homebrew from it will adversely affect the connection details that are stored on the sim card. And in case anyone is wondby nightwishfan1 - Getting Started
^^^Yeah people have had problems with that game. Primarily cause it used a solar sensor thing. There are patches for that, that help with how a emulator runs the game and what not, but with the emulator not being optimised it wouldnt make much difference if the game was or wasnt patched....Not with this particular emulator anyway, until someone helps Tantric with it.by nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
Only thing I can think of then is if it is crashing is that perhaps the roms arent stored properly. Looking at my SD card setup for the emulator I have the kickstarts in the roms folder, however in that folder I had to create a folder for each individual kickstart named exactly as the name of the kickstart you intend to put into that folder. So basically what I have is the following foldersby nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
Another case of nobody noting beta in the version names of emulators.....Expecting too much out of something that wont run things properly til updated. Just take Arikados advice man, cause it's always gonna disappoint you until it's updated, and worked on enough where most N64 games will work on it. Anyway as the term implies beta means early. ^^Just checked it out. The page loads up for me. I'd also suggest checking out your internet connection settings if upgrading still doesnt work. Depending on certain settings you may be unintentionally have your PC cutting off access to that website, which in turn would cause the same problem for your Wii browser as I'm assuming you're routing the Wiis connection through your PCby nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
Tantric is keeping up with around five or so different projects...VBA being one of them, so for him alone anyways there isnt much he can really do about it, though that's not to say that nothing cant be done about it. He merely needs help with optimizing the emulator more for Wii, which means getting a coder compitent enough to help him do so. So definitely in a future update, but not likeby nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications

QuotejesselisabethI used the trucha bug restorer and it allowed me to go to the next install screen, and then it fails, saying 'error making http request' but my wii is connected to the internet...now what? It's not the HBC at all. You probably have a wrong set of kickstart roms for your emulator, which is where you may get a crash from UAE. I used the emulator under I assume the exact same conditions. What I had was the following: HBC 1.0.1 3.2U IOS249 (cIOS version may be different then what you're using) If you're online then contact me via aim and I'll help you outby nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
Use that, cause it will re-enable the trucha bug as well in IOSs. Also you may want to note that some people have conveniently left out details as to whether or not you need a connection to the Wii servers to do what it's supposed to. I dont see any mention of it there so read the documentation carefully. Others should be able to help you further, as I wont assist with possibly brickiby nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications

Dont push the A button when a FDS game is loading as FCEU GX should be loading Side A first by default. Pushing A changes the side of the disk. The FDS games were on hard disks, and usually used both sides for the game data, which were represented as Side A, and Side B. Pressing A on your wiimote or classic controller swaps between the two. Make sure FCEU GX is loading Side A when you load FDby nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
There is no way to reduce the size of the BIOS. You'll always get the error if you dont get the correct one. Actually the wiki gives you a few clues you can use to find it slightly easier. File name, and file size. I cant really much more about it, as no members should help find it directly since it's copyrighted code of nintendo.by nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
^^^It does load fine on that version....However I have noted that there are at least a couple random freeze ups in some scenarios. Not sure if it's a prevalent issue in the pc version, but it does freeze on occasion in some scenarios as stated. As for anything else....Idk. No other problems seem present outside of the random freezing. I've also noted that this game has several verby nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications

It suprises me how so many people who post issues with this emulator dont realize it's a beta still....Betas will never work properly so quit complaining, and just wait for a newer version that may or may not address the issue.by nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
I'm going to assume that most likely this wad will never be compatible with WiiDoom if it's been built up for Skulltag in mind. One thing most people dont understand about source ported Doom engines is that not all of them share the same features....Let alone support them.....PRBoom in this case is merely a enhancement upon Boom. What do you mean by you placed a xxx.sav game file into your saves folder? Like did you get a save file from say the PC variant of the emulator from your pc and placed it there? ^^^It all depends on how portable a given emulator is. Certain development libraries used to make them for PC are easier to port than others. It also depends on how much resources a given emulator demands to get the best out of it. If an emulator uses more than what the Wii can give it then obviously chances are slim that it will be a port candidate, as there's not much that can be done tby nightwishfan1 - Ideas, requests
^^^That wasnt your best move linking to a roms site and suggesting users download from it. Even if your intentions were well meant linking to a roms site encourages piracy. You can look at that thread as the users at tehskeen have noted that the emulatmii list is a bit flawed, and knowing that they went and did their own tests of the games present on the list. Some have even tried games which arent listed in the emulatemii list.
