Quotebippitycan you tell me how you did it? im not sure if mine is still 4.1 and I don't really know how to use NUSD....You install the proper system menu that matches your system setting.txt. This can be done by loading the HBC and launching dop-mii wiibrew edition. You must have HBC 1.07 or 1.08 installed and a network connection, otherwise dop-mii wiibrew will crash when loaded under AHBPby mauifrog - FixMii
One last thing, if SSBB RSBE01 is patched to 0SBE01 to autoboot, it will give error "Please insert SSBB disc". Your chip can patch RSBE01 to 0SBE01 to enable autobooting. If you are getting this "Please insert SSBB disc" error, disable autoboot, or update firmware of chip that supports SSBB.by mauifrog - Getting Started
Clean the wii disc lens. Try laying the wii flat on its side. Try another game exploit to get the HBC installed. Or do you already have the HBC installed and just want to play SSBB. It sounds like your wii dislikes DL discs, this is common issue. Since you have a chip your could take your retail dvd9 SSBB and mod it to a dvd5 version. Perhaps your wii will like the dvd5 better. However your wii cby mauifrog - Getting Started

If savemiifrii does not work and you don't have boot2 bootmii installed only nand reprogramming can fix your wii. You can have the nand reprogrammed on any wii that supports boot2 bootmii install, ie. the wii is old and has a vulnerable boot1. Newer wiis that do not support boot2 bootmii can also be reprogrammed, but to reprogram newer wiis you must have the nand keys. If you have a bootmiiby mauifrog - FixMii
Installing ios249 should not brick your wii. Priiloader should still work. Hold reset and see if priiloader loads. If priiloader is not working savemiifrii should not work either.by mauifrog - FixMii
You will need to get a standard sd card, preferably 1-2g. Indiana pwns does not work with SDHC, even though you can install the savegame hack from it. Standard sd card, non sdhc is what you need, 1-2g so you can make a nand backup after hackmii install.by mauifrog - Getting Started
Try pressing the 1 button on the wiimote a few times, see if it comes up with the optionsby mauifrog - Getting Started
Have your friend try to format his sd card, download the hackmii installer again, extract hackmii files directly to the sd:\ Then try to install again. It should make an installer log on the sd card. If that does not work, delete sd:\boot.elf, extract bootmii-booter.elf to sd:\, run an exploit and bootmii should load. Then launch the bootmini.elf from the bootmii sd menu.by mauifrog - Getting Started
Glad you fixed it.by mauifrog - FixMii
Get a copy of the installer.log from your friend, then post it here. Does your friend have an older version of HBC installed, priiloader, bootmii, or any forwarder channels? This error is rare, and the solution is not obvious. More information may help. A syscheck from your friend may also help, and a list of installed titles from Any Title deleter may not be a bad idea, if he can load anything.by mauifrog - Getting Started
I think as long as cboot2 is compiled by the user it does not violate any rules of this site. If I am wrong, please direct me to the rule that I should read. Obviously cboot2 can not be distributed, but if the user has the required boot2-v2 file and compiles the cboot2 then the use of cboot2 does not violate any wiibrew rules. Cboot2 does not modify the system, does not install patched ios, etc,by mauifrog - FixMii
If you downgraded your wii to 4.1, be sure you did it proper and did not leave an ios70 stub above your sm 4.1. Having stubbed system ios above your current system ios/menu can cause bricks. Anyway, there is not one single reason to update your wii to 4.3 or higher, it just limits the exploits available to your wii. A wii that is on sm 4.1 has every exploit available should you wish to use it (exby mauifrog - FixMii

I think any disc update would get a SM on that wii. I have my doubts that he actually has one though.by mauifrog - FixMii

QuoteDaidMaybe he tries to run a game or new shop channel that requires updating. Most likely reason why updating fails is IOSCORP which can mess up your system good time. Get DOP-Mii and update all you IOSes to the latest versions, that should solve the issue most likely, and it cannot hurt your system. This is not correct and would not cause an update to fail with error code.by mauifrog - Homebrew General
Ok, priiloader 0.7b 1 seems to be working well. I did at least 50 installs and 50 uninstalls, loading with ABHPROT without network. No crashes, no issues. So, if you like, I think 0.7b will be fine to install regardless of your setup.by mauifrog - Getting Started
I don't think I need google, I can just go to your site, I am aware of its location. Forgive me if I missed its release, I don't exactly install it everyday. Regardless, I think I will probably stick to installing with ios36.by mauifrog - Getting Started
Is it up for dl. I will give it a try, I am told it fixes the install issue.by mauifrog - Getting Started
It is very safe, however your only risk is actually installing the channel, not running it. It is possible to install a channel with a bad banner and prevent the system menu from loading. Your best protection would be to install priiloader. Priiloader allows you to recover from such a situation. Now installing priiloader is very good, and almost never fails. However, when installing priiloader,by mauifrog - Getting Started
Bootmii installed as ios when only available is very very important. Well the nand backup is very important as it would allow your wiis nand to be reprogramming should you ever have a run of bad luck. Without boot2 bootmii, only nand programming can fix a full brick, and this can only be done with the nand keys. Bootmii ios in itself will never save your wii, but it provides the backup to have aby mauifrog - Getting Started
QuoteGiantpuneThis is a program called "ohneswanzenegger". It is a multi-platform PC program for creating, formatting, & writing to a nand.bin. It allows you to taylor-make a nand.bin on your PC and then install it with bootmii or a flash programmer. It accepts wads or downloads titles and full updates from NUS. It has been undergoing closed beta testing for the past month or so. During this timeby mauifrog - FixMii
First you need one of two things -an old wii compatible with boo2 bootmii install Or -a newer wii that does not support boot2 bootmii install, but has the NAND keys, from a bootmii NAND backup, xyzz (something like that) or orbs method of getting the keys. If you have the keys you can program the NAND Without a boot2 bootmii compatible wii or the NAND keys, you can't program the NAND.by mauifrog - FixMii
On 4.3 without the HBC, you may be able to load loadmii via disc exploit and then load dop mii, reinstall ios58. If that does not work, other methods are not supported here. You can't uninstall ios58 with dop mii without the HBC. It can be do, but I don't have an ethical method to post Edit- @ hazcrew, I sent you a PM. Actually, I think I sent it twice, sorry.by mauifrog - Getting Started
If you can't do it with any region changer, I think your only choice is NAND restore using giantpunes NAND.bin editor. Possibly you could replace sysconf with fstoolbox, but you would need a working sysconf, and I don't know if that would work. New NAND is your best bet.by mauifrog - FixMii
